Danny had pulled out her phone to call Roch and ask him where he'd ended up (after all, they split up going to the human world to get FEAR), but she shut it almost immediately.
"Hey screech, if you had 3 guesses where Roch is, where would he be," she asked, already knowing the answer. Her eyes were glued on it, already seeking out the purple, fuzzy mohawk.
While he waited around, Shun soon heard someone calling out his name. Turning around, he spotted Hel grinning like a madman as she approached him... raising her fist. The Reaper furrowed his brow as he looked down at it, then... very tentatively bumped it.
He still didn't quite.. understand these things.
Shaking his head, he just went on to address her question.
"Happy Halloween to you as well," he said, keeping his normal stern-ish expression, "It went well enough. I managed to scare them. Though somewhat satisfying, I think I would rather be reaping than dealing with sniveling children if I were to be gathering fear."

Yosuke had long since abandoned his oni mask when he followed everyone to the festivities, hoping his distinctive tattoos would point him out to the friend's he'd made collecting fear. Man, this had to be the best night ever.
He sang without abandon, a wide grin threatening to split his face as the seeds fell and he scooped up a few. He really didn't know what he should do first, who he should find first, or if he should just bask in all that was Halloween. All were tantalizing ideas. In the end, he just stood there for a moment enjoying himself before heading to the sparkle house, hoping to meet up with someone he knew.

Roch had scooped up a handful of seeds before he saw the massive table covered in food--and the seeds were forgotten. "Jackdamn do I wish I'd brought my wagon," he muttered as he made his way through the crowd to the table. He grabbed--no, not a plate, not two plates, even--
He grabbed one of the platters off the table, full of fried batwings in barbecue sauce. Ahhhh, this was great, he thought as he gulped one down. Then he looked around, now paranoid someone was going to snatch his three foot wide platter.
The idiot.

Astra held onto her fear lantern with pride, her wings humming softly in the night as she followed the others in single file towards the town hall were everyone was located. Her eyes were wide open at the sight of so many others here, not to mention all the fear lanterns about. She could hardly keep from flying out of line to see everything! But she kept her cool, walking towards the fountain where she carefully tipped the contents of her lantern into the pumpkin next to it.
Stepping back, the fae joined in with the joyous singing of their song, chanting the lyrics and watching with baited breath. And was rewarded with the sight of the pumpkins exploding, showering them all with silver seeds! Squeeing with delight, Astra flew into the air grabbing as many seeds as she could, all the while giggling madly. This was the best!

Lifting his arms was difficult. A few seeds may have stuck to him.
He offered a nevertheless sincere, "Happy Halloween," into the din of shouting, staying warm in a soft and sharp black jacket. His thorns were kept well out of the way, and he was admittedly trying with all his might to avoid his father. Who was lurking around here somewhere- along with his who-knew-how-many-at-this-point siblings, his grandfather, and Christof's master...
Well, it was a very large crowd.
Nonetheless, a pair of almost knee-weakeningly beautiful kelpies seemed to find them alright. The woman's face was extremely familiar.
"Ah! Yes." Barth straightened, as much as he was capable. He didn't offer his hand. It wasn't very polite for demons to do.
"It's a pleasure to meet you. Happy Halloween."

While most of the town spent the Halloween in a bright-eyed wonder, cheering as the FEAR they collected on this most auspicious of nights seeped into the air, one certain monster stood a little apart from the festivities, watching the rest of Halloweentown's citizens enjoy their favorite holiday. Against the low stone wall which surrounded the perimeter of the fountain, encompassing it within a larger ring of stone, a pair of molten amber eyes glittered in the dissolving twilight, burn umber turning to shades of blood and finally to the deepest of midnights as the pumpkin sun set, it's own glowing triangular eyes barely peeking above the horizon, already tucked beneath the rows and rows of decrepit grey houses. In the shadow of the nearby buildings, the figure was shrouded by the lack of light, as many of the other excited citizens were, the light from the glowing pumpkin lanterns which hung from the windows casting the barest of glows on those who danced and scrambled for silver seeds beneath it, creating deep pools of ink beneath their eyes and across their faces. This particular figure kept it that way on purpose -- large as he clearly was, he leaned nonchalantly against the low wall, elbows propped behind him in a cocky yet inconspicuous manner, clearly not interested in attracting much attention. The purposed hunch of his shoulders, covered by what seemed to be skulls and fur, also gave this impression, attempting to mask his true height.
In truth, Nukpana wasn't truly hiding, per se. That would have implied he was actively trying to dissuade people from seeing him, which wasn't really the case. He couldn't care one way or another whether anyone saw him. Hardly anyone paid him any heed anyway; every so often, someone he didn't recognize would glance his way, mildly curious as to who it was they had accidentally just brushed past, but the skinwalker merely met their eyes, unperturbed, and the citizen of Halloweentown would lose interest, far more enchanted by the festival night. However, it was also quite clear that Nuk wasn't actively looking for anyone either. While his eyes slid over the crowd, when they found someone he might have recognized, a skeleton's hand or the flash of a silvery-white tail, he lingered for only a fraction of a second, lowering his gaze to extinguish the light of his eyes, like the hiss of a candle going out.
Things were not perfect in his world just yet. It had been months since his return to Amityville -- a fact which for the moment was left undiscovered by his brothers back home -- but the monster had attended not a single class in that time. Nor had he gone to see most of his old friends. Instead, he had spent the last few months brooding in his room, mulling over bad memories and regrets, and asking himself why he had come back in the first place. His depression, however, was clearly just that of a spoiled child, with no real troubles to cause such moping.
Lifting his eyes again, Nuk made a comically disgruntled look at the gian growing pumpkin as it popped, wincing a bit at the sound before it rose into screams from the crowd.

