"I-I agree, Miss... Miss Fuzen..." The added sensation of having her hair stroked sent Sabitsuki into a lull of heavenly comfort. It was like a mother's hand seeking to sooth her child. She could have easily fallen asleep in the Temptress's arms, had the mention of Ibara and Yochi not stirred an interest in the young mirror's mind.

Sabitsuki looked up to Fuzen, her eyes curious and worried. "Ibara was here, too..?! A-And... Miss Yochi?" Why were they here? And together? Had Miss Ibara left Yuuka..? No, she wouldn't have done that. Sabitsuki could still feel the love she held for the gardener, even in the confused state in which she had last seen her.

Fuzen's loving caress continued to work its magic, and Sabitsuki found herself subconsciously tilting her head towards the offending hand, her eyes closing as she did. "N..ng...I-I will have to... to thank Miss Katrina for... taking care of Sis. I hope she returns soon... I-I can't help it, I don't... brush m-my hair...!"
PostPosted: Tue Nov 20, 2012 2:47 pm

Fuzen continued to tenderly stroke Sabitsuki's hair, keeping an arm around the mirror youkai, amused by her reactions to the attention. "Yes. Miss Ibara and Miss Youji happen to come around often, though it is Ibara who does it most often. Miss Youji sends her to check on how the shrine is doing. According to how the little mole puts it, it is a way to 'secure her investment' whatever that may mean," Fuzen giggled holding Sabitsuki close and against her chest with a small smile,"You must how that quirky blonde woman is. Miss Ibara seems to be in complete submission towards her, and because of that, it is Miss Ibara who often comes to the shrine... Which is odd, Is she not exiled of the underground?"

She giggled gleefully continued to pet Sabitsuki and held her,"Oh don't worry, dear Katrina will return in a tiny bit. I suppose my company is not good enough for you, m'dear~?" She seemed to speak jokingly. Sabitsuki was to nice to say she didn't want to be close to Fuzen for one, and secondly, the demon of temptation knew well how to work her magic.

"That explains a lot! Your hair could be so much longer if you brushed it~" Fuzen smiled with a sweet giggle, as she begun to brush her fingers into Sabitsuki's hair,"And your hair is such a wonderful shade of white too. I bet you can stand out anywhere~"

"Miss Ibara does that..? The Mole Lady must have forced her, even after everything that's happened..." Sabitsuki was of course talking about the events that took place not long ago at Yuuka's mansion, after the incident on the mountain. She, along with the gardener's help, had tried to help Ibara with a problem they referred to as "the monster". Before she left them, Sabitsuki had also paid a visit to Miss Youji, who was a "guest" at Yuuka's manor at the time. It didn't end well, and she wasn't able to glean much from the cunning mole either.
"Y-Yes, Miss Ibara was exiled at the mercy of false accusations." Sabitsuki informed Fuzen, still absently pressing into the Temptress's hand. "People think she did something awful, b...but it wasn't really her fault..."

"Oh? N-No, no!"
The Mirror Youkai shifted in Fuzen's arms, returning to look up at her with her bright silvery irises. "That's not what I meant at all, Miss Fuzen! I-I like you too, a-and I'm h..happy to see you! I-It's just... I really want to see Miss Katrina, too..."

The comment Fuzen made about her hair made Sabitsuki blush again, but she couldn't hide her face right now, being in the demon's grasp. The only place to hide would have been... the demon's chest... "I-I guess so... not many people look like me, a-at least down here. I guess you could say I'm...different?" She reached up to gently tug at a lock of her own snowy hair. "...Um...d..do you think I'd look okay with...with longer hair..?"
PostPosted: Fri Nov 23, 2012 4:03 pm

"I have no doubt on it, Miss Youji can be quite manipulative when she wishes~" Fuzen snickered , "She is quite amusing to have around. Always pretending to be level headed and ever knowing ; I bet she has her own weakness. Her own little defect that can be her fall. I have not quite cracked her biggest desire down yet~" Fuzen spoke to herself absently, brushing her fingers into Sabitsuki's hair softly.

