At the mere mention of a buffet, Riyo's eyes widened and got all shiny-like. There was a chance she might've been salivating as well. "I uh... I don't want to impose." Though she was still a proud person, and very stubborn about money.
"I don't know if-" A sound like cries from the depths of Hell came from her stomach, as if it became angry that she'd try to deny it. "... I could accept such a generous offer." Oh, pride was a b***h.

Hel just gave Riyo a look like ‘b***h you cray’. She then snorted and leapt up to her face, jutting her glorious burdens out haughtily, resting her hands on her hips. “Riyo, please. You are not modest, so do not even try to act like it now. Take what is being offered. It is yours, all yours, and folly on anyone else who tries to get in your way!”
The ghoul let out a bellowing laughing then, tossing her head back and…it was a bit maniacal…but then again, Hel was always a little weird.
She then abruptly stopped and stared down at the ghoul. “If your shoes are not on in the next thirty seconds I am leaving your boney a** here.”

That was all the valkyrie had to say to get Riyo off her boney a** and into the closet, tossing on a pair of boots and a warm sweater before sliding back out anxiously. Food. She was going to eat warm food. Good thing, too. If she lost anymore weight it would come out of her boobs next, and being an A cup would probably deflate her ego completely.
"Lets go!" The feline practically rushed out of the door, grabbing a scarf off of her coat rack before heading out to the hall.

Hel watched Riyo get worked up into a sudden panic and then laughed. “That is more like it!” She cried. Hel had, luckily, already came over in her boots and warmer clothes, so she was hot on Riyo’s heels, blowing kisses to all her cats before she closed the door behind them. The ghoul then led the cat demoness to a decent buffet. A decent one. Hel may have had seeds, but she didn’t have as much as a….usual demon might had. Once they were seated, Hel threw off her coat and then rolled up her sleeves. The look she gave Riyo meant srs bizness. “ Let us do this.”

Right now, Riyo could care less if it was a Murkdonalds or the top of the line dining experience on the demon strip. She hungered. Her stomach cried for retribution. Retribution for the days upon weeks of suffering at the hands of a single can of tuna a day.
Much like Hel, the cat ghoul's coat was left hanging on her seat, and her belt buckle was loosened by one hole. The feline shot the same stare back at her valkyrie friend, hands slamming down on the table. "My body is ready."
Right before she made a mad dash towards the chicken legs that had been calling her name since they walked in.

And that was the story of how, on this one day, the buffet took down their ‘all you can eat’ sign and Riyo and Hel were banned from ever coming back. The end. Hel’s spirits didn’t seem to be dampened in the least by that though, shown by her swagger into Riyo’s room and the grin on her face. “Ha! That was a most excellent meal!” She cheered…totally not caring at all that they had been banned. If anything, she seemed proud of it. “I hope you are full, friend!”

So much chicken. Riyo had eaten... So much chicken.
Walking back to the dorm, you could almost consider the feline's strut a waddle. She had stuffed herself until there was not a crevice left for her body to store it. Did it bother her that they'd been kicked out? No. Especially considering she'd managed to store a few extra legs in her inside coat pocket. Her cats would eat well tonight.
"I don't think... I could possibly eat another bite." Her comment was followed by a burp, covering her mouth immediately after. "S'cuse me."
The cat ghoul fell back into her office chair with a big sigh, patting her stomach and trying to impress upon her mind what it felt like to be full. It wasn't until a moment after that Riyo realized she had yet to thank her friend for it. "Hey, uh.." She tapped her fingers together and looked away. "Thanks... For that." Hel had, almost literally, saved her a** this time (what little she had, anyways).

Once in Riyo’s room, Hel occupied herself with…stuffing her hands down the front of her tunic. … Only to pull out two lobsters, three Cornish hens, a rib-eye steak, some baked potatoes, a tub of pasta salad, and a basket of rolls. Grinning, she dumped all the stuff onto the counter and then spun on her heel to face Riyo. How…did she fit all that? Well, the answer was simple. Hel’s bra and bosom was also an inter-dimensional space pocket. Obviously. “It was my pleasure, friend!” She announced rocking on her heels. She then jabbed a thumb back at the goods she had smuggled out of the buffet. “For you, as well…and when that runs out…come see me, alright? I always make a ton of stew and I am giving some to Mot, and Mac…and Shun…and I can add you to the list as well!” Hel beamed. She liked feeding her friends.

Riyo looked... Both horrified and concerned at her friend's sudden actions. What was she...? Why was she...?
Oh. OH. The feline did nothing to hide her dropping jaw as the various food items emerged from such a precarious place. It might've taken her mouth a few moments to catch up with her mind. "Sweet screaming skeletons Hel. How the ******** did you manage that?" The ghoul squeaked, leaning forward in her chair to examine the counter.
Then thought about the question she asked. "N-nevermind. I don't want to know." Not because the answer might've been inherently dirty, but for the simple fact that some mysteries were best left unsolved.
As Hel carried on with her generous offerings, her friend's stare became blank. She looked at the valkyrie, then the counter, then back to Hel again. It didn't seem real, to be honest. Why would someone so willingly give to one as stubborn and sometimes intolerable as the feline? It was something the ghoul thought about a lot. Something she lost sleep over. From Hel, it was obviously not pity. There was not an ounce of pity in that woman. So... What then?
For a moment, she felt like a burden. Like she was taking advantage of someone's kindness.
It was always something though, wasn't it? If she wasn't taking advantage of them, they were just out for her money. Or just wanted to prove her wrong. Or some other petty excuse. Without a moment's hesitation, she continued to look a gift horse in the mouth on a daily basis.
Was it such a farfetched idea that truly, for all her faults, someone cared? Just because they could. Or because in some capacity, she might've been worth it to them.
Riyo had never noticed how happy Hel could look when she was looking at her.
Slowly, the feline stood back up and approached her friend. It looked like she was fighting with herself about something, and that something became apparent when she wrapped her arms around the valkyrie. Albeit awkwardly, considering Riyo had never hugged anyone before.
"No. Really... Thank you."

Hel was rather happy a lot of times when she looked at Riyo, and she was rather happy as she stared at the feline who had gone silent. Though the happy look was now intermixed with confusion as the demoness continued to sit there and just stare. Uh…did she not like stew? Hel thought she would…it had meat…and a few vegetables in it…and Hel had seen Riyo destroy the chicken legs at the buffet so… The valkyrie’s brows furrowed. “Uh…” She was about to ask if everything was alright, until the ghoul finally did something and stood. She watched as Riyo came over and then hesitated. “Is everything…” She paused once more when the cat demoness wrapped her arms around her awkwardly. Oh. Well, Hel was pretty happy once more, and the confusion melted away from her face, only to be replaced by a huge grin as she threw her dark arms around the ghoul. She hugged her tightly to her. “Ya, I know, Riyo. I know.”
