It was like staring into a incoming train with your legs glued to the tracks, except this train was Robert and he was ready to lay the smack down on the poor trainee. Except he wasn't so much as smacked down, as he was sent flying into the air as if he had downed a can of red bull.

Except he hadn't, and instead of flying majestically he was soaring into a dummy like a torpedo. The impact was brutal, and he was left confused and forgetting who he was any why he was here.

Jason's way of paying him back way to flop his sword-arm around like a wet noodle.

Watching Jason go flying made a stab of guilt strike through Robert's heart. He couldn't have imagined hitting the new boy so hard, so he waited until Jason had stopped bouncing before stepping forward to check on him. He never hit that hard, normally. In fact, he bent down, checked for anything broken, and then stood up again.

"Sorry, bro." Robert picked Jezebel back up, and swung it with an even - but careful, blow. "I'll try to make it quick."

Thankfully Jason wasn't mortally injured, though he was still waiting for his head to stop spinning as Robert apologized.

"...N-no problem" He managed to get out, before the other hunter was on the offense again. This time he barely managed hold his sword up to block the incoming attack, though the force of the blow had him staggering backwards as he swung weakly.