"My, I am glad to hear that my company is appreciated~!" The temptress smiled warmly, she then moved her hand to hold Sabitsuki's chin lovingly in her grasp, while pulling her a bit closer by reeling her in with the hand she had on her lower back. She also leaned down to peer into Sabitsuki's eyes with her dark eyes, bringing them face to face. "Mh... Yes! I do think you would look gorgeous with your hair long. Specially when it is so special, and simply you~" There was the small fact that She wasn't peering at her hair but the features in her face, "No doubt indeed~"

When they had that proximity, so open ended to perspective, the tacks of a pair of travelling boots on the wooden floor interrupted the chat," Ma-master Fuzen-!" Katrina gasped, not particularly at Fuzen but at who Fuzen was so close with.
"Oh, Hello Katrina , m'dear~" Fuzen said smiling in her way at Sabitsuki, not breaking their contact physical or othewise,"Would you not agree that this dear would look amazing with long hair~?"
Katrina was boiling with jealousy, and perhaps that was what caused the sligthly crushing aura of malevolence. Of who she was boiling at, it was up to perspective if she was wishing Sabitsuki's place of Fuzen's place. "Yes, she would, Master-Fuzen."
"Oh that is rigth, Sabitsuki has come here today Looking for you," Fuzen smiled at Sabitsuki still, but releasing her chin, she ran her hand through her hair.
"Is that so?" Katrina faked indifference,"I thought... You would never come back here and keep your promise, Sabitsuki, but ... Welcome to Mara's Shrine."To punctuate her sentence she bowed, letting her short hair fall past her face in her well practiced manners.

"Miss Yochi is... different. Sh-she has something she holds dear, but... a-EE--!" Sabitsuki let out another gasp, her thoughts sent astray as Fuzen took her chin, pulling their faces dangerously close together. She could feel the demon's breath on her skin with each word spoken, and the other hand pulling her closer still. Her face lit up in a blush, unable to pull her own gaze away from Fuzen's eyes... "Y...R-Really? I...maybe I should g..grow it out then..."

Before she lost herself any further, a distraction came to her rescue. The voice had called Fuzen by 'Master', and within an instant, Sabitsuki immediately recognized her savior. "Miss Katrina..!" The young Mirror's face lit up in such a way that not even Fuzen's spells could elicit as she turned to face the younger demoness, though still caught in the Temptress's grasp. She shuffled uncomfortably in Fuzen's arms, turning her body a bit more to properly face Katrina. The 'dark shrine maiden' had a somewhat...annoyed appearance? It hurt Sabitsuki to see Katrina in such a sour disposition, but, knowing what she is fully capable of, the aura she felt was nothing to be worried too much about.

"Th-Thank you, Miss Katrina...for having me." Sabitsuki smiled warmly to her, though unable to return the gesture while still at Fuzen's mercy. "But... i-it's true. I promised that...that I'd come visit you, s-so, here I am~ ... ...I-I'm r-really happy to see you, M..Miss Katrina..."
PostPosted: Sat Nov 24, 2012 10:31 am

"Maybe you should~" Fuzen smiled releasing Sabitsuki's face as the mirror youkai turned to face the younger demon. She grinned, "I see that you really where waiting for this little demon~" Fuzen ran a finger down Sabitsuki's neck, teasingly before letting go and flicking her head over her shoulder,"Katrina, why not offer our guest so tea~? I will go tend to some matters now, while you too enjoy your company!"

"Yes, Master Fuzen," Katrina nodded," "Would you like to step to my room, Sabitsuki? While the tea is ready, we haven't had any seats placed here."
"Hehehe, don't have too much fun now~" Fuzen snickered and turned heading out the shrine's door.

".... Right..." Katrina watched her Master leave,"Ah. Thanks for coming today Sabitsuki. I hope Master Fuzen didn't--... Uh... Make you uncomfortable or anything." The demoness headed towards her room, out to the side of the altar,"Excuse me while the tea is ready. You can come over here if you want."

Katrina was unsure of how to act with a welcomed guest. Where had her courtesy gone in these last years?

