Levi blinked, taking a moment to register who Demi was talking to. Demi could read ... so that was one of the other Demis.

It was his rougher half -or third- that spoke, but Levi grinned at Demi for agreeing that her deduction was correct. Dang skippy. Nodding once, the tatzel ghoul turned another page of the hefty book she read, not retaining a single word of it, but knitting her brow anyways as if deep in thought over this as well.

Them things? The portals; gateways like the ones they'd used time and time again. Only if disappearing denizens were involved, perhaps this was something like what had happened in the town square. Reckon that's if we'can stick ta'gether. If it's like what happened to tha'mayor n' them- It was no surprised what had gone on involving the event with the boogeymen at town hall and the appearance of random portals. -think holdin' hands 're somethin' would guarantee that? Ain't like we know what happens when we're through. Sometimes we're in tha'same place. Sometimes yer not so lucky. It was a bleak outlook that she thought needed to be recognized.

'sppose we gotta know just what we're dealin' with b'fore we go'on with'at though, huh. Levi leaned against the back of her chair for a moment, looking up towards the ceiling.

Think'it's in tha'bog? That would be interesting.

"Hmm?" Taima was momentarily distracted by the little ghost ghoul, who earned a rare beaming smile from the thunderbird. "Oh, thank you!" She preened a little at the compliment, no more immune to occasional vanity than any other teenage ghoul. Her wings flared outward slightly, all the better to allow her admirer a closer look, but pulled back away from the group and anything that might get knocked over. They were probably all going to get kicked out of the library as it was, no need to hurry it up.

"Sticking together's a good idea," Taima agreed, nodding at the suggestions put forth by the demon and the tatzelwurm. "Even if we wind up getting separated, at least we'll know how it works--if it works." She watched curiously as the dog boil seemed to be a completely different person, if only for a moment--but there would be time to inquire about that later. "They don't even give very specific locations, like..." She trailed off as she pulled the book over and started flipping through the pages. "The Moonlit Marsh and the Creeping Caverns are marked on this map, and on the one that encompasses our general area," she turned the page to a more familiar map, "the entire Weeping Forest is marked, along with the Wishing Well and the Crypt."

The baku was silent, but she definitely agreed with the others. If more than one portal opened up while they were searching for them, then it would be difficult to prevent themselves from being sucked in. Trying to stick together was definitely the best plan, but if it came to the point where they were separated...

She suddenly shook her head, snapping out of her stupor when Taima spoke up. She turned to grin at the thunderbird, her tail flicking behind her. "You're much better at finding information than I am," She confessed, honestly seeming quite impressed. After going through a couple of books, she had only found minimal information about the labyrinth at most. The fact that Taima had discovered a number of locations was much more helpful.

The Victoria, she offered the ghoul ghoul a sheepish smile. Y-yes well...Amity students apparently never knew the meaning of off-limits. At her suggestion, the ghoul nodded and turned back to eye the book she had been about to read next, checking the index before flipping to the indicated page...

And then, as she read, her eyes lit up. Again, there was some basic information on the labyrinth in this book, but it also listed some potential areas they could search. Some of them were different from the ones that Taima had mentioned, but there was one that was the same: The Weeping Forest. It was good enough for Xiu.

"Let's try the forest first," She announced suddenly, putting the book down and turning it over so that the others could see the page, "The whole thing is circled in this book too, see?"