Danny led the way through crowd, shoving scarelings and adults alike out of her path. Eventually they made their way to the food table, where it wasn't hard to find Roch. One end of the table had people politely talking and nibbling at the party favors, the other had gluttony demons and blob monsters ingesting it like this was the last food in Halloween.
Considering how fast Roch was hoarking it down, it might as well be.
"You're gonna explode, just like the pumpkin!" Danny said, noogieing her friend and then stealing two snotcorn balls from the table and handing one to Rikki. "Happy Halloween, stupid."
“Heeeee!” Okay, so it wasn’t strong, but he returned her fist bump, and that was all that mattered.
Hel rested her hands on her hips, and rocked on her heels energetically. “Ha! I understand, friend! As a Trick or Treater, I would rather be adventuring than scaring little human scarelings…but it was a unique experience, ya!” She laughed. “What are your plans tonight? Is Mitsu showing up soon?” After all, Shun was never too far from the Lycan when he wasn’t busy with other matters.
Clyde stared up towards the buildings, just absorbing the festive surroundings of the Town. It was a very nice change in comparison to what had happened only a while ago with the fog and whatnot, and…Are those silver pumpkin seeds? He scurried over before picking a couple off the ground, mimicking the many others around him. He’s not one to turn down free stuff. Straightening his posture right after, the varcolac went off to check out more of the activities of the event.
Ohh…He smells food. Is that…Oh yea, FREE FOOD.

TK was still attempting to regain his bearings after transferring to Amity, but that was no excuse to stay inside his dorm tonight. Rather, the very opposite. While everyone around him seemed to be bursting at the seams with excitement, the new student kept calm while he silently weaved through the crowd. Attentive eyes observed the glowing lanterns held in many of the citizens’ hands before TK shifted his attention to the large pumpkin that glowed brighter with each passing second. He winced slightly as the voices, loud and soft, merged together as the townspeople sang together. Reluctantly, TK moved his lips to join while he searched for a more reclusive spot to observe the celebrations from.
Faces swam across his vision as he stumbled toward the buffet and managed to peacefully lean against the table while he watched the giant pumpkin burst out with candy and silver seeds. He ceased his singing and let everyone else around him cheer loudly. Instead, TK reached down to pick up a few seeds. This was…interesting. As he pocketed the seeds, he turned around to stare at the buffet’s contents. His lips curled into a smile as he reached out for a plate.

Damien all but bounded into the main streetway, back from fear gathering with Levi an Jove that ended much too soon. the twins were far too much fun to scare and in the midst of the impromptu stuffed toy show and the following pair of scarelings, the alarm buzzed. one that said the festival was to start soon. that left the hellhound pup hastily running into the street where the gathering occurred, his container light, but still with precious fear. Levi was in tow and Jove in his natural form sitting on the crown of his head, the foxfire probably had the best seat of them all.
The boil let out a bark of surprise and threw his arms up in the air as the pumpkin exploded with all its treats and seeds and went to grab at the bits that came in his own direction. "SUCH A GOOD DISPLAY, DON'T YOU THINK SO?" he yelled loudly over the commotion and began to sniff out the refreshment table.

"CHERRIES!" Than's declaration of familiarity and friendship was coupled with the smaller boil throwing himself at Yosuke, arms wrapping around the other as he spotted his first familiar face. "Than sees Yoyosuke has found the Sparkle House yes yes?" OwO
Peering around the other, as he'd attacked from a sideways sort of position, he craned around to look at the glittery spectacle that advertised itself as a genuine Human horror experience. Or at least, that was what Thannas' mind had cooked the entire thing up to be. "Couldgoshouldgomebbegoinsideyes?" Somehow it didn't look quite as scary as the Haunted House from one of the earlier festivals that he'd attended. "Does Yoyosuke think we will get all glitterfied?" Scrunching up his nose, he took a precursory sniff at the place. "Than is not surelike if he can get sparkles ouuuuuuuut later."
He projected the most dismal look of indecision towards the place. "Whatshouldwedododoooooooooooo?" It was trilled, beaming up at the Ittan-Momen as though Yosuke was the world's greatest decision maker.

Halloween was literally the Best Day Ever. It was everything the witch loved rolled into one big, fat, holiday party. It was her very existence shared with everyone else and it was marvelous. Except for this year... Something was missing. Something she hadn't realized she was going to miss or even counted on missing because it hadn't seemed like it would happen. And because the witch was missing her zombie, she was just a little, tiny bit melancholy. Not enough to cause any real worry, nor really even tip off anyone she didn't know to that fact. She looked happy enough with a bright smile and a tiny bounce in her step, but when she was certain no one was looking her mouth turned down momentarily before she sucked in a deep breath and brought the smile back. The bright light of collected Halloween drew her in, so the witch stood nearby and watched it. It was warm and something Belladonna wanted to stay close to, mostly because it at once brightened and dimmed her own happiness.
