Damu would take Renzi's word on family matters since she seemed to be so unhappy with the fact that she had one. Having one or two relatives might be nice, but of course who was she to question the judgement of someone who actually had said relatives? And truth be told it didn't take long for her to think up different reason for them to be more of a nusiance than helpful.

For starters she doubted that everyone was as keen on exploring and discovering as Renzi and Damu seemed to be. When climbing towering heights, they probably felt fear rather than the pure excitment of being so far above the ground.
Or when trapped, they would panic and maul over how to escape rather than just doing so. Risking everything in exchange for something small, for the sake of knowing where something was, what it did, how it came to be there. All these things were probably not as common as Damu would be pleased for them to be...

"Alright." She nodded in agreement. Hearing the voice of her new companion reach her in her mad maze of thoughts. She lifted her head for a moment, examined her surroundings once more and then suddenly, turned left. It would take them briefly out of the vast forest, onto a stretch of savannah that was commonly used as hunting grounds for land-beasts. It was also conveintly in the same direction as the mountain path was. And it was near the tree line, which provided shade for any tired hunters who needed a break from the heat.

The leopardess nodded, her eyes only temporarly in lock with Renzi's, as she began to wander over to the stretch of trees. Allowing her mind to get lost in a world of thoughts as she walked. She managed to skip back to present time when she sensed a rather large shadow loom over her.

Ah, a tree. Or more specific, a lot of them. All clustered together providing the perfect amount of shade. She almost purred with delight, as if she had forgotten that it was her who had thought of this place to begin with. But setting her forgetfulness aside, Damu layed down on the grass, pleased with the change in scenery.

She felt a ping of uselessness though, Renzi was going to go and hunt for the two of them since Damu had no knowledge of hunting the beasts that existed out on the plains. It was probably knowledge worth having too. Perhapes later she'd ask Renzi to teach her how to hunt them... It couldn't have been to hard after all...
