"Really, what comics?" Sha asked as he darted out the door, one wing flailing to lend him balance as he scooped up the last box and brought it over to him. "I don't read them but that's only because there's so many story arcs and rewrites and stuff that I get lost even before I start." He set the box down on Blake's bed.
"And yeah badass amazon women. Leather and animal skin clothes. Yeah." He gave an unrepentant grin.

The unrepentant grin and the comment about leather and animal skin clothes zoomed totally over Blake's head. He gave Sha a slightly puzzled look before starting on opening his boxes.
"Yeah? That's true they do wear those." Blake opened a couple boxes before he found the one he was looking for. He started carefully pulling out some comics. "Um... I read just about everything." A sheepish grin spread on his face. "But you're right it can be hard with all the story arcs, but keeping up with them and learning about new ones is part of the fun." The comics made a neat stack on the bed.
"If you wanted sometime I could help you figure out what you'd want to get into?" A slightly hopeful tone crept into his voice.

Sha pouted to himself as his comment soared over Blake's head. "Sure I'd be up for that, I generally like to read. Need anymore help unpacking?" He asked then paused. Crud. He'd missed a pair of his boxers while cleaning up earlier. He could see them hanging out under Blake's bed. Seriously, how did they grow legs and wander off when he's not looking? "Er, hold on, I missed something when I was picking up earlier. I swear I'm not that messy..." He said, diving to grab the wayward shorts.

Blake watched Sha dive slightly under the bed.
"It doesn't seem messy in here at all." He shrugged a little. "I'm not really much of a neat freak about anything. I do like to keep my comics in nice condition though." He peered around, considering the rest of his boxes.
"I don't think I really need help with the unpacking. Though I guess you could help with that box if you really wanted." He nodded over to one of the boxes. It had some posters of super heroes in there and also a picture of him, his dad, and his dad's girlfriend in there along with some other odds and ends.

Sha wormed his way back from under the bed. "Good, I'm glad you're not a neat freak like Trae." he rolled his eyes but with a smile. "I'm generally not a slob, but I swear, my boxers grow legs or something. I find them in the weirdest places." He chucked the irritating boxers into his dirty clothes bin.
Going over the box Blake indicated he started pulling the posters out. "Oh cool, we can hang these. I think I have some poster putty somewhere." He unrolled them to look closer. Super heroes huh, well whatever. When he got to the frame with Blake's humans in it he paused and stared for a few seconds. "Hey, this your dad and his girl?" He tried to reign in his automatic sneer. He wanted Blake to like him. "They're, uh nice looking?"

It pleased Blake that Sha was cool about the posters being hung up. He kind of eyed the boxers as they were thrown with some trepidation though. Hopefully those didn't end up under his bed all the time. When Sha asked about the picture he went over closer to look.
"Oh yeah, that's Crow," he pointed to his dad. "and that's Clover." Despite Sha reigning in his sneer, Blake could still sense something amiss. He wondered what that was about. "Yeah they're pretty nice or well... I don't know Crow is quiet and has trouble expressing himself but still nice? Clover is really nice and friendly which is a little annoying in a way. She's always encouraging me to get out more and talk to people... I know she means well but still annoying." He gave Sha a small sheepish smile. "I can be a little reclusive I guess..."

"Oh man, another reclusive one? You and Trae are like the same person, only not." He said with a swift grin. "Well here's your picture, you can put it wherever." Sha didn't really care where he put it. As long as it wasn't on his side of the room, or somewhere he'd have to stare at the happy family. "As for this poster. I think it should go over here." He picked up the poster, unrolled it and put it up against the wall with a questioning look. "What do you think?"

Taking the picture from Sha, Blake looked at it a moment before putting it on the bed. He wasn't sure where he'd put it. It wasn't something he packed and it seemed likely Clover may have snuck it in. He turned his attention to Sha though.
'Yeah I think that one looks good there." Smiling a little he started pulling his clothes and things out of a box and moving them into his closet. "But yeah I guess that's why me and Trae get along, we get each other or something." Blake paused, holding up a shirt that was definitely not child size. Seemed like one of Crow's shirts had gotten mixed in. He sighed a bit before taking it back over to his things and starting to fold it up. Upon further reflection he grabbed the picture and wrapped that up too. Keeping pictures of him and his family around at school just wasn't his style.

Sha was glad to see the picture being wrapped up in the too big shirt. "Well I think it's good you two get along. Trae doesn't have enough friends." As if Sha knew what was best for him.
"And you probably don't either, if you're like him. I'll have to fix that. Though if you're gonna woo Trae I'm gonna have to warn you that he's like a brother to me and I'll kill you if you hurt him." He took a peek over at Blake with a teasing smile to watch for reactions.

Blake froze in the middles of hanging up one of his shirts and his eyes went wide.
"Wait... what?" He dropped the shirt he was holding and stared at Sha. "I'm... wooing Trae?" Had Trae said something to Sha without him realizing it? Why would Trae even thing that and... wow Blake was feeling utterly confused.

Sha laughed happily. Excellent. "No, or at least if you are I don't know, it was just the way you said you 'get each other' or somthing." Another few stray giggles. "Calm down it was just a joke. Not that there'd be anything wrong if you did like boys instead of girls. But I really was just teasing you."

Blake just looked even more confused.
"Wait what do you mean about liking boys....Aren't.... aren't boys supposed to like girls?" This really was on a level Blake hadn't even thought about or explored at all. He didn't think much about romance other then the stuff that occurred in his comics, and even then he kind of skimmed over those bits.

"Well from what I've seen," said the red haired expert, "it doesn't really matter. I've seen boys liking boys, and or girls. And girls liking boys and or other girls." Sha was one of those kids that one inevitably meets when young, that seems to know ten times as much about adult matters then everyone else and as a result makes everyone else feel inferior. The nice thing about Sha, was that he didn't do it on purpose.

"Er... uh ok...." Blake was feeling a bit uncomfortable now. "Guess I'll take your word for it or.... something...." He searched vainly for a topic change frowning heavily. Nothing came to mind so he just bent over and picked up his shirt and frowned at that instead. While Sha was one of those kids who was more then happy to foray into adult topics, Blake was only really comfortable firmly in the realm of his age group. He wasn't really ready to to dip his toes into the adult pond yet.
"So...have you...been in the dorm long?" His voice went up a bit in tone as he spoke, as if he was pleased with himself for finally thinking of something to say.

"Feels like I've been in the dorm forever." Sha said smirking to himself about Blake's reaction to adult things (while resisting thinking about the time he wasn't in the dorms). Hilarious. What a funny kid. "But occasionally it feels like a short amount of time. You'd be surprised how easy it is to meet people, but it's also really hard to do at the same time. It's a big campus."
