Socks was grazed by the punch near her ribs. She twisted around to so she could face Elesh Norn and fired more stars. It didn't look like she would win this one but she had whittled a lot more hp down this time.

Once more Socks hid behind a trash can and let that take the full force of the punch. She then darted out from the other side and shot more stars at the legendary.

Socks couldn't avoid the attack this time as she was trapped between some garbage bags and cans. She went flying backwards into the 'building'. She stood up and shook her head to clear it. She then shot more stars at Elesh Norn

Socks was tiring but she figured her opponent was too. So she wasn't going to just roll over and die. She dodged the punch and fired more stars..... and prayed to Arceus that she would win this one.

Elesh Norn was hit by the stars again, and she grew increasingly aware of her waning strength. If not for the energy she had stolen from the eevee, she would have lost by now - she had underestimated Socks. But no more. Her eye glowed a deep violet, and spectral hands reached around the eevee, trying to drag her into a deep slumber.

Socks dropped where she was standing having fallen asleep. She dreamed of kicking the Darkrai's butt and in reality she snored loudly and her little legs kicked about as if she was running.

Alexa jumped up and cheered while doing a fist pump. Looks like Socks somehow pulled it off. She waved happily to Lenore and ran over to get her sleeping Eevee. She picked Socks up and left the stadium. It was best to let her sleep a bit longer before waking her up and telling her the good news.