"Thank you, t..tea sounds wonderful~" Sabitsuki said with a short bow, having now been released from Fuzen's grasp, taking the strange, overwhelming...'urge' along with her. She felt as if a small weight had been lifted off her chest as the Temptress left, yet was also left slightly let down. "...U-Um, no, I didn't mind! Miss Fuzen is really nice...and soft...e-even if she's a little bit cold..." The little Mirror Youkai couldn't help but glance at the door Fuzen had left through.

Catching herself and realizing Katrina was already heading towards her room, Sabitsuki shook her head and reclaimed her lantern, then turned to follow the demoness closely. "I d-don't think I've seen your room before, Miss Katrina... ..." Sabitsuki was uncomfortable and quiet, unsure of how to act around the Seven Sin Youkai. The last two times they had met, they had been enemies, and then suddenly... they had somehow formed a bond in those dark, cold caves on the mountain. Those caves had been different than the Underground, where it's always warm and comfortable... Could the coldness have been the result of Fuzen-Mara resting there? Will that mean the shrine will become cold, too..?

"Um... y-you must be happy to have Miss Fuzen back, huh..?" Sabitsuki finally spoke up, brushing a few stray bangs from her forehead. "I had been hoping for you... and her. I.. I still don't know if what I did w-was right, but... everything seems to have turned out for the best, right?"
PostPosted: Sun Nov 25, 2012 10:26 am

"Yes... Master Fuzen-Mara's skin is always cold. It has been since I can remember," Katrina nodded to Sabitsuki as the two came to the door of her room,"Her arms are oddly,... 'warm', I am sure you know what I am talking about."

Her room had a much warmer appearance, with none of the dark colors of the shrine. In fact, on the small kotatsu at the center of the room there was another lantern, and a small pot with a few of the flowers from the altar. Oddly enough, these had an icy-blue tint to them and still held their outer blooms black color. Against the wall's width rested a small bed, with red sheets and a simply white pillow, while at the side, was the small simple stove Katrina would be using to make the tea. Right next to the stove was a pantry, a long and tall wooden piece of furniture that probably helpd both eating goods and the dishes used by the demoness. "No one has gotten this far into the shrine, you aren't the only one who hasn't seen it."

She motioned for Sabitsuki to come on in and take a seat, as she went to the wooden sturcture and take out the things she would need before turning on the stove. "Yes, I am happy to have Master Fuzen back, she was lucky to get off with an easier seal this time; I think she already broke it to be honest," Katrina said as she poured water from a jug onto the kettle,"..... It did. Now Master is back home, and the shrine has regained it deity, at long last."

Katrina turned to her bed, and walking over, hanged her heavy cloak off the bed post at the head of it. She stretched her wings a bit, having them at full span for maybe five seconds before tucking them back neatly once more,"I hope Master's Games do not give her another prison, but I trust her wit and power, so I think no matter what they try to do to her, she will come back. It has been what has unerved the Shepard again and again through the centuries of their rivalry."

"Your room is very nice, Miss Katrina~" Sabitsuki said, genuinely pleased with the change of scenery. The room looked much more welcoming than the rest of the shrine did, and was even properly lit. Now slightly more at ease, Sabitsuki nodded to Katrina's motions and took a seat at the kotatsu, turning down the fuel output of her own lantern in the process until the flame inside went out.

"She... already broke free from her punishment? ...W-Well, she doesn't seem to want to cause any trouble... Miss Fuzen looks like she's happy to be here...again..." Sabitsuki watched as Katrina removed her cloak, curious of the demon's large wings. She had never taken the time to properly view the intricate markings on them, but now seeing them close up for the first time, Sabitsuki couldn't help but marvel at their odd beauty. "How pretty...U...um, wh-what can you tell me about the Shepard-Lady? Has she and Miss Fuzen truly been at odds for so long? A-And, now that she's here, what will become of the shrine?"

