Nilima shook her head. "No he hasn't taken me or Braven to any clubs. I don't think he really feels comfortable doing that." She smiled up at him, "These parties, you make them sound so boring."

Gavril nods, "For the most part they are boring. It is always the same thing over and over again. I can understand your father being a bit afraid to take you to them. Well if you ever wish to go to one I will take you. That way you can see what they are like without the worry of an unwanted stallion or mare chasing your tail. I will protect you but let you experience it how ever you like too."
He led her to a large lobby room full of people. Most turned to them as they walked into the room. There was an up roar of applause and a few whistles and hollers. Gavril gave a boy of his head and smiled brightly at them, "Good evening all. I wish to thank you all again for coming to watch me. Dancing for you has been a great highlight in my career and I pray I can dance again for you all again!"

"Well if it is repetitive I bet it is really boring." Nilima went a bit wide eyed at just how many people were in the room. A blush graced her cheeks as she held just a bit tighter on his arm.

Gavril leaned closer to whisper softly in her ear, "Do not worry I wont leave you alone." he smiled and even with her clinging tighter to him he moved towards the crowd stopping to talk to an older couple who came to them first to congratulate Gavril on the night's performance. Gavril introduced NIilima as his niece. The older mare started to regale Nilima about he first time she had seen Gavril dance as a young foal and how he had brought tears to her eyes and how she was even more moved this night to see him so grown and his skills even better than before, though he had been flawless as a foal. Gavril smiled and thanked her giving a bit of a flirt to her and her mate. Butter would not melt in the dancer's mouth.

Nilima nodded and politly greeted the couple. It didn't take her long to relax. Soon she was talking with one of the women just fine, As Gavril pointed out she did indeed have her father's charm. It just took a moment to come out. Gavril staying with her did help.

Gavril was never more than and arm's reach from Nilima but he smiled when she started to act a bit more like her dad. He knew that Ailill's line would be natural charmers. He was sure even Braven had a charming side.
After a wail he pulled the young mare to the side. "How are you enjoying it? Sometimes it is fun to be in the lime light and play to a crowd. Your doing a wonderful job by the way." he reached out as a passing waiter went buy and grabbed to glasses of champagne, "A toast to your first party and being a wonderful little lady?" he said and offered her one of the glasses.

Nilima smiled lightly. "It's interesting, I guess it's because this is the first part like this that I have been to." She accepted the glass and lifted it in a slight toast before taking a small drink. The taste was rather bitter but not bad.

Gavril laughs softly, "Well I am glad to be your first Nilima." he winked at her. "Well you seem to be a natural. I think you will do awesome if you enter this field. There are lots of ways to be a member of this kind of class. As an entertainer or performer or knowing someone who is rich. I am sure you have tons of talents you could use." He smiled watching her drink, "What do you think of the champagne? "

"It's a bit bitter," she giggled. "I think I could like becoming a performer. I like making people smile, and I think I would like dancing if I learned how."

Gavril gave a nod, "Yes from what I gather about your mother and what I know of your father being a performer and in the public's eye seems right up your alley. Well I enjoy dancing of course. Maybe after this party I will give you a basic lesson in dance if you like. Unless you want to dance here in front of all these people for the first time?" He smiled downing his glass and placing it on a passing waitress's platter.

"From what I gather about my mother, he is a childish a**, who does nothing but case my father to get angry and my brother to think he has done something wrong," she said bitterly as she downed the rest of her drink. "Could we do the lesson after the party please?"

Gavril gave a slow nod. "Is that so? So you don't see your mother often any more?" He watched her down the drink and smiled, "Ah don't drink too much all at once or your head will get all spinny and I don't think your father would like me bringing you home drunk." he said and smiled patting her hand, "Alright we shall have ourselves a lesson after the event ends. Though for music you will have to listen to my humming."

Nilima sighed and nodded, "After the day dad looked like he was gonna kill mom... I asked what happened... What mom said about Braven, is just horrible, something no parent should say about their kid." She managed a smile, "It's better than me coming home drunk on my own or with some mystery mearh."

Gavril was curious now, "Oh? And what did he say about your dear brother?" He asked and he picked up two more glasses of champagne. "That is very true. At least you know I will not try to take advantage of you. And you should feel better that it takes a lot to get me drunk." he laughed gently and reached over to ruffle her mane. "You don't have to tell me about what your mother say about your brother. Let us not ruin our evening. Shall we go and mingle some more or do you want to sneak away from the crowd?"
