A sideways "took you long enough" glance at Madeline. Somewhere under all that annoyance was general relief that the girl was okay.
Ami stared at the large central cavern that was their goal. It was undoubtedly guarded well. As skilled as Otto and Wilson were, she doubted even they could detect the traps that lurked here.
Traps which Ami had just triggered. She took one step and tripped a seemingly invisible wire, sending an arrow right into her side. Ami hissed and writhed, but all she could think was SYDNEYYYYYYYYY.
