It is a grande party with presents and singing and music--it is wonderful!" Terra said, her silvery eyes gleaming happily. "They celebrate it at home every year! We break out la maracas and the lights and we give each other presents! But--" She paused, frowning, "I am not home," she admitted.
Roch frowned, watching Terra closely. Then he dug in his pocket, pulling out a candybar--one he hadn't even opened yet--and handed it to her.
She stared at him blankly. Then said, quite blandly, "It is not wrapped, nor is it Christmastival." But she pocketed it. "I have not seen snow before," she went on, chattering at Lumikki as if that episode hadn't happened. "Is it that frio--cold white stuff outside?"

"I feel exactly the same way!" Terra said. "It is so pretty! Yet it is so cold and wet--" she was practically bouncing by this point, excited that she had made a new friend, when Roch poked her and glanced at Lumikki again.
"I gotta warn y'both about somethin' in this class," he said. "DO NOT kill any of the bugs. Y'see a bug in here, y'treat it like a queen, got it?" The he turned to the front, yawned loudly, and crossed his arms over his chest to take a short nap before class started, his chin resting on his chest.
"... bugs?" Terra repeated blankly. She gave Lumikki a confused look. "Do you know about the bugs?" she asked the other ghoul. "Wait, elf?" she asked blankly. "I did not meet an elf! What was he like?"

There weren't many classes Alexander would opt to skip out on, and there was no way in hell he was going to miss this one. He was very much aware that he was now dating the nurse's adopted son. He was also very much aware that there was a very good chance that she would not approve of him, but he would try his damnedest to make sure he did all he could to impress her.
And that meant showing up to her classes, promptly, actually on time for a change. That also meant hoping to Jack that he was able to complete her course and any homework provided to the utmost standard he was able. Really he had no idea if she even knew that he and Yin were together, but it would be best at this point to assume that she did, and to just...do his best, because really that was all he could do.
As he shuffled in nervously, pale eye flickering to the instructor before having a look at the available seating, he did notice several familiar faces throughout the classroom. Normally he likely would have headed to a seat near his zombro, or possibly even Belladonna, but today he wanted no distractions. Besides, either of them looked to be busy chatting with somebody else, as did most of the others. So, he found himself a seat, somewhere near the front but not too close, easing himself down into the chair and letting his long legs stretch out in front of him, reaching up to run his fingers through his hair as he often did when feeling slightly anxious, and waited for the class to begin.
