He chuckled when she suggested 'elephant slayer' as a name and the trouble it would lead to with mom and dad, "It's certainly not a very subtle name, is it?" He might have liked to take a name as awesome as that, it would certainly make his long absence seem more justified.. but he didn't really feel like he deserved it. He knew he had an ego, he didn't want it to define him completely.
"I'm sure I'll find something," he said, though not sounding very convincing, "I mean, I have to eventually, right?"

"Well you definitely have bragging rights now. That's all I can say." She gave him another small shove and stretched again, yawning wide. Now that she was off of her paws the fatigue was creeping in. She did love a good lounge around, especially after working hard! This hunt had certainly been her hardest one yet.
"Definitely." She agreed, putting as much confidence and positivity into her voice as possible. She believed in him. "You're just a complicated individual, that's all. There's more to you than just one part - like with me. Only makes sense that it'll take longer. If I were you, I'd just live life to the fullest and one day it'll just come to you. Like...you'll wake up and just know and it'll feel right. That's the most important thing."
Perhaps he was simply trying too hard? Maybe the worry was getting in the way of his true self?

For now, bragging rights wound do in place of a name. He rolled over onto his back, staring back out at the sky and trees that they had left behind after their adventure with the elephant.
"I'm getting tired of waiting for it," he said, twisting around to look back at his sister without changing position, "But I am glad I ran into you. It's been hard not just going back to the Pridelands and hanging out there, but it wouldn't really be the same as seeing you guys."
He had considered trying to arrange a visit in the Pridelands with his parents, he figured his grandparents, aunts, uncles or cousins would be able to help him with that.. but he had mixed feelings on his failure to find a name up to this point.

"It'll come to you." Endesha replied, shifting closer and leaning her head against him, one eye turning up to the sky as if curious as to what he was looking at. It felt strangely soothing. "I'm glad to see you, too. You've been missed." And she thought of how happy her parents would be to hear that he hadn't give up yet, that he was still searching and one day he would come home to them.
"I think once I've rested I'll go back home."
She let her eyes fall closed. "And I'll stay there until you find your name and return." Endesha certainly didn't want to be out on some random wandering when her brother returned. She wanted to be among the first to welcome him back.
And then she would tell him about everything that had happened in the Pridelands.
