~Rio Ayame Treise~ I hate being called a monster... It was obvious Aria was troubled now, with that information. Hanna could see that, and knew that Rio might have trouble handling all that as well if she were to tell him. But it'd be better to tell him now, rather than later. She sat there silently for a few minutes, thinking about it. Shaking her head, looking at Aria. "If you wait to tell him, you won't like the outcome. It would be best to tell him today if anything." Rio slid out of his bed now, awake. He went to his closet for a change of clothes. Rifling through the closet, he was a little lost in thought, wondering how today would turn out. I wonder if Aria is already awake? Above him, in the closet, was a shelf with boxes stacked. Various things he'd kept around in them. Some of them were stacked precariously, and looked like they might fall any moment. Before Rio walked away from the closet, one of the boxes tipped too much over the edge of the shelf and hit him in the head. Stumbling to the floor, Rio rubbed the back of his head. "Ow, what in the world?" The boxes contents had spilled out onto the floor. Groaning still from getting hit in the head, Rio looked down at everything on the floor. Grabbing the box, he started gathering the stuff that had fallen out, putting it all back. But he stopped at the sight of one thing, his eyes wide. It was the wedding invitation from a cousin of his, from some years ago. That wedding had never happened though, due to a tragic turn of events. But what he was shocked at now, looking at that invitation after so long, was the picture in it of his cousin Derek and his fiance. And yet, even I think I am one...

Aria Viviana Fiorella Speranza "Thank you for the advice Miss Hanna. I should go and talk to him about it now then."Aria said before getting up out of the chair to go wash her face and blow her nose."Wait, would Rio be up and awake by now usually?." Aria asked as it was still early morning still. She didn't want to wake him if he was still asleep.
She was glad that someone in Derek's family had gotten her out of that hell hole yesterday and not someone else.Had Derek's spirit somehow led Rio to me? To get me out of there before a cruel master could come claim me instead? Aria wondered as she waited to hear back from Hanna.

~Rio Ayame Treise~ I hate being called a monster... Hanna practically bolted from where she was sitting when Aria said she should go talk to him now. "W-wait!!" She knew Rio would probably still be in his room, and Aria wasn't supposed to go there. And, she wasn't sure whether he'd be awake, and if he was, if there was anything Aria would see. Like Rio's wings, or those scars. "A-ah, He keeps odd hours sometimes. Rio may be awake and somewhere in the house right now....or, well...uh..." Hanna was trying to keep from saying anything she shouldn't. If Aria asked, Hanna would probably answer any questions she had, except if the question was about what Rio was. Rio had gotten himself cleaned up, and dressed, the whole time thinking about what he just came across. That old invite, Derek and his fiance...Aria. He didn't know what to think, how to react, finding this out. Did Aria know anything about this yet, that Rio was a cousin of Derek's. I should talk with her about this... Taking the invite with him, Rio stopped at the door, turning back and going into the bathroom. This might be a good idea to take with me. It was a box of tissues, in case there were tears... Based on the manner of the conversation, there probably would be tears. So tissues, definitly a good idea. Leaving his room, Rio went by Aria's room, knocking on the door, before peeking in and seeing she wasn't there. I wonder where she is right now? Rio went downstairs, walking past different rooms, wondering where she was. He was also thinking about what exactly he would say. Going down the hall, where the library and music room were, after checking elsewhere. The closer he got to the music room, he heard voices. That's Hanna...and Aria....What are they talking about. He felt slightly panicked thinking about them speaking, since Hanna was the one that knew...well, everything. Once at the door, Rio cleared his throat to get their attention. "Hanna...I need to speak with Aria, alone please." When Hanna saw Rio standing there, "Oh, of course, I'll leave you two then." Looking to Aria, she gave her a small smile...as an 'it'll be okay' sort of thing. Walking out of the room, Hanna went off to go to whatever task she had to do. When she left, Rio moved a little closer to Aria, he held out the box of tissues for her, since it already seemed like she needed them. The invite was in his other hand. And yet, even I think I am one...

Aria Viviana Fiorella SperanzaWhen she looked over at Rio after he came into the music room, she noticed that he was carrying the wedding invite in one hand and a box of issues in the other."Thank you," Aria said softly as she took the box of tissues from him and went back to the chair from from earlier and sat down. She blew her nose several times and wondered who would speak up first.

~Rio Ayame Treise~ I hate being called a monster... Rio fidgeted, awkwardly in the spot he was standing, while Aria went to sit down, taking the tissues with her. He really wasn't sure what to do, stand? sit? speak? If he did speak up, what the heck was he supposed to say. Moments like this, left Rio out of sorts, as he really wasn't good at knowing how to deal with them. Actually, that was how Rio was with pretty much everything...lost, for lack of a better word. He finally decided it might be a better idea to sit, so he sat in the chair across from Aria. "Um...I'm sorry...I mean, I didn't realize until a little while ago. You and Derek..." Rio held out the invite to her, really not sure what to say now. Why was it so difficult, trying to talk about this, say the right thing? And yet, even I think I am one...

Aria Viviana Fiorella Speranza"Thank you and I didn't know that you and Derek were cousins until Hanna told me a few minutes ago while we were talking."Aria said as she almost didn't want to take the invite that he was handing her but took it. She looked it over and found something that Derek had written beside just signing his name."Dear Rio, I really hope you can come to the wedding as it's been too long since we saw each other. My bride to be is really amazing gal and then I remembered that you had a liking to cats. My bride is a cat neko so then again... Just Kidding! I wouldn't dream of you trying to steal her away from me. Anyways, please come Rio and get out and be social some! Love Derek." Aria read aloud and that was something Derek would have written. She couldn't believe that he wrote that on the wedding invite! Aria shook her head in disbelief."I can't believe that he wrote that on the wedding invite to you. It was like him to do that but still...." Aria said some more tears slid down her cheeks.

