She mirrors his shrug. The food did smell nice "What is Tick it? Beef?" Even if she didn't taste anything, that didn't stop her from knowing what it smelled like. And even if it had smelled like chemicals before, it smelled a bit like beef now. "It's pleasant."

Taddeo nodded again, yes it did smell good, yes it was beef flavor. He leaned over and turned off the stove. Moving the pot off the hot burner he hopped off the stool he was using to cook in order to go get himself a bowl. He pulled a second one out with it and made an offering motion towards the girl, Phylllida.

She shakes her head, shooing the plate away "The flavor would Tick be lost on me Taddeo; you enjoy it. My Tock thanks for the offer though." She thinks for a moment "Do Tick you mind if I sit with you while you eat?" It was either that, or stand awkwardly. He didn't seem to be one for conversation, and it was nice to just be able to sit with someone and not have to think of how to start conversation.

The green boy shook his head, no he didn't mind, as he put the extra bowl away in the cabinet. Then he walked back towards the stove and dished himself up some soup. He put the pot back on the warm burner so the rest would stay warm and then put the bowl up on the kitchen table and clambered into a chair. Yes food. Yes. You will be eaten right now.

She jumps up into the seat beside him, pulling at the tattered hem of her dress to clean her glasses. One of the lenses fall out and she winces, reversing the time so that it was still a part of the glasses. She does her best not to stare; it's considered rude.

Taddeo was enjoying the companionable silence while eating his snack. It wasn't often that people were able to sit in silence, usually he had to listen to all sorts of nervous babble because people didn't know how to simply be with others. The constant stream of babble was annoying so this silence was a nice change.

Phyl looks down at her apron, noticing a few new tears on it. They were most likely from when she and Cupid were playing hide and go seek earlier. Phyl mentally scolds herself; how was hiding in a thorn bush a good idea? She sighs, pulling her apron off and drawing a few needles and some thread from it. She begins to see the tears, occasionally pricking her thumb.

Taddeo got up to refill his bowl then returned and glanced at what Phyllida was doing. Sewing. Interesting, he'd never had to do anything like that and Guilia wasn't one for sewing either, just cooking. He vaguely wondered how long her dress would be able to be mended before it was all thread and no fabric.

She notices him looking, smiling apologetically "Sorry, I Tick feel bad using the Tock outfits the elder gives me, so I Tick have to mend mine Tock constantly. I've had this dress for two years." It looked it too.

Taddeo wondered why she felt bad. Wasn't it guardian's jobs to help kids with clothes? And was that the only dress she had, what did she do when she had to have it cleaned? "Why?" He asked, hoping she'd understand what he was asking about.

She tilts her head "Why do Tick I feel bad for Tock accepting Tick clothes from the Tock elder?" She taps her chin, looking sad for a moment. "I am Tock not sure. I never Tick really feel happy when Tock things are provided to Tick me...it Tick makes me feel pitiful. And Tick I suppose in a way I Tock don't feel as if I Tick deserve their kindness."

Taddeo didn't understand why she would feel that way. It's not like she was an adult and able to care for herself. Did this mean she didn't like people teaching her how to do things too? How strange. "It's their job." He said. Surely if it wasn't about her being pathetic, and more about someone else doing what they're supposed to do she would see some sense. Then again, emotions didn't make sense.

She frowns before smiling slightly "I guess that's Tick another way to look at it..." She swings her feet, finishing sewing the apron and putting it back on. The white garment was riddled with blood splotches, but the threads were expertly and carefully stitched back together. She smiles at him more brightly, although with her naturally intimidating disposition it only came off as a creepy grin "thank you."

Taddeo shrugged, he wasn't sure why she was thanking him but at least now he'd decided that her creepy factor wasn't intentional. "Why thank me?" She really didn't like to explain herself apparently.

she frowns, tapping her chin "you gave me a Tick better way to view the situation Tock other than feelin pitiful..." She smiles "I Tick knew your opinion would be interesting. So thank Tick you for that."
