Had he been shopping for her, he would have known just which sweater to try first. Orange. Yes. West grinned as she made her choice, keeping his lips together as he tried to hide it. He didn't want to be grinning. This was a bad place to be. Even the ram pen was better than here. But still he grinned.
He stepped closer as she got to picking something for him, refraining from making any immediate phone-translated observations when he saw the bright garment she was handing over. On the one hand, it was a great deal more obviously busy than anything he usually wore, but on the other... War Clan. The smile that had faded slightly reappeared as he took it from her, running his fingers over the fabric obligingly. It was soft, but that wasn't the reason why he suddenly wanted it. No, his reason had a lot to do with hammocks, oddly enough.
West nodded when Levi returned from giving Medea her seeds. He'd keep this War Clan sweater. He might even wear it sometimes. Probably when he was in his room. Alone. The boil fished his seeds back out and deposited his payment in front of the horsewoman as quickly as he was able. As he returned to Levi's side he shrugged and gestured back the way they had come. What next?
West has just spent 25 seeds on a sweater and now has 69. >>

He was going to take her choice; mission fashionista accomplished. Levi wondered if now a good pair of matching slacks might be in order while she was on it. The thought of West wearing a colorfully patterned ensemble... made the ghoul feel a tiny bit ill. Okay, maybe no to the matching pants. He'd be more decorated than a Christmas Town tree and that was not West. Even with limited fashion sense, it was obviously not an appeal for the wrath demon to be all lit up. A bit of color? Maybe oranges, yellows and whites? Possibly; but there was something about being so multicolored that didn't seem to appease.
When West returned to Levi, he'd find she already wriggled the sweater on, clearly more orange than she was before and smiling widely at him. Her black scarf hung outside the neckline in an upside-down triangle form and the ghoul's ram crate was held in a coil of her tail at her side. Levi was well bundled up and far more covered than usual in the long sleeved garb.
'Ere Having both hands free, the tatzel reached out to take West's sweater from him. Lemme help ya put'it on. Spirit Week, right? It would be nice to wear them and be supportive. The mix of her usual sugary scent suddenly became enriched with a smokey burning flavor. For a moment, Levi thought of Conquest Isle.
She was taking a break from fat drawgons to go and support her fellow horsewomen. That is what Lan told herself at any rate. Truthfully she was slightly concerned what with the bright and colorful looking... Things the head priestess was making. They looked well. Well. Yes. They looked like something worth looking at.
Shuffling a bit before bowing to Medea, Lan eyed each colored... Item with care. The only one she could see herself even considering... Well, only horsemen were Mengyao, who was likely to burn it or never wear it and really she'd not blame him. Invictus-
No, just... No. She might not be close to him but even she knew him better than that.
And that left... Maybe Soren? A gift could send the wrong message but he never wore shirts and she kept running into him without them. Not to mention poor Lifen was trying to help him wardrobe wise. The horseman did like fur as well. If anything maybe he would take the hint to stop walking around looking like he was too poor to dress himself.
And that was how Lan ended up getting Soren a death sweater.

He shook his head, then tried to soften the gesture with a nervous smile. To get the sweater on he'd have to remove his scarf, and if he did that... she'd see. Why hadn't he thought of that sooner? He supposed he had been too distracted by the sight of Medea and everything her presence sparked in his head. Somehow, that didn't make him feel any better.
Levi had accepted the fact that he couldn't speak without any proof or questioning, and West had been grateful. This was going to be a mess. Hugging the sweater to his chest with a forearm to free up his hands, the boil reached for his phone again and started tapping.

When Freya entered the sweater booth, the first thing she noticed was the horseman who'd given her that neat tattoo on her lower back. She touched it thoughtfully while she looked at Medea, but she refrained from saying anything to her. She remembered how angry the tattoo had made Herryk. And she still didn't know if it was more than just a tattoo. Medea had done nothing but offer her power, but so far she'd seen none of it. And so, she remained impassive and neutral to the horsewoman.
But not to her sweaters.
She turned and whispered something into Kettil's ear. "These are absolutely atrocious.."

