Gabe nodded along as she explained the dogs. They sounded like great companions, and an even better excuse than he already had for his daily walks. "They sound like great dogs," he said. He'd have to talk to his parents, of course, but he was turning eighteen soon and very likely moving out.
"Biased or not, you make them sound like really great dogs," he said. He was definitely thinking hard about it now. He had never considered any kind of animal companion, but for jogging and for friendliness, a dog really couldn't be beat.
"I'll definitely grab a dog book," Gabe promised. "You wouldn't happen to know offhand where that section is? If not I'll find it," he promised. He was definitely going to look further into this. "Great seeing you again, Eliza!"

Eliza was really excited that Gabe seemed to like the idea of having a border collie and the dog and general and was really hoping she would be able to give her friend a puppy. It was very exciting because she would be able to visit the puppy and know how it was doing and maybe she could even jog with Gabe and the puppy.
She gave a small laugh at the comment about the dogs sounding great where Eliza was being biased or not before giving a big smile. “They books about border collies, are just around the bend in the pet and pet care sections. There are books about all kinds of animals over there and more than just border collies. It was great seeing you again too, Gabe.”
She headed off but stopped after just three steps, “Text me, okay. We can go jogging together again or something. And don't forget to let me know what you decided. Bye Gabe.” With that she ran off to check out her book with a smile on her face and a hope that one of the puppies would go to Gabe.
