"Ughhh, what a match!" moaned Charlotte. "Just poor luck, I suppose... but we can still pull through... eh? What's up, Mara?"
Her Drifloon, deciding that her doom was all but inevitable, floated over to her opponent. She began to glow brightly, ready to use all of her strength to deal one final glorious blow.

The blood formed a shell around the caterpie, protecting her from the majority of the blast. Red light swallowed Sheoldred, and she was returned to her pokeball. Lenore gave a short wave before leaving.

((I was partially inspired, no lie XD))
Mara pitifully floated toward the ground, completely wiped out from the battle. Charlotte rushed over and returned her into her Poke Ball. "It's okay... We'll do better next time, I promise..." Charlotte looked up to say goodbye to her opponent, but she had already left.
