"Ve are not sibling," Kostya replied, baffled by Dakota's turn of phrase. He frozen up as the other Moon dragged him along, directing him to an unfamiliar face in an unfamiliar office.
Nonetheless, Kostya went along with it, mostly because he wasn't given an option to do otherwise.
"Men," he echoed.
What had he gotten himself into?
Syntax Error chirped in his mind, merely spinning some abstract shapes in response to Kostya's incredulous thoughts. Clearly, the weapon in his brain couldn't give a damn. Literally. There were none to give.

Mark looked at Charlotte and then at Kostya, and then back to Charlotte. Okay one of these two had to be a virgin, and short of taking the whole Island with them in hopes that someone on this island had not had some sort of fun extracurricular activity - ahem - this was going to have to do. He sighed.
"Well, I hope your friend doesn't disappoint us. This is a secret mission, real secret and stuff. Your virginity depends on it..... dude." It occurred to the Death Assistant he had no clue who this guy was. For all that he knew, it could have been an alien who had abducted a Hunter and was now wearing their coat. Well, it better be a virgin alien. "Now, thankfully I have remotely accessed one of the portals to key in the coordinates, but we gotta do it hush-hush and stuff like a nin-" - he quickly stopped himself from using that word, holy crap. Last time he had said ninja, it had involved Allan, which had also involved Simon, which had also involved half of the Sun division, a good portion of Mists, for some reason a bunch of Moons, and ended up with everyone but him having fun. Oh god, never again. He really wasn't interested in half the island following, though it would probably guarantee the success rate but again, not interested.
Mark cleared his throat, folding up his tablet computer. "All right, gentlemen... and... lady, it is time to move out. Eye of the tiger. EYE. OF THE. TIGER."
The Death assistant gave the rest of the team one more look and then climbed out the window and slowly melted away. Charlotte on the other hand, seemed pleased that Mark had finally gone, giving Kostya a small wave as she locked and bolted every single possible window of the room just in case. Dakota just patted Kostya and smiled.
"You've been enlisted Kostya!" Whether he liked it or not. "And by brothers, I mean uh...same division and comrades in arm. Brothers."
Dakota looked at Mark and nodded.
"Okay, I've got a team in mind. Meet you at the portals." Then he looked at Charlotte and smiled. "See you on the field babe." and totally blew her kiss, wrapping his arm around Kostya while texting.
"So....Not interested in ladies Kostya? Or are you saving yourself?"iStoleYurVamps Text to Marcus: Mission at Portal. Promotion for me brother. Counting on you! Mark kept talking, stopping in the middle of his sentence, and then talking again.
Secret missions? Nins? Eyes of large felines?
Dazed, Kostya just waved at the nice girl in the Moon coat, jotting her name down on a mental sticky note: ask who she is, eventually, later.
Perpetually shellshocked, Kostya let Dakota guide him along, resisting the urge to throw the arm off of him. He was too close, and already he put him in the same "AVOID" category that Robert resided in.
"Not interested in anyone," he said, voice taking on an almost steely turn. "Period." It wasn't the complete truth, but it was the easiest to explain.
"Not saving self. Merely. Do not vant?"

For the first time ever, Molly was nervous about getting a text about being on a team for a promotion mission.
Why?
It came from Dakota.
Why was that worrisome?
Because the last time Dakota told her about a promotion mission of his…it involved taking off clothes.
All the nope.
Not that Molly would ever say that. Sadly. Plus it was a request from one of her most favorite people on the island so…not showing up was never not an option. She would just strongly wish that whatever this mission was, that it wouldn’t involve her taking off any of her clothes. Hopefully. Thus, Molly got a bag of general tools and items, and made her way to the portals.
She beamed at the two males as she approached, and was about to call out a greeting to both of them, and introduce herself to the new hunter, since she had never seen him before…
But she didn’t.
Instead, once she was close enough, she stilled and stared wide eyed at Kostya as he spoke.

-It was not often that Marcus was called on promotion missions. For one thing, he had a record for them going horribly. Much suffering, if mentally, emotionally, or physically. Frankly as a hunter he was somewhat done with them. But when Dakota’s text arrived, He stared at the screen. Last time? Last time it had landed him pretty much naked nearly touching Dakota. It had been awkward and then that picture that STILL was on the phones… Julie was gone sadly, but he just never knew. There HAD been a lot of assumptions made over that picture. Even after he’d gotten engaged too. But Marcus wasn’t going to leave Dakota out in the cold. He was his friend, his moon bro, and perhaps one guy who no matter what, Marcus knew he could count on 100%. If for whatever reason. For Dakota Marcus would do a lot of things. Including a promotion mission. [quote="Nyxtsuki Moon”]Text to Dakota: We’re keeping our pants on this time I hope. Arriving at the portal, coat, daggers, and one slightly concerned expression later, Marcus saw Dakota and Kostya and stared at Dakota. Just stared.
Then Molly got a hopeful look. "Please tell me you're also coming."

