Annoyingly enough, a third voice called out to the Shrine Maiden, one coming from a strangely energetic monk-looking youkai. She seemed to want an audience with Reimu as well, and spoke as if the two had met before. Had they? The shrine maiden thought for a moment, but quickly dismissed the idea of thinking about it - obviously the youkai hadn't caused too much trouble if Reimu didn't remember her, so she must not be all that bad.
The strange little youkai then mentioned something called a "Joybun"...Oh, that's right!
"Contrary to popular belief, I actually can fend for myself, Ms. ...er, Hanalli was it?" Reimu said, taking a step or two out of the shrine's door. "But a piece of bread won't help the upkeep of the shrine, hm? I need money for fixing things, because whenever Youkai like you three come around, something always gets broken..." She glanced at the donation box placed squarely at the center and top of the main set of steps. Given her current track record, there probably wasn't more than a few coins inside. "They say 'it's the thought that counts', but even thoughts can't fix broken wood or materials. I've already lost more and more followers ever since the Moriya Shrine opened, and then Hijiri and her group moved into the human village, and then the Taoists . . ." Her list of complaints went on, numbering higher than the amount of fingers she could count upon!

In the distance, away from the Hakurei shrine, in the Myouren temple, Byakuren's ears began to burn a little. She looked to the door of her temple and gave a concerned look. "Hello?" She called. "Did someone say my name?" No one answered her. She shrugged it of and went back to what she was doing in her temple.
Mizuki looked to Hanalli out of the corner of her eye. "It doesn't really matter who did what or not, Reimu just wants you gone." She then looked to Rekinna, who prepared herself to fight. Mizuki grinned and gripped her scythe tightly. "Alright then." She grabbed her scythe with both hands, lifted it over her head, and slashed it forwards, sending two blades of wind upwards at Rekinna. She then dashed to her left, off of the shrine, and threw her hand outwards as she did, creating gold, silver, and copper coins which flew at Rekinna at a slower pace than the wind blades.

Hanalli puffed her cheeks up. "Well excuse me for trying to lighten the mood around here! And next time you throw away a joy bun like that, Reimu, I will have to- huh?" The black patch shot some weird black tendons to restrain Hanalli as a tall male like being with a long white coat covering his shadow black body from the neck down. He gave a smile. Hanalli. I think you need to heed her words now." He then flung Hanalli out of the shrine area and speeding in another direction. He watched as he saw the Joy fly off. His tendons clear as day from his back as they looked like some sort of bladed wings. "Now that the Joy has left this shrine, I must give my deepest apologies to the Priestess of Hakurei." For Reimu, she already knew who it was (explained in an archive) and did not phase much when he is around. For newcomers, this Youkai seemed to have a weird black cloud below where he stood. The fact with claws on his back made his presence seem threatening than before. "Hanalli tends to get a bit annoying from time to time. Being a Youkai of Joy also entitles her to be the Youkai of being way too happy." he turned an eye to the Shinigami, His lenses reflecting any fear the Shinigami had if she looked back at him. Almost a greeting card. Sadly, Reimu is far from done with the Emotions that would appear here...

"You plan on hitting my Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird with that?" Rekinna did a barrel roll to the side and then ascended to an altitude of around 150m above the ground. Then dived while sending RPG and AK rounds at Mizuki. Though danmaku/conjured rounds are significantly slower than real bullets, they still fly noticeably faster than ordinary danmaku bullets. If you don't have decent speed, it would be hard to dodge. After getting close to the ground, Rekinna does a low-pass, flies up, spins, then fires the AK again, creating a slower moving but thick danmaku this time. Rekinna flies with her dankamu this time and drops a good amount of M84 Stun grenades this time, then flies up again as fast as possible and covers her ears. A wave of consecutive, loud, sharp bangs ring through the area. Rekinna completely forgot she was dropping bombs on Hakurei Shrine and didn't hold back with the weaponry. When the bangs came to an end, she flew downwards again, this time doing a pass at around 25m and fired off a few more RPG shots.(Note: all her conjured weapons count as danmaku attacks, so they are slightly less powerful and significantly slower than the real thing. The magazines and rounds for the weapons are directly conjured into the guns so reloading is really fast.)

