"W-woah. Calm down a bit, Nikki, your nose's bleeding, you're getting it all over." He spun with her a little but tried to peer at her nose. "Maybe we should get that adult to look at this."
Sha scoffed at the idea. "Pff, she's not crying, she's fine!" he said as he wiped her nose with his sleeve. "There all better! TO THE SAND! I will make the best castle ever!" He marched off towards the sand after snatching Nikki's hand.
Trae sighed. Leave it to Sha to disregard injuries. Whatever he was going to sit in the tower. Let Sha be the center of attention, he just wanted to chill a little so he could stop panicking.

Nikki frowned a little as she was suddenly carted off, "He is not very playful!!! I tink he could use some more fun after we are done with sand cassles!!! Buttttbuttbut I warn you, I am de betet at sandcassles!!!!!" Then she spotted the little toddling again and another Eeeeee~! went out of her mouth, as she suddenly sped up, bending her knees as she got near little Altair, "Oh gos! Hello dere!! Are yoouu making cassles too?"
Nikki silently wished she had any of her dolls at the moment, to entertain little Altair, instead empty handed for the situation!

Oh no all of the big kids got in the sandbox!
Altair stared up at them with her usual grumpy frown, something she had inherited from Deskri. The girl with the bright hair reminded her of her cousins, except she was one person and not two hyperactive twins.
"Ye, I'm makin a cassle." She responded flatly.

"It's a super duper awesome castle!" Sha said with a grin, his one red eye crinkling in pleasure at socializing and the pit of darkness where his other eye should be... was a pit of darkness. "You mind if we give your castle some neighbors?"

Blake had watched the whole exchange through his viewpoint. He'd winced as he saw the girl go flying off the swing and had considered slipping down the slide and dashing over to try to help, but there was an adult right there and it seemed like the other two boys had it under control. There was another kid over to the side playing quietly with sand, Blake approved.
Suddenly though it seemed like the girl with the color changing hair and the boy with the red hair were going off to the sand while the bright pink haired boy was coming over in Blake's direction. His eyes widened a bit and he scooted back from where he was spying hurriedly. He opened his backpack in a rush, but even in his panic he took care to slide his comics in carefully and not mess up the edges. Then in a sudden panic as Trae drew nearer, Blake threw his backpack on his shoulders and started crawling into the slide to hide halfway down and peer at him from there.

Nikki giggled at the grumpy little kid, and moved over to the side, "Yeah! Every cassle needs naybors. I mean who would they talk to and play with not having any nearby cassles would be terribull!!! A tavesty! We sould make a biiig cassle town of lots of cute cassles!!!" Nikki already began moving the sand into small piles, pushing it around happily.

"Stupid Sha and his silly hyper attitude..." Trae muttered to himself as he climbed up the tower. Honestly, did Sha have to go and make friends with everyone who breathed? Apparently yes. Oh well. At least Trae was secure in the knowledge that he was Sha's best friend. He hadn't been replaced in the time that Sha'd been here and he'd been stuck in the public school where they'd met.
Trae plopped himself onto the floor of the tower and let his legs dangle over the ladder. He had a great view of the border negotiations going on in the sandbox without having to take part. Win.

"Yeah, maybe, you still have room for peasants I'm making my castle in this corner, see?" Sha gestured to show the little one how much space remained for the peasantry. "Besides, it's good to share."
He looked up to check on Trae, yup, there he was up in the tower being his loner self. Silly.

Nikki frowned a little at Altair suggesting that peasants should be made, "Well it is not very fun being the only princess!! I mean everyone sould be princesses with cassles! Dey have all de rites to be!! An we are all da bes princessesseses!" She giggled happily and reached into the pocket of her little shorts, a very thin bit of metal folded into a simple flower set next to Altair, "We even have fowers!" She giggled again, doing the giggly bubbly thing.

Altair seemed skeptical, but eventually shrugged. "Okaaaay. Is no' accur... accurate but okaaaay. Mama did say sharin' was good." She stared at the flowers for a moment before picking one up to sniff it.

Nikki giggled, and waved her hand very slowly. The flower had smelled like metal and paint, not at all a flower, but now was moving the leaves just barely, as if flowing in a breeze. Nikki seemed to have to concentrate hard even for that though, and after a few moments of the flowing it stopped, and the flowers were left in their original shape. "They do not exactly smell good, sorry. But they are pretty!!!

Sha wasn't entirely sure about this "everyone being a princess" deal. He didn't feel very princesssy despite his long hair not to mention if everyone was royalty then they'd have no one to rule over. But hey, whatever, it's cool.
"Well this princess is going to build his castle over in this corner and decorate it with grass. We want none of your flowers here." He announced teasingly.

Nikki pouted at Sha, scooting her way along the sand with another flower in hand, which she stabbed into the sand closer to Sha, "Dis land is now ruled by fower-land. All of de sandbox belongs to us and no silly grass can stay!!!!!!!!!!! She stuck her tongue out at Sha, giggling about the proclamation.

Altair set the flowers down. Metal was not exactly a nice smell... "But you wanted me to share so you have to share too!" She pouted, crossing her arms. "An' if there isn't any grass what're the horses gonna eat?"
