"Wasn't humans if the rest of 'em forgot her," Nahm grumbled. He paused at Aksaja's suggestion, considering it. "They do that?" He knew little about Hunters, other than that half the school was convinced they were real, including some creatures who were otherwise level-headed.

At this point, he knew, the human scareling knew there were three creatures in its bedroom. Hopefully it wouldn't expire of terror. That'd get all three of them in deep s**t. At least the other boils were now implicitly tangled up with this; ratting him out could get them into the same trouble.

"I don't know, it was just a thought," Aksaja muttered, rolling his eyes just a little. The Hunters were all keen on stealing them away, why not humans? Of course, the purpose of taking them was to make weapons, but still.

"Maybe it was just other humans then? Who knows."
