She smiles in response, helping Adessi put on the clothing while sheilding her body from prying eyes. After they finish putting the dress on Frederique pulls out a few pins, pinning the dress so that it fits Adessi a bit better. She adds a few finishing touch by making a wreath of chocolate cosmos and putting it in her hair. "There, you look absolutely darling now."

Frederique ruffles her hair, smiling "I'm Frederique, although most people call me Freddy. I'm sorry, we should have done that in the bathroom..."Frederique usually thinks, but this was her first time ever meeting a still life like her; she got too excited.

There was his chance to be more father like and he just wished he wouldn't screw it up. "Ok one, you don't look weird. Unique yes, but weird not really. There are other kids that look unique here too, but if you don't feel like it you can stick with me. I'm burnin' with confidence. Might rub on ya kid." He was sure he deserved a gold star for that little speech and he hoped it worked even a little. How he wanted to see Tobi at least try but he knew it would possibly be a battle or keep a close eye on him just in case.

Vic looked around trying to stop a little boy or girl that he could get his son to go to. "See any kid you wanna talk to?" The adult whispered as he kept looking.

Cambria flung the door to the gym open. Yeah. She liked her own costume which matched her girlfriend's... date's whatever they were considered now. She didn't know a damn thing about "Vocaloid" but this red hoodie with the profile face on each side of the hood, the green spray on feather-dye and brown gloves were just badass enough to suit her victorious mood even if she wasn't pale like the proper matry-whatever and was dark skinned instead.

She took a moment to survey the gym. Well there were flowers everywhere. Looks like Flippy beat her here. Now where... Ah green hair. Cambria starting sauntering across the gym to pounce on her. "Hey Baby, Imagine meeting you here." She announced teasingly

Hearing the chirp and the feeling on something on his shoulder made Vic's eyes narrow. He knew who it was and disliked it to the point he wanted to flick it off his shoulder but he had to put that aside as Tobi looked scared. When the adult looked around it didn't take long for him to see Phyl which made Vic sigh. "Don't worry. She's scared of me so she won't do anythin' to you." Again he sighed and scratched the back of his head. Vic didn't mean for the girl to dislike him but that was just how it played out.

Looking to his shoulder he gave Cupid a mean look and blew at it to try and shush it away. "Your master not scared that I'll make you my lunch?" Swiftly, Vic took the bird off his shoulder to look at him.

"Thanks, so do you!" Cambria spared a glance for the little girl that was scurrying away. She shrugged internally, even if she wasn't that tall, she more then made up for it in personality.

"As for you not being a baby, well you're not an infant, but you're a total babe. Those pigtails suit you." Cambria said glancing at said hairdoo and grinning. Man she was going to dance with this shiny if it was the last thing she did.

There was about to be another influx of metas. All of Sun's kids had ended up coming as a group instead of splitting up and going with friends or roommates. This was in part because all of them had gotten ready at home, some with their mother's help. But a more major factor was dragging the eldest boy in the family, Edmund, to the event.

It wasn't so much because Edmund didn't want to go, in fact he was looking forward to it. He was hoping that Yoo would be there and his best friend, Aiden. But he really hadn't wanted to go in costume and he especially didn't want to go in the costume his siblings and mother had all insisted he wear. It seemed that despite being nearly an adult he still had no say over what he wore to events. He was dressed like a knight, and the outfit seemed entirely too flashy for his taste.

Edmund was being half dragged into the ball, Kei pushing from behind, Willow and Nadia each taking an arm. Gavin made his way in front of them all dressed in his own costume. He'd chosen to go more on the christmas side of the theme and had dressed as Jack Frost. Over his shoulder he had slung a bag full of something mysterious. As they approached the door he flung it open grinning wide and playfully as he took in the scene before him. It was good to see some kids already there. He saw many new faces and several old ones as well. He couldn't help but note that his friend Theo had yet to appear, though that was no shocker. Theo liked to push the boundary on fashionably late.

As Kei, Willow and Nadia got closer Gavin swung out of the way to hold the door open properly. At this point Willow was giggling madly, whereas Nadia sported a triumphant smirk. Edmund was totally disgruntled but straightened up and walked the rest of the way in on his own. He didn't want to draw even MORE attention to himself although at this point he knew that was impossible.

