The fact that he was apologizing to her when he was the one wrong told her that pride may not have been an issue here, and she wondered how such a truly kind and possibly oblivious person could exist in this world, and how she could try ciphering some of that good mood for later. "Don't worry about ruining my shopping experience. It's likely the most interesting thing that happened all day, as bad as that may sound. Thanks, you know... for cheering me up and helping me keep a semi-cool head and not attacking that guy."
Gwen meant every word of that and she hoped that he'd someday realize just how hard it was for the girl to overcome her own pride to admit such a thing. At the notion of them meeting again, she had managed to grab one of the few clean napkins she had left and trying to write down her name and phone number on it, using a spare pencil she brought on the off chance she had the chance to sketch. "Here, maybe we can do some shopping later. Here's my number, so call me whenever you feel like hanging out."
Gwen gave him a pleasant smile, at least as pleasant as the normally rough and tumble girl could muster. Not wanting to waste anymore of his time, or the store employee's, she waved and left the store. Her desire to shop today was ruined, but in the very least she got to meet the one shining light that existed in this sometimes mad, mad world... that was much better than anything money could buy.
Well, except a really good video game...