The little Mirror had a lot of questions for the demon. She looked to Katrina with hopeful eyes, her hands crossed and resting on her lap. With her pure, snowy visage, it was easy to see how out of place Sabitsuki must seem in the Underground. "I..I'm sorry, Miss Katrina... a-am I asking too many questions? I'm just...interested in the shrine, th..that's all..."
PostPosted: Mon Nov 26, 2012 5:15 pm

"Not broken because of the court, her magic is strong enough to break the seal that is meant to seal her in this shrine," Katrina said turning to face Sabitsuki again,"Of all the seals that have been placed on her, Master Fuzen-Mara has broken many, only two truly remain on her. Those are her corporal body, and the chains attached to her waist and wrists. One makes her capable of feeling pain, the second is a crippling restrain on her magic." The demoness explained coming to stand across from Sabitsuki for the while, "She truly does not mean trouble, she has long passed that part of her demonhood. She simply wants to exist, much like I do. Our existance is our punishment, here were the sun can't ever touch our eyes, we want to be left alone. No human nor youkai wishes to look upon us, and we find comfort in the mutual companionship... It hasn't been until now that the mole and her oni-slave have come to visit that we are seeing other people not afraid or intimidated of us."

Katrina carefully sat down, moving her dress back to sit infront of the white youkai,"I do not mind the questions. Those are things I had time to think over my time alone in the shrine." She scratched at the bottom of her jaw thougthfully,"The shepard is the light a deceased soul sees when they die. She guides the lost from where they roam to the Shinigami or the Ferryman, calming them and subsuding them to following with her staff. She has cleansing powers, she hersel is a spirit too; as old as Fuzen-sama, she is, even when she has never aged after this time," Katrina leaned her elbows on the small table,"The shepard is the reason Master Fuzen exists. When master Fuzen was mean to be taken to the Sanzu, The Shepard allowed her time, and with the rage and confusion master Fuzen was in, she strayed from her path. Ever since then, the Shepard has hunted Master Fuzen as it where her dying goal."

Now staring into Sabitsuki's eyes with her tired and emotionally unstable dark eyes, Katrina leaned on palm, takin the time to tuck the hair that usually covered the right of her face behind an ear. It exposed the extension of the marks on her left arm and wings. Apparently, Katrina was at ease here with Sabitsuki, "The Shrine will continue to be. It may hain followers now that its deity is back. The mole seems interested in making it suceed for whatever reason."

Sabitsuki listened intently to Katrina as the demoness explained all there was to the dark shrine and its deity, nodding to key points in the conversation. The Seven Sin Youkai was incredibly knowledgeable about what she spoke of, much to Sabitsuki's surprise. She had never questioned Katrina's intelligence, but rather, she had never suspected her to care so much.

While listening to her story, Sabitsuki had absentmindedly leaned her elbows on the kotatsu's surface, and rested her chin in the palm of one hand. She had a light smile on her face, the small lantern's fire between the two Youkai shining off her reflective irises. "I see...the Shepard-lady was a strange woman. She had such a unique aura around her, but I never could have guessed that she played such an important role to the world..." She drew absently on the table with her other hand's index finger as she spoke, tracing circles in the wood.

"I...don't really know what to think about life or death. I can only see what other people do, and see what they feel... t..to be honest, I've been lucky in that I've never had anyone close to me d--..pass away yet." Sabitsuki continued, her eyes wandering around the room. "Big Sis is an Oni, a-and Oni live for a long, long time... Miss Keine has gotten older, but she's still a strong woman. I should go visit her soon~"

"...I-I'm sorry, I strayed from the topic..!" Sabitsuki sat up straighter where she rested. "I wonder, why is Miss Youji so interested in the shrine's success..? P..Perhaps she's found faith in Miss Fuzen? But, that doesn't sound like her... Tell me, M-Miss Katrina, is there something that your Master can provide for her? There must be some reason behind it..." Thinking about it, Fuzen-Mara's most devious trick is to replicate a person close to the victim's heart. Knowing what she does, Sabitsuki can't help but wonder if Yochi is using Fuzen's ability for a certain twisted purpose...
PostPosted: Tue Nov 27, 2012 4:44 pm

"That is good that you have not seen death, I suppose," Katrina said watching Sabitsuki over the light of the oil lantern," You lived in the human village?...I never liked that place very much."

