She not-so-subtly begun to move towards the fire demon, closing the distance between them until they were almost touching shoulders; it was like standing beside a walking heater. Whenever Danny moved, Lizzy would move with her, even gesturing for their kawaii kohai juniors to do the same.
"This is Danny," She glanced briefly at the ghoul as she introduced her, "Uh, not too long... I think we should move in a bit." She just wanted to make sure that there weren't going to be any stragglers.
When Mot arrived, Lizzy's face lit up - although she did not leave Danny's side. It was too warm. Too warm and it felt so good. She did wave at him though, "And that is Mot!"
For some reason, she was almost expecting him to come with a mountain of scarves for everyone. So much disappoint.

Millie shuffled over towards the group, not wanting to intrude even though that's where she was supposed to go. Truthfully, she was really nervous about meeting others. She hadn't had much interaction with other races as Reapers tended to keep to themselves.
"I.. ummm..." she started too quietly. She looked at the flyer in her hand, hoping it would give her more information. "I hope I'm not late." she stated towards the group. Looking up from the flyer and spotting the ghoul with pink hair, she felt a wave of relief that she had found the right place.
There certainly was a large number of people gathered. "Are you all new?"

Verusha would glance up from time to time as others arrived to their growing group, giving a head nod in acknowledgement, whilst continuing to stroke her fire dog so as to keep him at bay. But the pleasant ghoul who'd greeted her initially had gained the lot of her attention with how friendly she was being, a chuckle rising out of her once more with the posed question, "Well I'm glad you can understand, then. And his name is Cannon." the dog's given a gentle manipulation of his head to turn towards Izzy, to show off his handsome face... though his glowing eyes barely crack open to look at the opposing ghoul, "You're free to pet him as well, if you'd like. His flames won't hurt you... right now, that is." she smirked. The dog's flames were at a subtle height, and were non-lethal for the time being, "he's a great heater for those cold days."
Ah, she had forgotten to introduce herself. Straightening up, a hand idly ran through the length of her mohawk's bangs, smoothing it out, "Name's Verusha. Can call me V, if you'd like. How long've you been here then, Lizzy?"
To the ghoul that'd just arrived, Verusha just barely heard her quiet voice, but grinned anyway, giving a nod in answer to her question, "Well I am at least. I dunno about everyone else here. Besides our host." a gesture is made towards Lizzy.

Mot smiled and waved at Lizzy and Danny, still clutching his cloak to keep the breeze from chilling him to the bone. "Hello, everyone." So these were some of the freshmen? Mot was more than happy to come and try and help Lizzy show the all around.
"Um, yeah, My name is Mot. I'm a third year, and a Grim Reaper. Pleased to meet you all."
Riyo hadn't even seen the flyers. Frankly, she wouldn't have been interested in such a thing anyways. The ghoul didn't like people, and she was certainly no new student, so what would've been the point?
But it just so happened the feline had been walking past the gate at just the right time. About to leave campus, Riyo paused and stared at the large gaggle of students. Most of them didn't even gain a second glance.
Huh. Lizzy was here. Mot was here. Xiu was here too. What was going on? More importantly, had it just started snowing?
Riyo's red eyes tilted upwards towards the sky, a combination of awe and horror quite apparent before she tugged her hood up and over her head. Here just in time to catch Mot introducing himself.
"What is this?" She asked Lizzy curiously as she approached. Alcoholics anonymous meeting? Protesting field trips? The possibilities were endless.