Dakota had been so flabbergasted by Kostya's words that once they were at the portal, it was only then he was like...
"Not even one person interest you? Like..Not even one?"
And then he whispered...
"Your not interested in sex?"
He said that so quietly and in disbelief that it was like his mind broke. Instead he needed something to distract him.
"Molly is coming with us Marcus." Dakota looked at Kostya ONE more time before looking at his friends. "Guys, Kostya. Kostya. The beautiful lady is Molly of the Mist division and Marcus of our division. Though pretty sure you've probably met Marcus."
Dakota finally looked at his phone before looking at Marcus.
"I don't know man." With three of the four members present...Dakota tucked his hands in his pockets and studied the team. "We're just waiting on Otto and then we can bounce.."

"The things I do for you... The things I do.." He muttered under his breath. Still he gave the other two a nod. "Nice to see you both again. With three moons... Well if anything it's likely we'll be making it home in one piece."

A promotion mission...was he even worthy to come along? Konstantin knew full well that he was practically fresh out of the pod. Some people acclimated very quickly to a new environment.
But Kostya did not. He spent most of his time in the Life Labs (when they let him in) or in his room shared with Mimsy, quietly reading. His fingers itched to go get the usual tools provided for missions, but instead, for some unknown reason, he stayed in Dakota's company.
He waved at the redhead, though, for she was staring, and it was only polite.
Then Dakota's questions were assaulting him once more, which only deepened his frown.
"Not...like that," he said, quietly, almost embarrassed about his choices. Konstantin had just never talked about it, really. He had assumed that most people were interested in finding a girlfriend or a boyfriend, and that was fine. Why were his interests-- none, primarily-- something shocking?
"I am not wanting to have sex vith anyvone--" was the Russian's last statement to Dakota, quiet and hushed, before Dakota introduced the others.
"I am Konstantin Bashmet. Moon." His introduction was brief, and he slowly edged away form Dakota, lest the man try to lay hands upon him again.
Again.

A mission was one way to stave off cabin fever, he supposed. With a sigh and a quick confirmation text, Otto was there.
Dakota, Molly, Marcus and Kostya. What a gaggle.
Otto managed a small nod towards the group as he arrived.

Molly was still staring at Kostya, as if she was waiting for him to do something, and managed a very distracted waggle of her fingers back at him. Goodness, she had lost her manners! It was the voice and arrival of Marcus though that temporarily snapped her out of the stupor she was in. “Oh, hello Marcus! Long time no see! It’s so good to see you again! Ah…yes!” She nodded her head. “I’m coming along!”
As introductions went around, Molly beamed and waved more enthusiastically this time. “It’s nice to meet you too, Kostya!”
Once again though, as the Russian Moon spoke, Molly’s hand slowly fell and she went wide eyed.
A dreamy sigh was then uttered.
Molly was in that stupor again, and didn’t even notice the arrival of Otto.

"It is a promotion for a moon." Dakota hesitated before looking at Kostya.
"Well alright but if you ever need help finding a lady...or guy." Dakota smiled and clapped him on the back. "Molly!" he practically fluttered over to the girl, tipping her chin up. Worry crossed her face as he mistook her stupor for something worse. "are you okay Sweet and Petite?" With the arrival of Otto though, the moon hunter was at the death's side and ruffling his hair.
"Thanks for coming Otto." Dakota looked at the group with a smirk and took a breath. "Alright, Otto. Kostya. Kostya. Otto. Intro's outta of the way, and the party assembled."
"Time to call Mark."