". . . And then, a weird swordswoman came by who wanted me to bear her children! Can you imagine?! And--...huh?" Reimu had hardly noticed Hanalli being flung into next week by yet another youkai. Returning her attention from counting the fingers on her hand, the Shrine Maiden discovered a man standing before her, where the annoyingly joyous Youkai once stood. Reimu let out a sigh and folded her arms, partially concealing her hands within the folds of her sleeves.
"I can agree with you there, Mister Nahumar." Reimu stated flatly, rather unimpressed at the man's unnatural visage. "Now, to what do I owe the 'honor' to be graced by your presence? While I thank you for ridding me of your kin, I must ask that you be on your way as quickly as possible - I'd really like to enjoy my day off, you know! ...Also, please don't mind the...erm, light show." She motioned to the sky with a nod, as Rekinna and Mizuki were apparently engaged in battle.
Honestly, these Youkai were exhausting. Was a day off really so much to ask for? If she was lucky, Mizuki and Rekinna would knock each other out and crash into Nahumar! The issue would resolve itself! ....But, the Shrine Maiden knew she couldn't get that lucky.

"I wanted to just get Hanalli out of your hair for the day, seeing as the giant explosion was spotted from the Forest...but if there is a show, i would not mind just watching it from afar. It's been a while since I have seen such display of bullets after all." Nahumar turned from the human with no fear, flying up on top of one of the pillars to sit and watch. He had no intent on even provoking her. He took out a cocao pod, eating the insides like a fruit as he watched the cards being used and the patterns on display. He looked at one of his own cards, debating to himself if he should intervene and make it a brawl. "Nahumar! How dare you throw your eldest out like that! It's embarrassing!" Hanalli returned, glaring at Nahumar. "Oh please. For the oldest, you sure act the youngest out of the three of us. Plus, you should remember that the Hakurei Priestess is one of the few humans who has ascended beyond the need of our help. Joy is something she has when she wants to show. If you truly want to make her happy, you would heed her wishes over persuading her smile with one of your joy buns." Hanalli sighed, already changing her mood. "I guess i can't win against reality at times. Move over so I can watch." Nahumar smiled at Hanalli, moving to the left for her to sit. She looked down at Reimu once more... "Don't mind us! We are here to watch the show!" She cried from the top of her lungs. Nahumar nearly showing an expression of incoming doom from the priestess. "Hanalli you Idiot..."

Mizuki looked at Rekinna's attacks and grinned. She swung her scythe out in front of her and spun it around, shielding her from the bullets aimed for her. As Rekinna came from above, though, Mizuki quickly leaped to her side and avoided those attacks.
She then saw some being throw away that high spirited one. It stared at her. She had no idea what it was expecting her to do, so she gave it a slightly confused look. Suddenly, the other one came back too. So this is what that Shrine Maiden had to put up with. "So with the new arrival," She said, meaning Nahumar, "I guess then if I win all three will leave. Or maybe just the original two. What do you think, Reimu?" She asked the shrine maiden before she quickly jumped into the air and slashed her scythe forward, sending three more blades of wind at Rekinna, but one flew off course and down towards the steps of the shrine. She then held her hand above her and created four pink spirits which all arched towards Rekinna.
Byakuren began to make her ways up the steps to the Hakurei Shrine, taling to herself. "I know someone mentioned my voice. I know it!" She said to herself. Stuff is usally happeniong at the shrine here, so maybe she was mentioned there. Right? Suddenly, a blade of wind flew her way. She looked up at it with a surprised face and quickly jumped over it. "What on Earth...?" She asked herself quietly before she hurried up the steps to see what was going on. Once she arrived at the top, she saw two people fighting, and Hanalli, Reimu, and Nahumar watching. "Hakurei!" She called over to the shrine maiden, waving her hand in the air as she did. She quickly then flew around the area of battle, in an arch away from its center, and landed several feet to the right of the shrine maiden. "What's going on here?" She asked Reimu, placing her hands on her hips.

