"...Yeah haunted house has a way of doin' that sometimes," Jude said with a small shrug and a bit of a smile. He was basically indifferent to the whole thing. The young man had never met a student that he liked - mostly he disliked the lot of them but he wouldn't vocalize his views to just anyone. At the question of games he thought about it, "Just about any games, really. Just as long as it's kinda entertaining."
Fun seemed to be a relative term, he found.
Once she started jogging he moved with her, keeping her pace.

"Are ya any good at playin' cards? Ah brought a pack'a 'em wit' me when Ah came, was the only thing Ah carried ta Deus." Ofelia hadn't played many card games that didn't require a single person so she was more than willing to learn how to play with partners. Or maybe she could read Jude's fortune, she hadn't done that in such a long time either. She could be getting rusty if she wasn't careful and then what would she do if she needed to properly tell a fortune?
Ofelia didn't think anyone would ask for fortunes anyway but whatever. The sand was awkward beneath her feet as she marched along, her knee almost giving out at one point, but she did her best to keep her pace. If she did anything different now there was a chance she could hurt herself more despite having Rue to help along the process. If she twisted her knee that would just be so shameful. "Ah dunno many card games though which is sad."
