Ndoto nodded and let Ngoma lead the way, the lantern around her neck helping to brighten their path in the dusky light. Finally the calls became clearer and, if he squinted, he could make out a shape against the dark rocks. "Over there! That's where it's coming from," he said excitedly. They had found them! Ah, it was so perfect! Just as Mwokoti had said. "We're coming!" he called out, jumping a little with glee. "We're almost there!"

"We may have to carry her again."
Csoa's words were not what wiped the smile of Mtembei's face, but rather the truth in them. Nantale was still not in good shape. Her body had more or less healed, but spectral wounds haunted her. They were in desperate need of some kind of mind-healer.
He had always been the more nurturing of the two, so he fell back from the front and went to his daughter. He gave her a nudge and got little in the way of response.
"I think you're right," he agreed woefully. "Just help me get her on my back--"
"Don't be ridiculous," Kitambi cut in. "You're too old to carry her. Mwokoti will be able to."
But as the group neared them, Kitambi noticed the Goddess was not among them. No matter. They had young males that could handle the burden of carting around her crestfallen daughter. Once they were safely back in the Nchi lands, they could properly tend to her.
When the trio was close enough, Kitambi ushered them into the den. Though cramped, it had enough space for all.
"Thank you," she said first and foremost.

[I want to apologize a million times over for not getting to this sooner, finals ate me up. And I didn't get any quote notifications until this last post @_@)
Kirja had been keeping up with the group the best she could. The adventure in the rogue lands was a little confusing to her. Not only that but she also was trying not to get lost or too distracted with the different things. When she could though she tried to help the best she could with the mission that they were on.
She was excited though when the finally reached their destination. It was nice to see the familiar faces of the lions that they were looking for. Kirja stayed in teh back as she was walking however she paused as she looked at the group, it was extremely exciting for her to see them and see them alive, and what appeared to be mostly well. She smiled at them and exchanged a nod. "Hello there!" She normally was cheery, she was hoping that she wouldn't upset anyone but regardless she was excited. Her tail was flicking around behind her as she stood there. "I can help if needed!" She insisted, she was pretty strong, and she had also was triyng to stay as useful as she could because of her little knowledge of the roguelands.

Ndoto looked around in surprise as they were ushered into the cave. There were quite a few lions in here - none of whom he recognized, obviously - and he was surprised at just how many had been lost. He kept a smile on his face, though, the map still tucked behind his ear for safe keeping. "I'm glad we found you all! It took a lot less time than what we were expecting," he added, nodding to each lion in order. He knew these were very important lions he was talking to, from the pride before he arrived, and he didn't want to make a bad impression. "We're ready to lead you home," he added, flashing a wide grin.

To a stranger, first impression of Kitambi was likely she was eerily aloof. After her initial thank you, she fell silent.
In contrast, Mtembei responded to Ndoto with enthusiasm. "That's good to hear. I hope the journey wasn't too much of a bother. My name is Mtembei. This is my mate, Kitambi, the Malenga. And our daughter, Nantale, the future Malenga. Please forgive her for her silence. She's been through a lot."
Mtembei did not introduce his daughter's two saviors. He wasn't sure how. "Csoa, Hanyu, if you could help with Nantale I would --"
Suddenly, Nantale rose to her paws, albeit unsteadily. "I'm ready to go home." It was the first thing she had said in her parents' company since the flood.
The relief was clear on Mtembei's face. "Alright. Let's go, everyone."
((OOC:: Anyone is welcome to post one last time if they feel like it, but otherwise, declaring this finished. <3 An ORP will be in the Nchi subforum later and the three Nchi involved in helping will be graciously rewarded for their efforts.))