The baku was clearly relieved to hear that she was not late, and she returned Lizzy's hug with a small squeeze. Perking up at the familiar voice, Xiu turned to face Mori with a grin, lifting a hand to flutter her fingers at him in greeting. "Good morning, Mori! I'm glad you could come!" She beamed at the ghost boil, and then turned to glanced between the female reaper and the feathered boil. She began to bow to them, only to pause when something cold and white fluttered down in front of her. Before she knew it, there were more of these things falling from sky.
Oh...snow. Oh, no.
Her ears visibly drooped, but she still managed a small smile and a bow towards both of the other students as Lizzy introduced her. "It's nice to meet you both! I hope that you're enjoying Amity so far."
The female reaper's familiar received a smile and a wave--Xiu wanted to greet everyone--before she was distracted by the arrival of two more friends. At once, upon seeing Danny, the small ghoul sidled up next to the fire demoness to get warm. "Hi Danny! Hi Mot!"
She was definitely in agreement with Lizzy--getting indoors as soon as possible would be wonderful--but it seemed as if more students were showing up now. Perking up when Riyo arrived, the baku lifted a hand to wave, and then tucked it back into her pocket and went back to huddling beside the fire demoness. "Hello, Riyo! We were going to show some of the new students around the school!". Gaze sliding to Verusha, she offered the reaper a smile. "Ah, right! I'm a third year here as well."

His eyes carefully watched the female reaper caress the canine and he begins to shrink back. Ï don't.. want to touch. No thank you."But as he says this he remembers his fathers words and he grinds his teeth slowly. Taking in a deep breath, he opens his mouth to ask Verusha of her name. But he was too slow in asking. He saw the Pink haired ghoul had already asked them both.
Coughing to clear his throat, he says his name in a gruff voice. "It is Zephyros. Zephyros Arisken.."
So her name was Lizzy, the female reaper next to him is named Verusha. Then there were other boils who arrived.. and more ghouls. But they were all third years? His ears flitt in confusion and agitation. And then becomes more so agitated with the sight of snow. Last year he was safe and sound in his home, not having to worry about it-- but now? Now he's standing in the middle of some strange place with the cold things flowing down.
Without thinking he slowly bends down to the height of the flamehound and stares off at the other students. He peers at the dark boil. The one who emitts death. The very.. warm looking ghoul wearing ugly sweaters. The heat she's emitting seems to be more than the canine he's kneeling next to. Zephyros really wants to go over and just bask in that warmth, but his legs were nearly frozen in place already.
So he just hopes the dog doesn't attack him, thinking that Zephyros wants a fight, his eyes stay away from the dog as to not to challenge him. Instead they glance over at the rest of the students and notices they're beginning to move now. Hopefully his legs will start to move soon.

"Ohh, I see! Hi, Cannon," Lizzy smiled when the canine turned towards her, looking a little wary when she was asked to pet him. After a moment's hesitation, she decided to take Verusha's word for it, and reached out to give Cannon a pet on his head. Her smile grew when she realized that he really was as warm as he looked; she was almost reluctant to remove her hand, "This is my third year... Time flew by so quickly though! It felt shorter than that."
When Mot joined the group, she rushed to give him a hug, only to realize that his cloak was cold to the touch. Immediately, she retreated back to the ring of warmth around Danny; the heat emitting from her was probably the only thing stopping her teeth from chattering. Maybe the fire demon could have a 'who is the better walking heater' contest with Cannon one day... Hopefully while it's still snowing, so they can keep warm and roast marshmallows over both of them.
"Riyo! Hi! Are you joining us?" She was going to answer her question, but Xiu had that covered... So she just decided on looking hopeful, and there was something about the way she was currently staring and smiling at the ghoul that said 'please say yes or I will be very disappointed and sad, besides it will be fun'.
"Zephyros? That's a really unique name," She replied, "Aww, but Cannon's warm fur feels really good... Especially in this weather." Cold weather... Ew.
"I actually arranged for stop number 1 to be the gym, because I wanted everyone to meet Professor Red, our gym teacher, but I think we should go grab something warm to drink or eat first," She reached into the pocket on her skirt, pulling out a thin, extending metal rod which she promptly extended to its full length. On the end was a black flag with the Amityville symbol on it in white.
"Um, so... If you get separated from the group, just look for this," She pointed at the flag, hooked her arm around Danny's, and started to walk, "To the cafeteria!"
Her walking speed was surprisingly fast for someone whose legs felt like they were frozen; the fact that it was warmer indoors was just really motivating. In fact, within minutes, they were at the cafeteria, and she had let go of Danny to address the group.
"This is the cafeteria... Although most of you should have been here before," She chuckled sheepishly, clearing her throat, "Uh, anyway, it's run by lunch lady Ginger. She's really nice, and she used to run classes. It's been years since her last class, although she is available as mentor for year 3 students! Her food is pretty good... Although if you leave them alone for too long, they have the tendency to uh, come to life. Anyway, everyone go get a cup of hot chocolate! Or... Something else, if you're allergic to chocolate or dislike it."How can anyone dislike chocolate though?
If Danny minded the growing ring of students around her, she certainly didn't show any signs or say anything. Danny had always been the friendlier type- she liked being surrounded by so many people! If there was a heater contest, Danny wouldn't mind pulling out all the stops. Danny would hop on any opportunity to light things on fire. Fire was great.
Poor Xiu was nearly buried in all the snow, so Danny helpfully asked, "Uhhh, Xiu, you wanna ride?" She held out her arms and gestured to her back, intending to piggy back the ghoul. She'd completely forgotten that Xiu could just ride on her shoulders if she wanted.
Then Danny caught sight of the flaming dog. Dog. On Fire. Fire things.

