The feeling of Zia's breath against his neck caused a tingling sensation down his spine, reminding him of situations that weren't exactly appropriate for being strangled in an alley... or maybe they were. Either way, it solidified the idea that it really was hopeless to think of anyone as threatening when you've seen them naked. If anything, her nasty attitude killed anything real quick.
"I'm not ******** anything," he stated rather coyly, obviously messing with her. Maybe it wasn't a good idea but maybe she should stop playing with things that could kill her. Youma, 6'1" DMS with unknown magical spheres of doom, and probably spiders. It was around now that the belt tightened rather abruptly, causing him to gasp unpleasantly before she loosened it. He couldn't imagine Zia killing him, and perhaps that would be a downfall tonight.
Her questions following this brought him to a dark place. He knew a lot of things about her and he could really mess with her but was he really in a good position to? Probably not.
"What could a dog possibly know that'd be of any interest to you?"

Zia had the physical control, but he had her mental faculties in the palm of his hand with the amount of secrets he knew. Not the one she was worried about, but he knew enough, and he was still toying with her.
Her breathing pattern blatantly gave away how worked up she was getting. She had been oozing fear at first, but it was slowly being replaced with rage.
"Well. I guess if any more people I love end up dead, I'll know which creepy ******** opened his big mouth," She snapped and pulled hard. And didn't let it loosen this time. "You're not telling me anything. You're not saving yourself, and I don't want to look at your face anymore. I got out from under the b***h's thumb before, I'll get out again." He had a free hand to motion for her attention with, but he needed to know she meant business. Or maybe he just teased her too much and she couldn't take it anymore.
And if he never got the picture, she wouldn't lose any sleep over him.

Leaving his hand free to motion her had been a big error on her half. For someone who prided herself in taking advantage of situations, this had been a gross miscalculation. All he needed was one hand and she had so gracefully proved him with just that. In a matter of seconds, his hand flew up to his throat, latching onto the belt so that what he did next wouldn't choke him to death. With her behind him attempting to use the belt to gain leverage, Sailor Orpheus used the weight of his body pressing against the ground and her weight against him to knock her over.
A smile like a predator came across his face entirely for show as the belt loosened automatically around his neck as he straddled over her. He really hated to do this but for ******** sakes, if she wanted to submit her dominance over him and try and show him who was boss then she had another thing coming. He was only out here for her and literally she just kept attacking him when he'd down nothing wrong. She needed a lesson in manners and he thought he was the best senshi to give it.
He wasn't going to be naive about it this time though, pinning her down over her stomach so there was no way she could play dirty and kick him while his hands held both of her arms down.
"Now," he said slowly. "There are two ways we can proceed with this. We can do this your way which is going to be incredibly painful for you, or we can do this my way which doesn't involve you ending up with all your fears coming true. Now since I am certain you are going to pick your way since you haven't even considered for once that I might actually not be out to ruin your life I am going to live up to your expectations." He was smiling, maybe a little too much. "May I remind you that you've brought this on yourself because I had only the best intentions when I arrived here prior to this. The options for your way are as follows: I can send you to the hospital with several broken bones and leave you for your father to find you, or I can pull dear, sweet little Pascal into this world you love so much."
Oh, oh the irony. It pained him to say such disgusting things but b***h, you tried to suffocate him with a belt.
"Or you could play nice but you have failed my expectations thus far so I am not going to get my hopes up here. So, what will it be?" He just knew too much, way too much. Maybe it was time she needed to consider her options here. Double agent or not was better than simply an enemy who knew all about your brand new life.

Zia knew she had lost it before she had even been bucked off. She got too over emotional and she couldn't pin it down exactly, but she had made a grave misstep. She took her eyes off his free hand, she shifted her weight, she pulled too hard. One of these, all of these, either way, she was on the ground now and even though her long legs gave some instinctive kick, she was stuck.
In an ironic way, this gave her the opportunity to catch her breath, which hadn't been even since he let loose the fact he knew her name.
Between deep, stabilizing oxygen intake, she listened to his threats with narrowed eyes, almost studying his smile. Actually, she was totally studying him. He knew a lot. He knew a terrifying amount that showed just how long he'd been stalking her. But when he listed off her worst fears, he forgot the biggest one.
He didn't know. Well... he didn't know that, but oh god, this guy had been following her. And the intensely disturbing thought of this peeping tom observing her 'activity' with Pascal made her nauseous.
And then something came full circle and clicked. Yes, this was a familiar position. This was being under Painite's spear, under Ares' grip on her throat. The corners of her mouth twitched back up to the faintest hint of a forming smile.
And when she looked at the marks she'd left on his neck, that smile came so much easier. And she laughed at him like this situation was funnier than all hell. "What's it going to be? Seriously?" At first it sounded like the build up to something she knew but he didn't. But nope.
"Oh come on baby, why go through the effort? I am so tired of all the subterfuge. Here, I'll make you a deal, you can just kill me and we'll both get out of tonight scott ******** free, kay?" She antagonized him further by blowing him a kiss. "Come on, you know you want to. b***h, I got you good, you gotta want to get yours. There's a a knife in my shoe, you're totally free if your sphere is s**t." She said it with laughter, like it was joke, but she had already pushed one shoe off with the other foot.
She had no idea why her reaction to being under fire was antagonistic joking around. Suicide by senshi, maybe? Maybe she thought he'd have no reason to bother Pascal if he just took her out. And the thought of Ares' reaction to this guy being the one to take out Zirconia just made it sound like a delicious plan B. Of course living was plan A, but it was a secret plan A.

He watched, he listened, and he smiled. He knew it wouldn't go easily because she wanted to be some tough s**t. It was so depressing. He was putting up a brave face but the woman he pushed all his fears aside for seemed to be hiding behind this defensive structure that seemed hell bent on flipping him the bird and then hitting him over the head with anything within reach. It wasn't very long since Pascal had been with Zia but he already missed it. He hated this world, this war he'd been dragged into. He just wanted to help her but somehow his existence pissed her off so greatly. He couldn't imagine just what had happened but he knew one thing: Ares had a lot to do with it.
"Forget it," he sounded exhausted. It was a mistake. It was all a mistake. He never should have bothered any of this. It was clear there was no room in that heart for his troubles and he was going to get himself killed and only cause her more pain when Pascal never showed up again. He wasn't simply going to leave like that though, sliding his hand down her leg until he took the knife out of her boot. He was sure the minute he turned his back she would stab him with this, so he was taking it.
"Unlike you," he said, holding the knife above her like he was considering how to cut her. "I'm not a bad guy here. Perhaps you should consider that."
It was the last thing he said before he left her, taking off into the darkness of the alley before she could chase or say anything that would keep him behind. He had her knife, and her belt, and this wasn't at all kinky. So depressing, so disappointing and worst of all tomorrow Zia was going to knock on his door like nothing happened and he wasn't sure if he could just forget all this because it did happen.

Zia quirked an eyebrow when he hovered over her with her own knife, grin still present and growing in anticipation. Except he didn't do anything and he took it and left. She felt disappointed, oddly enough. Like he gave up. He was a terrible villain.
She sat up when he got off of her, but made no attempt to get on her feet or scramble after him. In fact she was replacing the cigarette she lit earlier with a new one, since that other one ended up wasted, smoldering on the ground while she had him pinned.
"You might be ignorant as all ********," She said while she worked on getting it to light in the cold November air. "But you're right about one thing. I am definitely the bad guy," She cackled at his back and shook her head when he was entirely out of sight.
And then she just sat there, arms leaning on her knees while she smoked and seriously considered who to check up on first.
