Lex gave both of them slightly worried looks, making little huffs in the back of his throat. No, they weren't critically injured, but this wasn't how he'd expected things to go. Maybe if he just backtracked a little bit...
That was a definite no, thanks to a rather nasty spike trap. It hadn't pierced his boots, thank God, but it came close enough. He came back with a little frown, but managed to shrug it off.

Roland found he was watching Nevada wiggle, he was watching her wiggle a lot. He quickly looked away shrugging, "You should be fine because of uh your FEAR shield but uhm, the whole... clothing things I just. Yeah."
He moved down the same passage again, this time moving down a side route.

Roland frowned, the hallway he cut to the side of did no good. Turning around he watched as a stone slab started to move blocking off his path back but opening another tunnel to his side. It continued like this for a good twenty minutes of back and forth zigzagging before he was finally deposited back in the main room.
"The place can shift like a puzzle box..."

For a moment Roland thought he had it right, the tunnels where leading him deeper as he ventured out again, he might make it, he might be good for this. He marched forward and that was when the stone shifted under toe. Something clicked as he moved up the steps, the floor shifted slanting downward as the stairs became level and slanted sending him tumbling back the way way he came.
No, not the way he came, into a tunnel of water washing him to the fountain room they had entered in spilling him into a pool like Nevada.
"C-CCCOLLLLLLDDDD!" He howled before scrambling out the pool stripping his own jacket and shirt tossing them aside shivering. "********. Nevada... was right. Y-yeah."

Nevada heard the loud shriek of her cuddle companion and watched as he pulled himself out of the pool. In a very female like apperciation, she watched him strip down and smiled.
"Did I hear that I was right Roland?" Of course the mist huntress gravitated to the other hunter and slid her arms around his waist, pressing against him. After all, Two bodies made good warm heat!
"Would you like me to help you warm back up?" She murmured, trailing her hands over his back.

Lex wasn't around, it was just Nevada, she was pretty much naked, he was halfway there. The huntress was beside him at once pressed against him, his head tipped ever so slightly to look up at her cheeks flushed, his body was indeed quiet warm from all that blushing.
The fingers on his back made him jump almost, standing just a bit taller eyes going wider. "N-nevada we... we're in the middle of a mission we can't just...!"
Nevada just kept a fond gaze on Roland, the blush she knew was just another way the body heated itself in reaction to things that might embarass the hunter.
But Nevada was comfortable with herself, her body and the actions she chose. She didn't do things lightly...one might say.
"Oh Roland, Missions are the perfect time..." She purred as she stilled her hands on his back. There was a moment of just awkward silence before the mist huntress chuckled.
"Don't worry Roland, I won't bite...I just don't want you to catch a cold or anything." Her hands slipped out from behind him as she took a step back. "I think you've warmed up enough though." She patted his cheek and then turned to head down another corridor.

Lex had gotten himself just a little lost; only a tiny bit, really. Not much damage was done, save to his hair, which was now flat and drenched with water. He'd tripped at one point, landing face first into a fountain. He was peeved about it, but didn't let it dampen his mood.
On arrival, he found that not only Nevada was a soaking mess, but so was Roland. With a chuckle he removed his own coat, and handed it to the male Mist. "Wear this; you need it more than me."
He searched around for the female Mist, finding nothing. She must have gone off exploring - yes, yes she had. A grin, as they were finally getting closer.
"C'mon Roland, let's get going!" He cheered, following the sound of the girl's voice, finding her after being turned around for a short time.
"Good to see you again, Nevada. Take this." He insisted, offering his shirt to her, leaving a white tee left of his body. Layers - Lex loved them.

Oh how he heated, practically warming Nevada to the core as well as himself when the mist hunter pressed against him, it was the light touch on his back that really triggered it, it wasn't a terrible thing. Not really suggestive but it was how soft it was that made it so... shockingly enjoyable?
"I wait what? Missions are not the perfect time~!" He suddenly remembered the Horsemen cages, Rep's rather large condom collection. For a moment he half smiled, realized a near naked Nevada was still against him causing him to blush again. "I well I wouldn't I don't." He was flustered and simply turned to admire the the ceiling and the creatures swimming above it again while Nevada wandered away.
It wasn't till a white coat was presented to him that Roland took notice of Lex. "Eh erm? Oh... thanks." Slipping into the jacket he frowned realizing just how tall Lex was. Easily a good foot taller. Working at the sleeves he took a moment longer then Lex adjusting the jacket so he wouldn't be flailing about like a fool.
When he finally did catch up the three hunters found themselves looking down a very long hallway, at the far end a strange flickering distortion seemed to block there view.
"If what Nevada found was true... that's the last area. Not only is it like a volcanic heart of this place. But it's so loaded with that FEAR stuff that it distorts the area around it..."

"Oh Thank you Lex." Nevada took the shirt and pulled it over. It skirted around her thighs since the mans height was much taller then hers. "This is nice..." She pulled the collar up to sniff it and then smiled. "You always smell good Lex." She laughed.
Once they made it to the middle of the room though, she stared warily and laced her hands together. "Well the only thing to do is keep moving forward right?"
She stepped into the FEAR and right into a trap, quicksand snaking around her ankles.
"Oh...Oh s**t." She muttered, standing as still as she could. "Guys there are traps in here...please be careful!" She had to be careful as she sank deeper. "I guess this trap was made for me. How bad do you think it would be to take a nap right now?"
