Little Ame Night As for permanent death... I'm more inclined to a level drop punishment personally, though that's from a different manga/anime/novel (1/2 Prince), that's just me personally though.
And finally the rules and etiquette, I'll chuck up the obvious in this post as I think of it. (I'll edit new stuff in) Why not instead use a experience drop like in Maplestory rather than an entire level? After you die a small percentage of the experience or words you've accumulated will be erased. An entire level drop might put people at a slight disadvantage and we dont want to discourage anyone.

A drop seems fair. At lower levels dying and dropping a level isn't too bad. However when we get to higher floors that require more EXP to level up, dropping a level can be devastating.
Perhaps a 10%-25% drop?

Health Points: [ 250 / 250 ] | [ 350 / 350 ] No. If you want this to be decent and get DECENT rpers in here, no. That is a HUGE turn off to many people.

If it's used explicitly I think it would turn a lot of people off. However, I plan to have the HP, along with a vast majority of the numbers within this universe, to be merely used as a reference and not as a black and white law.
For example, a starting player of 250 HP could challenge and potentially beat a slightly more experienced 400 HP player even with a weaker damaging weapon if it's RPed correctly if you get what I'm saying. Damage done isn't going to be the kind where you generate a random number and then subtract, then repeat over and over until HP drops to zero.

Im not that helpful with these situations >.> ill just give my opinion in the end

I feel like HP is a huge deal in this universe. Much more so than in any other, just because of the story behind the game. You especially have to consider the difference between a LVL 1 Character being 250 and a LVL 96 Character being 18,500 meaning something.
On top of all this, there are also skills and equipment that provide HP regeneration which (as shown by Kirito in the anime) can prove to be game breaking against weaker opponents as the damage they output would be lower than the amount of HP regenerated.
All this being said, I absolutely don't plan on making this a Guild where we have to rely on number generators or dice to equate damage. I feel the honor system works just fine when everyone is at similar literacy levels and can dictate how much damage their character should sustain or not depending on the situation and their skills as a role player. Like I said before, nothing set in stone, more like a reference.

1. I think instead of restricting people from dual wielding, we should add it as a sort of 'Perk' to be something earned in the RP.
Perks would be abilities earned based upon numerous factors, some could be quest earned (such as; armor pierce, Flash Dodge, Heavy Hitter, Regenerate, Deadeye Shot, etcetra.) This is up for debate obviously.
2. The monsters, We have monsters, we also need people to make sure that people aren't randomly 'spawning' and fighting with high level monsters outside of their respective levels.
I propose we design lists of the monsters available to be found on each level along with a brief description of each, detailing their stats and drops.
3. Hi, I'm new here, what's up?

3. Hi, I'm new here, what's up? 1. Dual Wielding along with a few other skills are considered Unique Skills. Something a single character has that defines them and no one else has. I understand wanting to be able to dual wield, but we'll see where it goes and how strict I decide it needs to be.
2. Monster lists will be compiled and found in both the Bestiary Section and for every Floor.
3. Welcome to the Guild. I'm your friendly neighborhood captain, you can refer to me as "Ty" as most do. Pleasure to meet you.

Perhaps a 10%-25% drop? Yes that will be acceptable. True at lower levels dying might not be so bad, but at higher levels its totally not okay.
PC: "Alright I went and grinded for several hours straight to level up!" /monster kills PC: "What. No. WHAT." /proceeds to uninstall

Hello everyone, I just joined today and look forward to rping with you all. I have seen a bit of the anime and am continuing on them, but in the mean time i have a freind who read the novels and what not and is currently all cought up on the anime so i will always know. I already see a few things i'd like to discuss...and that being the cluster f*** that will occur when cramming 10 floors together. I've seen this happen several times, mainly with pokemon roleplays cramming an entire region into one subforum. i'm thinking you'd need a bunch of locations at witch to train and things like that. shops, towns...dungeons...idk places to play.

Welcome! The thought did occur to me, but the combination of 10 Floors in a Thread is mainly due to the number of Threads the Guild has available. Since I don't really have Gold to throw around and add more Threads; and I don't really wish to request money from my Guild members we'll have to make due.
In my mind I hope it won't get too crazy since we are going one Floor at a time. and the first few areas in Floor 1 are: - Town of Beginnings - - Black Iron Castle - - Monument of Life - - Room of Resurrection - Floor 1 Dungeon - Floor 1 Boss Room - Tollbana Town - - Fountain Square - Horunka Village - Vast Grasslands - Verde Forest - Lake Primero - Aincrad Mountains
A Total of 9 threads... Subsequent Floors will probably be the same... Er... Ugh. It probably will get a little clusterfl---ed, but we'll see with how it goes when Beta goes active.
