"Thank you! Your Pokemon did really well too!" Dreidyn didn't pick up the falseness of Cetus's compliment and took it graciously. She put on a smile on her face for her and kept it on even as she glanced over at the scoreboard. As much as she wished it weren't true, Cactus took too much damage to get a good score. She didn't blame him for that though, since he did his best to make a marvelous performance anyway. And she couldn't accept the loss until the judges make their final decision.
Dreidyn really wanted to run onto the stage and hug the poor battered Cactus, but the coordinators weren't allowed to do so yet. The Joltik's body was heaving with each breath, though he didn't look quite as tired as he did while battling. Now that he had a chance to rest without worrying about a retaliation, he could focus on resting and waiting for the results to show.