Mark was waiting for them all ninja-like at the lighthouse portal, though his excited expression did visibly drop when he saw the giant circus and a half that Dakota brought. Aw man, he thought this was supposed to be a bro thing. Who the invited these clowns? He sighed, running one hand through his hair. "Dakota man, you need to work on subtle next time. When I say super secret mission, I mean like, a super secret awesome booblicious mission that should be privvy to as little people as possible."
Charlotte was eyeing Mark with an expression that was as close to suspicion as she got, as if she just put two and two together that they were doing something not quite legal here, enough to put the Death assistant on edge, who quickly shoved some headsets into whomever was in range. "Okay, uh, put these on, I'll give you instructions. HAVE FUN! Bye now!" He practically shoved Dakota (and anyone in range) into the portal.
The other side of the portal was actually-
- A tourist trap. First of all, there were tourists. Second of all, there were tourists. At some point, it might have occurred to the trainees that they had literally been shoved into some portal taken to some location in broad daylight in front of hundreds of people, but these hundreds, most likely thousands of tourists all dressed up in strange, colourful garb from various nationalities were so strange they really did not pay the Hunter troupe any attention. At some other point, the Hunters might have also noticed they seemed to be standing on some sort of rocky outcrop, most of it simply worn out pieces of stone bleached white over time. A few monuments could almost be seen through the teeming masses of tourists: what looked like several old buildings, nearly collapsing, Greco-Roman in style complete with long cylindrical pillars and fading statues of potentially once-powerful dirties.
"... The sigil! Find the sigil of the chalice!" Mark's voice came out extremely washed-off from the other end. "Find a cup-like engraving on the ground!"
...What ground. OOC: LOOKING FOR THE ENTRANCE TO THE AREA - This area is seriously overrun with tourists. It is an ancient structure, but you can't see past the swathes and swathes of tourists. Roll a 100-sided dice and match your dice results to the below. As it is SUPER CROWDED, everyone will need to find the area on their own because keeping together is simply impossible in this area. Keep on rolling until you find the entrance! 1-20: Just as you think you see something, a few tourists shove past you and nearly step over you. 21 - 40: You feel someone brush into you and try to grab something in your pocket.... it is good thing you didn't leave anything in those pockets right41 - 60: Crowds of people push you away and you find yourself extremely lost. Everyone looks the same. Help? 61 - 70: A peddler keeps on trying to sell you little monuments of the acropolis. He also keeps on looking at you with this strange predatory gaze... 71 - 100: You found it! Now... to wait for everyone else.

"Believe me Mark. There could've been more bro's to take." Not counting Molly because she wasn't his bro. That was Clerise. But he wanted Molly to come along anyways for...Mist things. Because Mist only had females and he needed someone else to cover all the bases.
He gave Charlotte a big wide smile before he was pushed into the portal. "Bye Charlotte! We shall return to see your beautiful face soon darling." And stuck the headset on as the portal jumped them into...
A sea of people.
Literally a sea of people.
"Otto? MARCUS? KOSTYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Dakota was literally being pulled by the forces of the people, like a lone salmon trying to swim upstream. "MOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY"
Instead he was failing horribly.
Luckily enough, he managed to grab one hand of one of the other hunters...and by the look of it...it was Kostya. Oh good. He didn't lose the most important member of the team. THE VIRGIN. DUN DUN DUNNNN~
"Yo Otto, Marcus, Molly. This headset communicate with you guys?" He spoke into it...hoping to hear the others. "Kostya, Do not let go of my hand bro. BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN, IF YOU LET GO OF THIS HAND OKAY DUDE? I NEED YOU, NOT TO LET GO OF THIS HAND OKAY?"
At the mention of a cup like engraving, Dakota looked down and saw a big fat toe of a tourist as he was pushed and passed around like a keg at a underage party. Meaning, he was picked up, put down, rolled over, sat on...did someone try to sniff his hair?
AND HE DID NOT LET GO OF KOSTYA'S HAND...

Kostya was baffled by Molly's reactions, and assumed she was...afflicted with something. Maybe she felt faint? He made a mental note to ask her later, after this very confusing mission was over.
The Russian spared her one last careful look, debating the merits of asking her right then if she needed assistance-- but Dakota, of course, had words. "I vill be sure to let you know," he said, nose scrunching up at the thought.
He was pretty sure the day he asked Dakota for assistance in finding someone to couple with would never come. Not in a million years.
Mark babbled in the earpiece, but Kostya was shoved through a portal and swept away, except for that PESKY HAND that at first encircled his wrist then clasped his fingers, an awful feeling, surrounded by bright sun and tourists and---
"Let go!" he pleaded, trying to yank away, his stomach flip flopping. Too much contact, too many people, this was so many levels of not okay!
"Qvit yelling! Ack!" He pulled his hand away, panic rising in his throat. Without thinking, Kostya moved blindly, dashing away from the crowd-- finally.
Kostya fell to his knees out of the crowd, knees smacking the pavement painfully. But the ache was good; it grounded him, brought him back down from his near panic-attack.
There was a chalice carved into the ground beneath him.
"I have found it," the Moon hunter said into his headpiece, shaking his head slightly. "The sigil. It is carved, to the ground, here."
