"Please still be there please still be there please still be there..." Jem muttered as she turned the corner and came into sight.
"...Ok I wasn't expecting this."

Stomcaller chewed desperately as Jem appeared and finally came lose as the other pokemon started to thaw. He spun and started to run off.

"Not so fast furrball!" The ivysaur lashed out with vines to drag the fleeing pokemon back.
"Holy s**t! Uh, go Taurus? Man I can't let you out of my sight." Jem mumbled as she quickly assessed her pokemon and started rummaging through her pack for the proper healing items.

"Augh!" With that last hit, Taurus' exhaustion caught up with him and the vines went limp, allowing the dark type to escape. "Yeah you better run..." he managed to grate out at his opponent's retreat.
Jem finally came bearing potions. "Here ya go buddy. That poochyena must have caught you by surprise, huh?"
Taurus grumbled as his trainer tended to his wounds.