"Puuuppyyyy," she said, all sparkly eyed. She was going to go pick it up and love it or something, but then Lizzy hooked her arm and they were off.
The hot chocolate made her frown. "Uhh ... Lizzy ... I can't um ... drink?" she said, face frowning. Lizzy seemed rather adamant about getting it though, so Danny paced forward and grabbed a cup, tail between her legs. Hot chocolate obtained, she just stood there awkwardly holding it, not really sure what to do with it.
Her eyes were still on Verusha's flaming dog though. Puppyyyy.

Verusha was beaming with pride as her darling Cannon was starting to become the star of attention. And why not? He was amazing, after all! she was amused by how Zeph was reacting to her assurance, reaching out and taking one of his hands to set onto the back of her pooch's head, "there you go." As Lizzy joined in, the reaper felt like a proud mama. The dog needed some socializing anyway. And what better way than through petting? So this ghoul was a third year, eh? She was the person to go to then it seemed like for the whats-what around here. So was Xiu, it seemed. A nod of acknowledgement was given on the matter, "So you guys rule the school then." she mused.
Cannon, on the other hand, was not too pleased to be lathered in all this attention, but tolerated it. His eyes closed completely to keep from sighing or growling in annoyance, allowing the students to have their fun... but the petting did do a lot to keep him from growing too irritated. And so he remained still, until V and the rest of the group started to move.
Verusha glanced over to the ghoul who'd yelled out, clearly talking about Cannon, making a grin lift onto the reaper's lips. Looking down at her partner, she rubbed at one of his ears, "Looks like you're going to be more popular than me, mister." she teased. She chose to walk alongside Zeph and not too far from Lizzy, for the other ghouls energy and the boils were both types she liked. Not too over the top. When they entered the cafeteria, she nodded slowly, already knowing where this was. And she wasted no time in picking up a cup of heated cocoa to sip at, glancing at the feathered boil to follow suit, "Good stuff."
Meanwhile, Cannon was staring very intensely at Danny who was staring at him. His face was neutral, but his eyes had narrowed slightly in the same way he'd inspected Zeph before; unblinking and undeterred.

"Showing them... Around school?" Riyo didn't really seem impressed. In fact, she gave the group another once-over with her slitted eyes before looking inbetween Lizzy and Xiu. "What, are you gonna hold their hands when they have to go potty too?" Momentarily the feline's hands left her pockets to rest on her hips with a very 'oh no you di'nt' sort of expression. Nevermind the fact that Riyo had forgotten it was a certain dragon who showed her around during her first weeks here, not some instinct or magical map that would allow her to keep the antisocial ways she'd grown up on.
"I will most certainly n-"

If there was one face that could make a sourpuss like Riyo bend... It was the one Lizzy and Xiu used as if it was an art form. ಠ_ಠ "Fine. But don't think for a second I'm going to put kid gloves on for freshmen."
For the trip to the cafeteria, Riyo remained a short distance behind with her arms folded across her chest. Whether it was to give a 'piss off' air to herself or because she was cold was hard to tell, unless you caught her shivering.
Chocolate, really? Always with the sweets.

