i'm dealing with the emotional ups and downs of some stranger ._. he owns a role-play i'm in, but it seems like he's gonna close it, which is a terrible shame since i really liked it = n =

Ohh, I think I get it; so first gens are like, the first ones, before the item starts evolving? So they'll have all of the things that the item can evolve into, is that right? And ooh, that would be wonderful. <3 Here's some of my most recent samples (well, works in progress; I still have to finish colouring and add their backgrounds): >o>' I do apologise in advance if they're pretty big. I can also do non-chibi work like the two below, although I don't have any recent/finished samples for that style (those were done at least a year or two ago).

First Gen is the original, generally doesn't have the fact that it's multiple generations in its name
Best i can tell, with the newer items, once the first finishes evolving, the second generation comes out and starts evolving. This keeps going until each change has a generation (so an item that evolves five times has five generations, one that evolves 13 times has 13 generations), or maybe all changes and one extra, not quite sure.
Eventually, though, all generations have all the items. Evolving item bundles create a new generation of the items in it, such as Runcible Spoon 3rd Gen.
This can actually cause a massive price drop, especially if the item is unpopular with the masses.
