Alexa winced when Apolla was paralyzed. Now was the time for sure attack moves. "Use Faint Attack!" She called out.
"I suppose it could be either of those really." Apolla replied with a small nod, "She certainly does...." She never finished as suddenly all of her muscles seized up and she could barely move. She was glad that Mari only paralyzed her and not just full out shocked her.
She ignored the command given and decided to give Mari the same sort of attack she inflicted on her. Sort of the same as a burn would be different than paralysis. Her mouth opened and flames shot out heading for Mari.

Alexa put a hand up against her head on top of her hat. Apolla really wasn't listening at all. "Come on Apolla use Faint Attack!" She called out.
Apolla was shocked and hurt when hit with the attack. Not her feelings but physically. That thunderbolt hurt! She opened her mouth and unleashed some more flames.

Alexa sighed and shook her head. "Apolla! Now! Please!" Apolla again was hit and she winced. "Yes they can be. So pushy." She replied, "Sure lunch sounds good. I can always sneak away from my trainer but she lives so far away now. I don't know how we would meet up unless she was in town or something." Apolla cocked her head as she considered the suggestion. She belatedly tried to avoid the attack but was shocked. "That sounds like a plan. It'll be easy to get away then." She said. She then disappeared and reappeared just before Mari. Apolla shivered at the wind that came from Mari. "Hm... so it would seem. I suppose my human will be happy. I truthfully don't care much for battling." She admitted before disappearing. She then reappeared just in front of Mari and lightly tapped her with a paw. "Shall we meet up in say 20 minutes from now? Apolla nodded and walked back to her trainer. After she was healed she'd find a way to meet up with Mari. There was much to talk about with the Gastly. Once she reached Alexa she was recalled.
"Thank you!" Alexa called out after recalling her Ninetails. She looked down at the pokeball and shook her head. She didn't know what to make of this battle. It was the first time any of her pokemon had disobeyed her commands like that. Thinking about the battle she left the stadium heading for the pokemon center.