Rekinna raised a thick shield of reactive armor plating to defend against the scythe attacks. Then she focused and the Blackbird changed to a Sukhoi PAK FA, allowing for traditionally impossible flight maneuvers at the cost of some speed. Rekinna evaded the spirits, then switched the RPG out for the StG-44. Rekinna did another dive and emptied both weapons' magazines at Mizuki, newly conjured magazines replace the emptied ones immediately. Rekinna put away her StG-44 and pulled out the spellcard 'Armament Sign - Kalashnikov's Comrades'. "Have a taste of Kalashnikov's old comrades. They are a force to be reckoned with when they are together." Rekinna raised the spellcard above her head and her aura, consisting of a mix of bullets, gears, gunfire, and jets, spread over the area. Around thirty danmaku AK-47's appeared at the side of Rekinna, forming a tightly woven cluster of guns. The pattern of Armament Sign - Kalashnikov's Comrades goes like this. The AK-47's will fire full auto straight ahead, making a thick wave of bullets. Then, after the first batch of magazines run dry, the guns will form a tight circle around Rekinna and all shoot while aiming towards the target, but at a slower rate. On the third mag, the guns will spread out over a wide area and fire at the target at a slow rate while Rekinna goes full auto with the original AK.

One... Two... Three... Four... Five.
Five Youkai were now at her shrine, much to Reimu's bewilderment and annoyance. How did they -all- know it was her day off?
"Hijiri..! Gah..." Defeated, Reimu let out a deep sigh, her shoulders slumping as she did. "... I'm going to go make tea now. Care to join us, Byakuren?" Without really waiting for an answer, Reimu turned on her heel and headed back into the shrine, and began making the arrangements for tea.

Nahumar noticed Hijiri, hiding in the shadows from her sight as Hanalli tried to get him out. "Come on out Nahumar. You still have not introduced yourself to Miss Hijiri." A tendon slapped her hand. "NO! I am not going to see that monk at all! If she found me, she would try to eliminate my presence. Fear is a Negative Emotion like Sorrow! I am surprised Sorina lived on her encounter... It turns out that he does not fear the monk, rather he does not like the fact that such a powerful Buddhist Monk of her status was here. Just hearing the name makes him avoid her at all costs for fear of actually feeling pain. Though Reimu could do the same thing, he had respect for her. With Hijiri...he does not trust! ((TLDR: He does not like Buddhism)) Hanalli sighed as she floated back to her pillar. "Have it your way Nahumar. But I will be having fun watching this wonderful display." she turned her attention to the match again. Humming a tune from the past. Nahumar continued to hide in the bushes until further notice.
A stray Tortoise made it's way to the shrine. A hefty sized one almost as large as Genji that Reimu use to ride. It walked at a steady pace, under the bullet fire and over to the shrine steps before taking a nice nap at the foot of the steps. How random...