"I rather not know. The mole has no faith other than in her own skill and schemes. I have no doubt she has something planned, but Master Fuzen is unsure of what. I do watch her every time, and closely, but no matter how I try to instigate her, there is no way through to her," Katrina leaned back, "She is so damn corrupted. There is really no hope for that woman. I can't see her doing anything for anyone that does not ultimately benefit her in the end. I have a bit of paranoia of what she will ask in exchange for freeing Master Fuzen, but I will worry about that when she asks for payment."

She stood to serve the tea, her wings staying neatly tucked behind her as she moved to work. The demon thought of it a bit,"Master Fuzen is a very strong demon, even if she usually means no real harm. I am sure you of all people are aware of this. I am sure the mole will try to exploit that, or her abilities to subdue people into thinking her way."

"The power of temptation is great; without temptation sin would not exist.." The Seven Sin Youkai said, " Anyone falling to their deepest desire are vulnerable, and easy to bend. That is the power of Master Fuzen's abilities. Anyone with brains could exploit her skills, but they would need to deal with Master Fuzen's own spirit, so being able to bend Master Fuzen to comply to any plan is nearly impossible... In that respect I do not fear the mole achieving whatever she may want with Fuzen-sama."

She turned around with a small platter of wood with the tea cups.

Sabitsuki noticed a certain detest that carried through Katrina's voice as she spoke of the Human Village, as well as in the aura that still emanated from her being. She feared she may have stumbled on a sensitive topic, but chose to press on regardless. "Y-Yes, I was born in the Human Village...w-well, not really 'born'...I-I don't really know how I came to be." She tapped her finger lightly on the table in thought. "I just...woke up one day... I felt like I'd been waiting for a long time for something that never came. I got lonely, a-and nobody would look at me... they just called me names, and...and threw things at me. That's how I got my name, you know..? Kaibutsu... means Monster." Despite the nature of her story, Sabitsuki still held the same soft smile as she looked to Katrina from across the kotatsu. "But, that was...before I was me. I was born from a mirror, you know... an old, rusty mirror that nobody wanted... they thought I was haunted, like I was an evil spirit waiting to hurt them. I guess they were only half-right."

"When I woke up, I didn't have anywhere to go... so I wandered the village for about a month. It was really scary to sleep alone at night, in the dark... but then, I met a lot of nice people, like Sis, Akira and Mizuki, and then Miss Keine... she let me stay at the school she ran, so I'd always have a place to go home to. She would even keep a candle lit by my bedside, s-so I wouldn't be afraid of the dark... And then, when I got older, I moved to the Underground so I could be close to Sis."

Sabitsuki's face lit up in a blush again. She had strayed from the topic again without realizing it! She pressed her hands into her lap, sitting up straighter than before, her eyes locked on the kotatsu in front of her. "I-I'm sorry, M-Miss Katrina..! I just..." She trailed off, unknowing how to excuse herself. Instead, she tried to pick up where they had left off; "...U-Um...to be honest, I've never been able to look into Miss Fuzen's shadow. When I'm close to her, I feel like...my chest is going to burst. I want to get away, but at the same time, I-I can't move... I just want to stay in her arms forever, a-and when she touches me..." Just thinking about the kind of power the temptress held over herself made Sabitsuki flustered, turning her cheeks a shade almost matching her shawl. "Um...th-that being said, I can never quite tell what she's thinking. B-But, I do agree with you in that I feel she just wants to live peacefully here in her own shrine, and with you as..." Telling Katrina that she was Fuzen's servant didn't really appeal to Sabitsuki.

