Victoria coughed, pinching her nose as she frowned at the caterpillar; wasn't smoking not allowed in school? Even if... This "smoke" made her relaxed and sleepy. It wasn't the same type of smoke as the one she was used to seeing - and smelling.
She wondered if Sir Caterpillar was one of these men her Matron warned her about.

"Huh?"
It took Victoria a while to react, but once she realized that the floor in the maze had somehow transformed into lava, she tried to hover a little higher up, letting out a soft whimper at how lethargic and giddy she felt. Still, she was determined to see this through, and continued on her way.
A few minutes later, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was someone - or something - tugging her on the back of her dress. However, every time she turned around to check, she couldn't see anyone at all. It was probably her imagination though, since the tugging eventually stopped, even if the feeling that someone was there, waiting to drag her away lingered..
Now hopelessly lost in the maze, the ghost passed by some mushrooms - harmless enough until, one after the other, they sprung to life, and started to attack her... With kisses? Oh no. Matron would not like that. Not one bit-

Things were always vastly easier to navigate when one was not encumbered by petticoats, bloomers and a large skirt with apron. But Belladonna was not the type of ghoul to let such obstacles ever bother her, especially when she was the one who had picked them out. So though it was a bit of a slow go, the witch managed to extract her person and outfit intact only to crawl up into... Another forest?! Belladonna managed to keep an eye roll from happening because it would have been quite rude to not only Wonderland but the excellent student council, but really. More and more forests, forests on top of forests! It was forestception. It was odd. So with a swell of chest, the witch made her way forward only to realize those trees were mushrooms. And that she was tired. And growing heavier. And just... Needed a little sit down. Just as she considered it, a face swam forward and the witch audibly gasped. A jump backwards had been attempted, but thanks to her suddenly weary limbs, it was only a tiny shuffle she managed to enact.
"Bravery is far better than humbleness." The witch observed out loud just in time to have a puff of smoke blown in her face. It was... Odd.

When the smoke mostly cleared the very tall entrance to a maze rose before the witch. Though she inclined her head backwards, she still had to take a step back to take in as much as she could. But there wasn't really any time to dwaddle, for even though she felt a surge of strength within herself, it didn't feel enough. Hopefully it would be, for otherwise this maze might daunt her entirely and that would be such a poor end to her Wonderland experience! With a clench of hands the witch strode forward into the maze.
Almost immediately the witch came across a patch of mushrooms that sprang up toward her. A little taken back by the experience, she only smiled down as they followed her for a few steps. But nothing good ever comes of Dark Wonderland and instead the little creatures began to kiss her ankles, her shins and calves, a few even managed to jump to place a moldy kiss to her hand. With a shriek she waved and stomped at them, before she turned and bolted off down a darkened, green corridor. In a flash the corridor light up all pink and sparkly, which wasn't such a bad thing really. The witch felt a bit more at ease as she wandered further in, but a quiet whisper behind her quickly drove that feeling away. Even when the invisible speaker offered cuddles on pain of death, it only made Belladonna turned down another corridor. This one dead ended quite quickly and was pungent with a smell the witch couldn't quite place. What was worse was the sudden realization that there were body parts strewn around the dead ended hall, fingers and whole arms and chunks of hair, feathers and pieces of ears. Belladonna went ahead and screamed over the fact that she could easily place what each part belonged to, and that each part was meant to make up a part of a person she cared for. The world went black as she pressed her hands to her eyes and willed this thing to stop. This Wonderland was not fun!
[Belladonna has failed! So exiting!]

((I hope I calculated time correctly))
Some time passed before Neza managed to find enough courage to stand up and try to find her way out of the maze and this time she will go in the opposite direction. Maybe this will bring her little more luck.

Climbing up over the canopy made Freya feel ill. The last thing she wanted at the moment was to be this huge. In fact, even though Kettil was clearly growing alongside her, she didn't want him to see her. It was a shame that being so big made it almost impossible to hide.
She tried, anyway.
Hiding behind a mushroom, she waited to see if he would notice her.

[[void due to my mistake]] Well she took a different turn at the beginning of the maze. The path she had chosen looked exactly the same as the one that failed to lead her to the exit. She even had the same headache she which made her doubt she actually took a different turn. This was all just making her confused and that was making her start wonder if she will ever get out of here.

