Melvin gave a shrug. "Any girl friend who might be cool with you crashing at their place or coming over to your room for a few days or longer." Isn't that what girls liked - flocking in groups and having sleepover parties? Even his sister loved having friends over to talk or was visiting someone.

Rin frowned deeply. ********, she couldn't ask Sasha to do that.... could she? Hmm... She held a hand up at Melvin, "Hang on, my cell is in the duffel."
She scurried up to him and fished her phone out. She poked a few buttons warily before firing off a swift message.

She hit send then smiled at him, "I hope she says yes, but if not... you're the only other person I can think of."

He smiled, waiting. "If she's your friend, I'm sure she'll say yes. It's not like we are all doing anything too urgent." He came off as sounding reassuring, or so he hoped. Right now he was mentally kicking himself for mentioning it, not sure how he could deny Rin a few days in her room or staying with her if Sasha couldn't help out.

Rin wasn't so sure. There were many reasons for why not and it made her almost sick to her stomach, "Yeah... just... will see." She tried to tamp down her own hope to turn around and make plan B.

Damn. Double Damn.
Melvin tried not to show how nervous he was, but knew he just placed himself in a corner. "Well, ...I guess....I mean if she says no.....though it might be weird since your a girl and I'm a guy. I'm not exactly better than having a girl friend stay with you." He was trying, oh how he was trying.

Rin was about to press further when her phone chimed in with a new message. Rin smiled big and looked back to Melvin, "She said yes!" Saved by Sasha Melvin. This time...

He hid his relief, but was tossing confetti in his brain. "That's good. See. Let's walk to her dorm." He told her, and opened the door to finally let her out of this room.

"Okay!" That's okay Melvin, Rin was mentally tossing confetti too. She was more than eager to finally get out so didn't need the exit offered twice. She was already a few paces ahead.

Melvin followed behind, catching up with her as he adjusted the duffel bag. "Should we stop in your room the pick the things you need and then go to her room?" There was no way she could carry her own things at the moment, not when she was still weak, bruised, and tender. Even with one side bandaged, the other side wasn't stellar either. It was best if he could just take all that she needed to Sasha's room. He knew where she lived after all due to delivering a rose.

"Everything I need, you're already holding," Rin offered a fleeting smirk back at him. He held her whole world in that simple duffle bag. Every need, every want, all of it compartmentalized. Rin was a fairly simple woman.

He looked at what little he was holding and just guessed that girls would just...share clothes and other necessities. Right? They shared a lot didn't they? "Ok." He then lead her to Sasha's room.
