"A FIERCE TUG!" Tseng shouted as he geared himself up before yanking at the rope. The ram tried hard to pull back, but it ended up being dragged a little closer. Its hooves dug into the dirt, as it was trying to pull back and away from the horseman.
"There is no use, little horned beast! You cannot win this one!"
The horseman of conquest gripped onto the rope tightly, pulling as hard as he could to drag the ram in. However, the minipet seemed to be pretty damn determine to not be caught. The rope was beginning to fray from the strain the two were causing it. This wasn't going to last too much longer. That was for certain.
Nessa wonders over to the fence and watches a few other students trying to catch the rams. She decides that it looks like fun and wants to have a go at it. She pulls out her pouch of silver seeds and takes 5 of them out and drops them in the little box.
YEE-HAW! C'MERE LITTLE RAM!

She throws the rope and it doesn't even get close to the ram.

Tseng was determined to not let this one get away. Seeing how the rope was on its last legs, he let out a nonverbal shout while pulling with all his might. Grimacing, he pulled it on closer, and the ram was unable to fight it. Before too long, the horseman had thrown his arms around the beast to hold it still so that it could be boxed up for him.
"Well fought, little one. But you could not best one such as myself."
She knew this would be her last chance to get the ram over to the fence. She digs her feet into the ground and makes sure the rope is firmly in her hands and give it once last tug. " err come on just a little closer."

it was a stand off it didn't matter how hard she pulled the ram would pull back just as hard.
After she had left the gymnasium, she had wandered outside, coming across the fenced-off field. Curiosity had drawn her closer (as well as all the glowing lanterns), and she tried to peek through the fence, only to jump when it ended up shaking.
Wondering what was inside, she looked around, wondering if there was someone she could ask, until she noticed the sign.
Minipets. She had to... wrangle... minipets? She had no idea what that meant, but it said she could keep them. NEVER NOT MINIPETS.
Eagerly, she grabbed the rope and attempted to wrangle something. Surprisngly, her poorly-formed lasso had managed to latch on to something that moved, and she tugged with all her might.
It was the most glorious form of tug-of-war. But the ram decided it wanted none of this shenanigan and gave the rope a harsh yank, nearly sending Mayaa toppling over the fence herself.
Why ewe gotta be such a baad sport, goat? She just wanted to love you and cherish you and give you a home and dote on you and feed you spookies. ALL THE SPOOKIES.
Silly harpy Minipets don't eat spookies. It gave one last sharp yank, sending Mayaa tumbling to the ground as it pulled itself free.
"A-ow... this is hard." she pouted, sitting on the floor.
As students approached and began to play, Red set aside her carving to lean against the fence and watch. And just her luck -- the very first visitor got one! Red reached down and scooped up the ram Miyako caught, tossing it into a crate and removing the rope from it. "That was close," she complimented as she handed the crate to her. "Enjoy your... ah, Rammy and come back again tomorrow."
As Freya nearly fell off the fence, Red pulled something out of her cloak. With a grin, Red peeled off a sticker and placed it right in the middle of the Valkyrite's forehead. "Better luck next time!"
Tseng's shouting caught Red's attention as she watched, clapping him in the back as he successfully reeled the creature in. "Not bad! Here you are, stranger."
Red offered a hand to help Mayaa to her feet, taking the opportunity to bestow a shiny gold star on her forehead too. "It's only as hard as you make it," she chided lightly, "Just keep practicing, and you'll find that it gets easier."