The spirits alowly arched around and flew to the ground, where they levitated.
Mizuki moved side to side as the bullets came at her, many of them grazing her legs and arms, some leaving small scratches on her limbs which would easily heal for her. As Rekinna pulled out a spellcard, Mizuki decided to as well. "Shinigami Act "Spirit Play"." She said, holding the card over her head. The four spirits that were levitating around the battle field began to glow purple and in a pop they turned into perfect copies of Mizuki. The Mizuki's held out their scythes and after a small amount of focusing, they all slammed them on the ground, each creating a cloud of purple smoke around themselves, all of them switching places with one another. As the bullets came at the Mizuki who Rekinna was aiming at, all the Mizuki's pulled up their scythes and slashed them downwards, each sending two blades of wind at Rekinna. Once the bullets hit, the Mizuki who was under them turned back into a spirit and popped away.
Byakuren gave a small chuckle when Reimu jumped. Though she ignored her question, she didn't really mind. "I'd love some, Reimu." She told her. Then something else caught her attention, it was Hanalli, talking to some... bushes? "Hanalli? What are you doing over there?" She asked her from where she stood at the shrine. Then, she noticed a tortoise had come up to the shrine and decided to take a nap. Jeez, this day was random. Byakuren squatted down next to it and rubbed its shell. "What are you doing here, little one?" She asked it as she rubbed its shell knowing that she would not get an answer from it.

Rekinna ignored the clones of Mizuki coming at his sides, and continued the spell. Having activated a spell card that focused on attacking. Rekinna was a little defenseless against flanking attacks. Having also spent the first magazine of the spellcard, she needed around one second to regenerate the ammo. With limited mobility and no defense, five scythes hit and the rest skid across Rekinna's wings(Or rather, jets.) and legs. Being danmaku attacks, they did a small amount of physical damage. But having all your named spells and patterns defeated means defeat no matter what, as the rules stated. Still, this was not enough to break Rekinna's spell, so she continued to the second magazine's pattern. The AK-47s gathered around Rekinna and all pointed at Mizuki. Then, a wave of bullets fired from the guns with stunning accuracy and trigger discipline. It was as if the Russian army was really here. Naturally, this spell would last for six magazines, but the scythes that hit almost broke the spell. Even if this spell did break, Rekinna would still have two other spells. This is a pretty standard setup, three spellcards and two non-spell patterns.
Meanwhile, Leena(New chara, go to the bottom of the OC Archives.) and Maria Memory(Same with this one, I made a trio. Maria, Leena, and Rekinna.) were looking for the Rekinna Cherstvennikov - Flames of War. Who lives up to her title for all the trouble she causes. Just when they got to the shrine, they saw Rekinna flying around in some new, modern, Russian Sukhoi, shooting her guns and being trigger happy. "No fair, why didn't she invite me to see her battle?!" Leena puffed up her cheeks and looked more eight years old rather than two and a half centuries. Maria just face palmed, and walked up the stone steps, holding faint hopes that Rekinna didn't irritate anyone. Only to be disappointed again once she got to the top of the stairs, Leena followed closely behind. Maria walked up to Reimu and sighed. "Please forgive Rekinna, she does have the behavior to match the title: Flames of War. But now that she is in a danmaku battle, we dare not interfere. At least she is only in normal mode, using her three less destructive spells. Here is some compensation to pay for the damage she will do on her third spell." Maria pulled out four gold coins from ancient Greece and handed them to Reimu. "I realize this is not the currency here in Gensokyo, but pure gold should at least account for something." Leena popped out behind Maria with a serious look on her face. "If you don't know what we're talking about, then I'll tell you about her third spell: One Man Cannon. Think of a rain of bombs... and that's about it, a rain of RPG rockets. Those rockets are not like normal danmaku attacks either. Those rockets will actually have enough force when detonated to shatter rock. They're not that accurate either, so watch out for stray shots."

