Velasco was thrown back, smack between a tree and a rock. The bird pokemon managed to land on his own two feet instead fo sliding down the trunk, resting onto the rock that had injured him, his energy was draining. Flapping his wings, he tried to send another pulse of dark energy towards the mew.

Shadow Mew neatly dodged the bird and released the perhaps more merciful Ice Beam to end the fight.

Velasco was knocked over, fainting as the ice settled over his form.
Gepardo pulled Velasco back into his pokeball and sighed softly, shaking his head with a small smile. He waved at Zinnia. "Thank you"

"You're welcome!" Zinnia called as Shadow Mew floated gently back. "Let's battle again sometime!" Then she and the legendary cat exited the stadium for a nice break at the pokemon center.