[4 Bravery] [Also entering. Hi]
Kettil was too busy climbing for a brief moment to notice much of anything. Once he was up and looked for her he only caught a glimpse of damp blue cloth ducking behind the mushroom. He sort of made a face at that as he moved to peek behind it, "Freya. Are you suddenly hiding from me for a reason? Did your dress tear? If so you may borrow my vest."
He was thinking of all the wrong reasons for why she would wish to hide.

Freya screeched when he noticed her, and flung herself into the fog, which was really the worst idea ever. She didn't realize she'd run into fog until she turned and couldn't see Kettil anymore. For a brief second, that was a good thing.
Then, it was a very, very bad thing.
".. Hooter?" She whispered out into the fog, only to hear a song about monkeys fill the air. Over. And over. And over and over and over and over.
Her hands flung to her ears, covering them to keep the noise out.
She dropped to the ground, shaking the noise away, but she felt more of her fling away when she shook. She looked down at her hands, as they began to melt away. Her lips parted to try and scream, but they too melted away. And then a giant straw came at her..
...
Freya swooned, threatening to faint. When she slammed into the ground, the straw was gone, and she was no longer melting. She was in the safety of a pumpkin patch, and she clung to one of the pumpkins for dear life.
It cracked in her hands, until all that was left was a little baby valkyrie.
And another.
And another.
... Why it was just like home! EXCEPT TERRIBLE.
She could hardly see the rainbow glitter beam shine down on her body, because she was already dead to the world, clutching one of the millions of Freya babies and shuddering. She heard someone whispering to her, beckoning her for cuddles that would kill her, and she welcomed it. The cuddles did, indeed kill her.
This place sucked.

He gave chase to her, naturally. As Freya disappeared into the fog, and so did he. His hand reaching for her but he grabbed nothing but air. Kettil let out a small frustrated sound and stared down at the patch of mushrooms. Huh. Nothing odd about that. At least until they started kissing at him.
"NO. BAD TOUCH. BAD. NO." He pushed them away and fled them.
As he walked lost and alone he soon came upon the figure of his youngest sister, Chepi! She was smiling and so he smiled back, "What are you doing here, Little Sister?" He called after her. The small girl just giggled and pointed at a direction and then soon faded away. Ah...
Still, he trusted her even if she was an illusion. He went where she pointed him to.
More walking took place until he happened on a group of 'reapers', there was an order to kill him. Kettil turned on his heels and made a hasty run for it. As he tripped and fell down a small slope he suddenly ended up on the back of a horse.
There was an awkward moment between Muut and equine as they stared at each other before Kettil sheepishly slid off the back of the horse and quickly hurried along. That was probably one of the oddest moments of his life. Soon a scent filled the air making him wrinkle his nose, the further he walked and eventually looked around he was welcomed to a horrible sight.
Parts of his family and friends were strewn about. His eyes grew wide in horror as he gazed upon pikes upon which heads were impaled, his eyes last focusing on the dead gaze of Freya. Her mouth was ajar and spilling blood. Forever and ever and...
Kettil didn't realize he was screaming and sobbing. All he saw was heads impaled on spikes. All he felt was horror of loss, even if it wasn't real. The voice of the caterpillar was drowned out and he ate nothing...

[[void due to my mistake]] Neza stopped like there was an invisible force that took away her ability to walk. She saw the same shadow like the first time. The feeling of dejavu was so strong it made her head spin a bit. She approached the shadow more carefully this time and yet again it disappeared. That was it she must have made the same turn as she did the first time. Which meant only one thing she had to turn back. One straw incident was enough for a life time.

[[void due to my mistake]] Neza thought about cookies the old cook would make for her whenever she was upset to cheer her up. And even though she could only wish she had some of them now the memory of how they tasted cheered her up a bit. And for a bit she forgot about the shadow, the straw and her headache.

Tsukiko was groggy as soon as she found herself in the strange mushroom forest. She was liking this less and less. First shoved down a rabbit hole, then drugged with a growth potion disguised as a tart thing, and now this? She glared (or tried to) at the ugly face of the Caterpillar. Bring it.

What. The. Jack. A maze? Whoever thought this was a great idea... Tsukiko hoped karma would bite them in the posterior. Hard. With one last glare at the Caterpillar, she charged right into the maze. She'd show him.Quote: Tsukiko Mizuchi is a Marine Kirin. Currently a Guest at the Spirit Week Event. She has 5 Bravery Points.