~Rio Ayame Treise~ I hate being called a monster... Rio sighed, hanging his head a little when she mentioned Hanna being the one to tell her they were cousins. This worried him as to what else she told her. "Yes, Hanna...she knows a lot, as she's been here for so long." He could see she was a little reluctant to take the invite, and couldn't blame her. It had to dig up more memories for her. What Derek had written on the invite to Rio, Rio couldn't believe either. And yet, he remembered reading it over a few times when he'd gotten it. Surprisingly, it got a chuckle out of him when he first read it. It was like Derek to make jokes like that sometimes, even if they weren't at the most appropriate times. As more tears slid down Aria's cheeks, Rio reached out, his hands on either side of her face, and lightly wiped the tears from her cheeks, not really sure what else to do. Speaking quietly, "A bad joke there on his part, but then again, most of his jokes were like that....weren't they." He gave her a small smile, though you could see the sadness in it too. And yet, even I think I am one...

Aria Viviana Fiorella Speranza"Yes, they were. Did you two know each other well?"Aria said and asked as she realized that Derek's immediate family needed to know that she was safe now with Rio as they they might think that she was dead by now. Aria saw the sadness there in the small smile and smiled it back at him. One of her hands covered one of his that was on her face. His hands felt right on her face and warm that she needed. "I still been in good contact with Derek's family up until I was kidnapped about a month ago or more and I was in that hell hole ever since before you got me out of there yesterday."Aria said, wondering if they were still looking for her or glad that she was gone and wasn't be bugging them anymore......One less person to remind them of their dead son.......

~Rio Ayame Treise~ I hate being called a monster... "Uh....I guess we did..." Rio wasn't entirely sure how to answer Aria when she asked if they knew each other well. There were some things he didn't feel like bringing up in this conversation, in case she might question him about things. Also, when it came to most of his family, they had sort of avoided him, it was mostly because of his father, when he was alive. Even after the man was gone, they still pretty much avoided Rio, and vice versa. But he and Derek were friends as kids, before his mother left. Years later, he was still persistent on keeping up with Rio, always inviting him to things. There was the one time, after Rio had avoided going to any family gatherings for the longest time, that Derek just showed up at his door to visit with him. Mumbling slightly, "he was always a very persistent relative..." Aria probably caught that, even though he was mumbling. His attention was slightly drawn to where she had one of her hands, laying over one of his that was on her face, covering it. With his usual awkwardness in situations like now, Rio might've moved away from her, pulling his hands away from where they were now. But, instead, he stayed as he was, her hand on his. Listening to what she said that she had been in contact with Derek's family until now, "So, um...you want to call them?" Rio was mostly worried about what might happen when/if she called. Would they be happy to know she was alive and well, or would they be glad she was gone. It would be horrible if the latter were the case. And yet, even I think I am one...

Aria Viviana Fiorella Speranza"Yes and no to tell you the truth Rio.I don't know if they were glad to get rid of me or if they are still looking for me. I would want to let them know to call off the search for me if they still are. Maybe it would be better for you to call them first to see what they tell you without asking about me at first to see what they say."Aria said as she wasn't sure what to say to Derek's parent's, Linda and James."Yes, and it was like Derek to be persistent. He was very persistent in getting me to go out with him on that first date years ago."Aria said with a smile on her face, remembering that first date. She had been his ever since that first date and was going to be his wife but it wasn't meant to be as Derek died four days before the wedding. The drunk driver died on impact but Derek died four hours later in the hospital and she did get to speak to him one more time before he passed on.

~Rio Ayame Treise~ I hate being called a monster... "If you're sure, then alright. I will call them then." Rio didn't particularly want to call, as he wasn't even sure what to say. Besides that, he would be torn about telling Aria what they said, if it turned out they were glad to be rid of her. But, he'd call anyway to help her out. He couldn't help the small smile that snuck on his face, hearing what she said about Derek getting her to go out on their first date. Imagining how he must've been then, how persistent he probably was about it, it could've made Rio laugh. A soft knock was heard at the door, Rio turned to see Hanna there. "Breakfast is ready, if you both are hungry." "Thank you Hanna." As she again left the room, Rio brought his attention back to Aria. "Well then, shall we go eat? Or would you rather find something else to do?" And yet, even I think I am one...

Aria Viviana Fiorella Speranza"Yes, that would be great if you did that for me."Aria said before hearing the knock at the door with Hannah telling them that breakfast was ready."Breakfast sounds good to me Rio."Aria said before gettting up from the chair that she was in and headed towards the door.

~Rio Ayame Treise~
I hate being called a monster...
Rio nodded and stood, following Aria out the door and into the dining room, where there was food at the table already, bits of things for them to choose from. He pulled out a chair for Aria, to let her sit first. "I will make that call after breakfast then? Better not to push it back I guess."
And yet, even I think I am one...

"Oui, better to go ahead and know now instead of always wondering either way."Aria said before sitting in the chair that Rio pulled out for her to sit in."Let's see, what did Hannah laid out for us to eat..."Aria said, changing the topic for now as she glance at the different foods that Hannah had set out for them. She took a bannana from the fruit bowl and placed it on the table next to her plate. Then she got some grits and put it on her plate and added some butter to it. Aria also got a few pieces of bacon as well before she began to eat.