Luckily for him his siblings were much showier and Nadia moved out in front of him to make her way further into the room. She'd chosen to dress up like a stereotypical demon. The thought that a dress that hugged her curves so well with a slit that was all the way "up to there" was maybe not the most appropriate dress hadn't even crossed her mind. She instantly spotted Silas, how could she not when he was dressed so brightly and so mismatched? Also she spotted River who looked adorable as a sheep sitting over on his own. Both obviously needed her attention, but she chose to go talk to Silas first, not without giving River a little wave though.

"Hello Silas....you're looking rather.... festive." Her mouth twisted into an amused smile as she gestured to his outfit.

Kei was the next to come around in front of his other siblings, strutting into the ball in his heels like he was in some kind of fashion show. He'd chosen to go as Dr. Frankenfurter from Rocky Horror Picture Show. Maybe it was a little cliche, but when you were male and had to be in heels all the time, it seemed like the obvious choice. Plus it seemed like a good outfit to tease his boyfriend Ask in. He had chosen to wear a mini skirt instead of the normal bottoms paired with the outfit. He didn't want it to be TOO inappropriate, there were kids around after all. Since there seemed to be a lack of Ask around, Kei made a beeline for his best friend Isolde. He cocked a hip before placing a hand on it and grinning at her.

"You're looking gorgeous! I knew the whole thing was going to look so good on you, but I'm happy to see it turned out this well."

Willow and Edmund had watched their siblings dramatic entrance from the door and while Willow giggled, Edmund just was mortified. He wondered why his siblings needed to be so showy.

"Hey Edmund, there's Aiden. We should go say hi." Willow pointed over to the green haired girl in the ghost caplet. Willow herself was dressed as a flower. She had debated about if for days but with Gavin, Kei, and Isolde's encouragement she went forward with the plan of being a flower. It was hardly seasonally appropriate, and a bit cold, if not also the girliest thing she had ever worn. But when one was trying to attract a bee boy...flowers were hopefully the way to go. It was a potentially bold move in her mind, and she hoped it was going to pay off.

Edmund nodded in response and the two made their over to Aiden. Willow was all smiles though Edmund was still looking a bit shy because of his costume. "Hey Aiden! You make a cute ghost."

"Hey..." Edmund gave a quieter greeting. It was probably obvious to Aiden that he was completely uncomfortable at the moment.

Seeing that all his siblings had made their way over to various friends to chat Gavin decided it was time to reach in his bag and pull out a sprig of mistletoe. He hovered a bit with his wings and then hung it over the exit side of the door. One sprig of mistletoe down, many more to go. Off Gavin went, sneaking around and looking for more good places to hang his little gift to the party.

"You don't have to be sure, because I am." Cambria stated with a grin. When she was asked about friends she took a look around. "I don't know, I don't make friends easily and when I do they're never around... Let's see..." She stood on her tippy toes and used her wings for balance. "Yeah, I see Tobi, though I thought he was a teen for a bit.... whatever weird s**t happens all the time around here. Oh there's Silas with some chick. He still owes me glitter." She pointed at each in turn.

Ask wandered into the ball a bit later in a horrendous Christmas sweater. He'd been given it by his Mother as a gag gift (she'd been cackling something about it looking nice in shreds on Kei's floor, but he's pretty sure he misheard her). He wore it to fluster Kei and Isolde. They'd been on him about his wardrobe for this very event and he'd decided to wear something truly hideous, just to show them how bad it could get, and to be thankful for his usual clothes.

Stepping in through the door he looked around for Kei immediately. There were Edmunds wings, wow how had they gotten him into that flashy but appropriate costume? And yup, Nadia lookin' dangerous as usual. Where... ah. Woah. Ask's brain shut down as he spotted Kei's costume. Wow. Woooow. He started moving in his direction without even realizing it.

Sha wasn't far behind with Trae in tow. He was dressed as Red Link from Zelda, even though he kept his long red hair (he'd tucked his pony tail into his hat). He even had a sword, shield and fairy. Hell yes.

Trae on the other hand wasn't happy. Why did he trust Sha to pick out his costume? WHY. He was dressed entirely in blue and had a sign around his neck writ with a capitalized "LOOK, LISTEN!" He didn't want to be Navi. But at least Sha had let him nix the blue tutu. Being a fairy sucked. It left way too many joke doors open for obnoxious best friends.