The young Mirror shuffled uncomfortably where she sat, worry on her face. "I really hope Miss Youji doesn't do anything to try and harm either of you... she's terribly strong on her own, able to...to match Yuuka Kazami in battle. I fear what she's capable of... she's smart, devilishly cunning, and... cruel..." At that last word, Sabitsuki absently raised a hand to touch her shoulder, where bandages lay completely concealed under her shawl from her previous encounter with the Mole. She wished she could speak of the small fragment she had gleaned from the short woman, but couldn't out of fear for her own life...
PostPosted: Fri Nov 30, 2012 6:52 am

"I am glad to hear not everyone finds fates like I did in the human village. Perhaps the youkai in the village have made it a more diverse-tolerant place, " Katrina said almost absently, thinking back on her stay in the village,"... My last day in the Village, I met Yuuka Kazami." She almost seethed the word out of her lips, the name a bit forcefully pryed from her being. "You met the oni and the judge in the village? That is interesting and hardly possible to believe, but since the spellcard rules, humans and youkai have been able to exist more peacefully."

Katrina listened to Sabitsuki speak about the effects Fuzen had on her,"No, no, that is what is natural. I had alot of trouble being around her, even more the first few months when.... when I turned into this..." She trailed of sligthly but shook her head,"She is bewitching and intoxicating, and being imune to her charms is near to impossible. You would have to think of something that would prevent you from sinning, someone who would kill the temptation.... but even then it is hard to resist Master Fuzen's charms."

"That she is. I've seen her hurt that hornless-brute to damage someone else like it was nothing; I honestly thought she was a bit more humane, to that idiot anyway," The sinful youkai responded," She is a bit scary and i intimidating despite her stout and childish apperace."

Taking notice of Sabitsuki's sudden silence and gesture towards her shoulder, Katrina leaned forward to speak,"Did she do something to you...?"

"You've...met Yuuka in the past..?" Sabitsuki asked, a little shocked. The last she had heard Yuuka speak of the demoness, the gardener had spoke of how she had killed her. She realized now that Yuuka must have meant something different, but to know there was such hateful tension between the two, and for so long. Yuuka was a long-lived Youkai, so it certainly wasn't inconceivable that she had meet Katrina when she was still...Katrina.

"Ah, b-but, I have no reason to lie to you, Miss Katrina..." the Mirror Youkai said in her own defense, her eyes leveling with the demoness's again. "I really did meet Akira and her shinigami, a-and that was where I met Sis as well..." Thinking back to the day, she had taunted and made fun of Akira a lot. Sabitsuki never saw the Judge-in-training after those few days, and had always wondered if perhaps that was the reason why. Maybe Akira had forgotten about her altogether?

Sabitsuki realized the nervous attention she was paying to her shoulder. She quickly started rubbing, as if trying to convey she was only seeking heat. "N-No, I'm fine! I-I'm just...just a little cold, that's all..." She was obviously lying, as Katrina's room was undoubtedly warmer than the rest of the shrine. "...Yuuka...has been trying to help Miss Ibara overcome her dependency on the Mole-lady. When I visited a few days ago, all three of them were in her manor, in the Garden of the Sun." Sabitsuki explained, her hand not really leaving her shoulder. "It was while we were still in the caves together, Miss Katrina. When Ibara left with me, we headed to Yuuka's manor, where... where I was asked to perform my ability on the Oni. Out of respect, I won't say what I found, b-but... what I did find seemed to help Miss Ibara in a backwards way. After that, a-as Yuuka was tending to Miss Ibara, I went to check on Miss Youji, who had been resting in another room. I...I-I concealed myself as Yuuka, s-so she wouldn't try an..anything..." Sabitsuki's gaze fell to the table again, she herself sinking a bit where she sat. "Wh..wh, when I g-got close... I t..tried to look into her...her heart, a-and...and--"

Sabitsuki cringed visibly, the memory of the stone knife being ripped so violently through her flesh still fresh in her mind. She was close to tears as she continued to speak, her eyes dull and still fixed on the kotatsu, as if looking into some far-distant land. "S..Somehow, she saw through my illusion. M-Miss Youji was furious, like...l-like nothing I'd ever seen before... If it wasn't for Yuuka, a-and Miss Ibara, I...I'd..." Slowly, the Mirror Youkai lifted the side of her shawl, revealing bloodied bandages covering a wound that had yet to heal. It was obvious they had been changed recently, but the severity of the wound made quick work to sully them again. Sabitsuki stifled a sob by covering her mouth.
