But I like this one too.

Kitalpha Hart i'm not really into lolita (though i might draw something like it), but i seem to make some lolita-style avis... here's a link to a thread about it The problem is that not all the information is correct in the thread. The second link I provided is more accurate. Personally, if someone is going to do an information thread, they should at least have links to get more information. Also, I would have at least confirmed some of the information before doing it.

I would suggest this website for a better definition and info. Lolita Fashion I love that site. I use that as my main source of Lolita information these days. It's the second link I posted in the first post.

BPN is certainly a much cheaper brand than Moitie, Of course, Moitie is really just way too much money.

Yup. I had a lot of good sites for Lolita on my old laptop, so I have to find them again. I just remembered that site.

I have to fight my mom tooth and nail so I can get it as accurate as I can. Usually we end up with a compromise. No one has said anything yet that I'm doing something wrong with Lolita. Then again, it seems that Americans tend to be lax on the rule of Lolita.

I love sailor suits and dresses, therefore, I choose the Sailor Lolita, ("other" in poll). I think sailor dresses are just adorable and cute! heart

I actually really adore all incarnations of lolita. Honestly what i love about it is the modern twist on old fashion as well as the very flattering and feminine silhouettes. Literally ANYONE can look good in lolita style when accessorized properly! And I love that. Plus the layering and vivid patterns and themes make it soooo cool to customize. A girl can really come into her own style with lolita as a good vehicle!

A girl can really come into her own style with lolita as a good vehicle! Me too. But the ones I listed in my first post are my absolute favorite. The only problem with a few types is that it's a delicate balance between the theme and Lolita. But when it's done right, it's really nice.
Tell that to my mom.... I have to fight her on having an accurate skirt, but she says it would make me look even fatter than I already am. (I'm really overweight) But everyone says my outfits look nice.
But yeah.... I really got into designing clothes because of Lolita. The outfits I design are mostly J-Fashion, but it has a more Western feel then Eastern so it could be accepted more widely if I actually make my own clothing line.