Kettil leaned to listen to Freya's whisper and just gave her a small grin and a bit of an indifferent shrug, "I dunno some of them seem pretty okay," he said thoughtfully to her in a quiet whispered tone.
...He wasn't sure he was going to buy one or not.
He flicked a gaze over at Medea for a long moment. Kettil recognized her and only felt a small amount of guilt due to the fact that he was there with the islands had gone down. It felt as if a small part of the blame was upon him sometimes.
He had a home. Horsemen? Did not. It made him a little sympathetic to them.
Freya got up on the balls of her feet and wrapped her arms lazily around Kettil's shoulders from behind, leaning her weight on his back. "Oh, ja? Yehr goings teh buys one then? They looks like yehr types of fashion, hah?"
Freya didn't think she could bring herself to spend her money on any of them. But she wasn't going to miss the chance of making fun of Kettil if he did.

Kettil leaned forward a bit as his arms reached back to make a seat for her butt to settle upon, pretty much giving her a piggyback ride without being told to do so. It was just an unsaid thing as he walked closer to observe some of the sweaters with her with a quiet hum.
The rainbow sweater looked like fun. As did that one really weird white sweater with eyes. "Hmmm. I don't think I'd look good in a sweater. It's too much clothing for me," he said a bit louder with a doubtful tone.
"I don't mind dressin' up but, I dunno if you noticed, I don't like it when my chest gets covered." He said thoughtfully. Kettil almost always wore buttoned shirts with very few exceptions.
Freya slipped onto Kettil's back as naturally as breathing. She clung to his neck as they bounced forward, and he got a better look at all of the wares. When he decided they weren't for him, Freya breathed a sigh of relief. Then she reached out and patted his collarbone playfully, fingers ducking under the loose buttoned shirt. "Good!" She chirped out. "I don't likes it when yehr chest gets covered, either. In fact, this is already too much. Nobody should have to wear shirts or sweaters. Ever!"
She gave one last look at the sweaters, and pursed her lips. They were really colorful. But.. she stretched her hand out, and tried to feel one, but couldn't reach. "Are they soft, at least?"

He blushed a little bit at her words and actions, a small laugh bubbled out of him despite it all. Kettil bounced a bit closer as he noted her reaching out for a feel of the sweaters, "I dunno. I don't feel like puttin' you down. Be my hands~," he said cheerfully.
Kettil's body looked a bit awkward as he sort of tilted her closer so she could reach them, but he didn't care. Everything he did was for the Valkyrie.
Freya's eyes grew round and bright when she was lowered down to touch the sweaters herself, and her lips formed a perfect 'oh' shape when her fingers finally felt the sweater. She squished the white one in her hands, and coo'd. "Is soft! Softer than I thought. Almost as soft as foxfire fluff.. maybe these would makes nice couch stuffings. Or blankets!"
Now she was starting to second guess her distaste for the sweaters. She would never wear one in public, but cuddling up in one at home.. that was an idea worth considering.

"Maybe, maybe!" He agreed with a small nod, trusting her taste of soft things, she would certainly know that best. Kettil let out a small hum as he stood there with her, "You want to buy one or two?" He asked curiously.
After all if she wanted to use them for stuffing or for blanketing they would need to be bought.
"Mmm... maybe just one. Teh tries it out." She was already holding the white one with the weird face on it, so she picked it up and held it against Kettil's cheek. "See how soft? Is nice. I would cuddles it. Maybe not wears it, but for cuddles.."

His expression became distant and happy, "Yeah! That's real nice," he murmured. "I want one, too!" He said suddenly. He might not wear it but maybe he could use it as a pillow or something.
Sweaters they were doin' it wrong.

Okay. She was gonna buy some cute stuff or something. Tomoko wasn't sure what would be cute at this school, but she was going to try, gosh darnit! She had all sorts of money saved up - a boon from a new weekend job she'd taken up.
Now she wanted to do something nice for herself. From across the way, however, it was not hard for her to suddenly spot a fantastic (and brightly colored) sweater, walking across the way to take a look at it.
Picking up the rainbow decorated sweater, Tomoko took a moment to hold it up to herself, before nodding.
She wanted it. A glance at the price caused her to wince, however. She didn't have too much and she was rather afraid of spending it all, to be honest. Tomoko seemed to keen a little bit before she put the sweater down and instead picked up a nice orange one instead.
It was pretty soft, actually.
"These are really nice." Tomoko said as she fished out the ten seeds to pay for her new sweater and gave them to the Priestess. "Just don't work yourself too hard, okay?"
Once the transaction was complete, she pulled the sweater on over her head and went on her merry little way.