He nearly jerks back at the feeling of the dog. And at Verusha touching his hand. Zephyros nearly pulled his hand away.. but the warmth of the dog stopped him from doing so. In fact, he just layed his hand there the entire time.. until Everyone began leaving.
The snow started gathering around his feathers, and he shivers uncomfortably. His purple eyes watch everyone moving forward.. it takes him awhile to stand up and follow suit. Though with the lack of the soft warmth from Cannon easily motivated him and his legs to get off of the ground and push forward.
His walk was a little shaky, but he stayed next to the female reaper during the walk to the cafeteria. And even when they get there and get the hot chocolate. He looks down into the cup, not sure what to think of it. He never really drank any hot flavored drink before. Plenty of cold ones, but not hot. But if Verusha said it's fine...
He focuses his question to Lizzy first. "This is hot chocolate? Is it just.. chocolate melted?" Slowly he puts the cup to his mouth to try and take a sip.
However Zephyros stops himself from drinking because of what Danny says. His brows furrow and wonders if something's wrong with the drink. "Why can't you drink it?"

Danny looked over at the quetzalcotl and looked down at the drink and back to him. "Err ... well I'm kind of a fire demon so ... we don't really drink things. It makes my stomach all upset and my FEAR kinda goes whooooooOOOOOoooo." Danny was a champion at explaining things.
She looked over at Lizzy and Xiu with pleading eyes. She really didn't know what to do with this cup. Hapl.

"Awww, they're just freshmen, not scarelings!" Lizzy giggled at Riyo because she was clearly being silly... Even if she did have the urge to mother everyone now, thanks to her, "Black coffee? Isn't that really... Bitter?"
Still, she did promise to get them whatever they preferred, so Riyo would soon find herself with a cup of steaming coffee that was as black as her soul.
"... Oh. Liquid! I didn't know that you can't drink things!" She actually didn't understand why Danny couldn't take it until she explained it to Zephyros; for some reason, she completely understood what the fire demon was trying to say. Taking the cup from her, she gave a thumbs up in an all too dramatic manner before drinking the whole cup in one gulp... While it was still hot.
She couldn't feel her tongue for a while after that, but it was worth it.
"It's melted chocolate mixed with sugar and milk!" She answered Zephyros with a smile, feeling much better now that her insides felt warm and toasty again, "Do you not get hot chocolate where you came from?" Halloween was a very big place, and not everyone grew up near the original Halloween town, so it felt like a possibility.

Although it had been quite chilly, Xiu soon found herself sticking firmly to Danny's other side as they were led to the cafeteria. The fire demoness' offer of carrying her was met with a grateful smile, but a little shake of her head. That was okay! She wouldn't want to weigh down the other ghoul, after all! ...Though if they had to go back out later, and assuming that she took off her pin and transformed back into her natural form...
Welp, no point in dwelling on that right now. The baku let a little sigh of relief as they finally found themselves somewhere warm. Moving forward, she grabbed herself a cup of hot chocolate, wrapping her hands around it and warming her frozen fingers up. glancing up at Danny's confusion, Xiu smiled and shook her head. "You don't have to drink it if you don't want to, Danny! Just hold the cup to warm your fingers up if they're cold?"
She finally lifted the cup to her lips to take a sip, her tail giving a pleased little swish at the sweet drink. Really, who didn't like chocolate? She flashed Lizzy a smile, and then turned to stare at Riyo with round eyes as the bakeneko was brought a cup a black coffee. "Wow--can you really drink that, Riyo? I usually have to drown mine in a lot of sugar and cream!"
Turning her gaze to Verusha, she nodded enthusiastically. "It's good, isn't it? It's perfect for a chilly day, but...to be honest, I didn't expect for it to suddenly start snowing. That's not...all that common here, usually." She turned to cast the windows a wary look, and then offered Zephyros an encouraging smile.
"Take a sip and see how you like it! It's okay if it's not your kind of thing, though!"