...Six, Seven.
Reimu made a mental note of the two new strangers approaching the shrine as she worked within, filling a pot with water for tea and letting it warm. Their spiritual auras weren't hard to pick up on, even in the magic-infused chaos that reigned overhead.
In the cupboard were four cups, which she then took and moved to set on the kotatsu in the main room. It wouldn't be enough to accommodate her "guests", but she had never planned on hosting such a great number of people, either. What a bother.
As Maria and Leena entered the shrine, Reimu patted her hands clean on the white apron she was now wearing - an otherwise useless gift once received from Marisa - and turned to face the two new girls. "Forgive? I'll forgive her when she leaves!" she replied with a huff, though her attitude changed slightly as Maria presented the gold coins. Reimu stared at them for a moment, then quickly swiped them up and crossed her arms, hiding the coins somewhere in her sleeve. "That being said, as soon as their battle is over, I want her out of here. Along with everyone else, preferably." She said the last part in a loud tone so as to intentionally be heard by the others nearby.
"RPG? Is that some kind of weird game?" Reimu tilted her head in confusion at Leena's interjection. "I know Patchouli sometimes plays those weird magic-box things... It's no wonder she never comes out of that mansion." Just then, a whistle came from the room over. Alerted to the sound, Reimu hurried to the kitchen to fetch the tea pot. Returning to the main room, Reimu placed the pot on the kotatsu and called out to the monk; "Hijiri, are you coming?"

The tortoise slowly looked up at Hijiri before relaxing once more on the ground. Hanalli looked over at Hijiri, keeping Nahumar's wishes to hide. "I am just speaking to the bush. They can be happy too." Her smile still warm as ever, but upon seeing the large Tortoise... "Nintai!" Hanalli latched on his back and gave him a big hug, giggling. "Wow! you walked pretty far from the Mountain." She was enjoying it untill the third emotion briefly showed. "Oh no...Nintai. I told you not to ever go to this shrine." It was Sorina. She looked very worried, especially since Reimu frightens her at times. Nintai looked up, then to the table being set up inside, and back at Sorina. "I-i see... Priestess! Sorry to trouble you but mind if you let Nintai stay? He always wanted to know why I urge him not to visit you. Just be easy on him?" She called out without letting Reimu even reply back as she flew off in a hurry. "Hehe, the Tortoise of Patience wins again!" Hanalli cheered as she pulled out one of her Daffodils she was holding onto for him to snack on. The Radiating Happiness could be seen as infectious to those around her- well minus the fact of Reimu once more. Her age and experience do not reflect on her current attitude of a human child. She finally realized that Byakuren was with the turtle for the while and decided to introduce him. "Hijiri. This is Nintai. My sister's little cave buddy. His name really reflects on his attitude. He has such patience it's impossible to match." She sat on top of his shell, exactly showing how small she was compared to the turtle.
However, Nahumar simply watched from afar. His eyes on everywhere. He was ready to leave any second with Byakuren around them.

Byakuren heard Reimu call to her from inside the shrine. "I'll be right with you!" She called back to her. She then gave Hanalli a confused look. 'Bushes...?' She thought to herself. She then replaced her confused look with a warm smile. "Oh, alright." She said. But she wasn't stupid. 'What is she hiding from me? I know she's not that ditsy' She thought to herself. Her attention then shifted from Hanalli to Sorina, who left as soon as she came. Hanalli called him the tortoise of patience. "Now, nothing is impossible, Hanalli." Byakuren told her. "There could be someone or something just as patient as him somewhere else. Maybe not in Gensokyo, but maybe in the outside world, or one of the other worlds Gensokyo is located near." She said. She then stood up straight, after giving the tortoise one last pat on the head, and went inside the shrine with Reimu.
Byakuren went to the kotatsu and sat down, placing her legs under it. "Thank you for the tea, Reimu." She told her. "I'm terribly sorry to intrude upon your shrine like this, but I needed to come and look for... umm..." She said, holding her hand to her chin as she thought. "I... uhh... can't remember right now... hehe.."
Two Mizuki's were inside the line of fire from Rekinna's attack, but before they went, the four Mizuki's threw their hands forward and sent out a wave of coins each that still counted as danmaku. Once the two Mizuki's were hit, they too, like the one before them, vanished in the same way.
The two Mizuki's left both jumped into the air over Rekinna and attempted to bring their scythe blades downwards upon her (like Komachi's attack in UNL/SWR/IaMP). Even if it hit or not, Mizuki ended her spellcard, her last clone disappearing. She pulled out a new spellcard and held it in her hand as she waited for Rekinna to do something.
