Aile was confused by his stationary opponent, but still not as confused as he was by the noises in his head. What did that deerling do to him? Whatever it was, it was sure to wear off soon.
"You got this, Aile, you got this! Try and shake it off and attack again!"
Flying randomly from side to side, Aile tried his hardest to hit his opponent.

Willow sidestepped the confused opponent and tried to confuse her again.

Aile was not the smartest Pokemon in the box - he fell for the Deerling's little trick again. With his head filled with noise, he began flying around in circles.
"Aww, come on, Aile!" screamed Charlotte. "Eh, I guess it can't be helped... just keep trying! Sky Attack!!"
Barely making out his trainer's voice, Aile plummeted to the ground, hopefully aiming at Willow.

There were many things that could be going well for Aile, and none of them were happening right now. Confused and poisoned, all he could do was fly around drunkenly and let the toxic seep in.
Charlotte buried her face in her hands. "Oh maaaan... Ugh, just keep trying..."
Somewhat aware of his surroundings, Aile crashed down near Willow in a confused flurry of feathers.

"Again, Aile?! Come oooon..." whined Charlotte. This was truly the stall match of the century - and it was beginning to take it's toll on her Pokemon.
Happily chirping along to the voices in his head, Aile plunged downward for another attack, not even noticing the poison that weakened him.

Still winning no awards for intelligence, Aile fell for the swagger yet again, and continued to spin around in a dazed stupor.
"AAAAAAAIIIIIIIIILLLEEE!!!" Charlotte cried out to the skies.
Shocked by the sudden noise of her trainer's agony, Aile lost concentration on flying and fell toward the ground, hopefully hitting his opponent.

Seeing her opponent's Pokemon heal, Charlotte let out a sigh. "Aile, just uh... just keep doing your thing..." she muttered, realizing that whatever she said to him didn't really matter at this point.
Blissfully unaware of his trainer's internal plight, Aile continued to flutter around aimlessly along to the voices in his head. He followed one that he was pretty sure was actually Willow, and suddenly dived down.
