Misty then hung up and was feeling really bad. She then went behind a bush. turned into her cat form and ran to his house before he got there. Then she sat there waiting for him to come home. She then perked her ears, with her black fur with a white heart shape on her back shining in the sunlight. She then looked out for him and once she saw him, she went over to him while he was checking the mail. She was purring as she sat at his feet looking up at him with her eyes looking guilty.

Misty then went around the house to see if there was an open window like usual. When she didn't see any she turned human and went to the front door. She then rang the doorbell and sighed taking a deep breathe to help calm herself.

"Kintaro wait...." She said and put her foot in the door before it closed all the way. " Please at least hear me out. I don't care what Koji would say. I want to be with you. I'm sorry I did what I did. It's not my fault. If you'll let me in I'll show and tell you why it wasn't. I know your mad at me but please give me a chance to explain." She then looked at him with sad eyes her hands against her chest hugging a locket they both bought for eachother. She never took it off. Along with the stuffed cat that he won for her it was the best gift she ever gotten. She then waited for his answer.

"I'm sorry. If you ever want to see me you know where to find me." She said in a sad voice. THen she turned into her true form and flew off in tears after she got off the porch. When she landed She was back at the spot where Kintaro first confessed his love towards her. She then took off the locket and said to Shadow "I guess I don't need this anymore." She then put it around Shadow's neck and said "Keep it safe for me Shadow. It means alot to me." She then stayed in the Shadows of the park in the next town where she was living. She had tear stains all over her face. She truely did love Kintaro but if he didn't love her back what good was it.

~Timeskip~

As the days went on, Misty had blocked out her emotions little by little. She figured if she couldn't love anyone then no one could love her. Her brother had gone back to their world for a vacation. Misty stayed at the house with Shadow. She then pet Shadow and said "Shadow, why does everyone seem so happy today when I'm so miserable?" Shadow tilted his head and nuzzled her. She then pet him and said "I know your trying to help SHadow. But I guess emotions have no place in my heart. It brings me nothing but trouble." She then sighed and went to find a blood bank. She had been stealing her food and no one had been reported killed or anything. After she had her food she went back to the house and put the blood in the fridge before she went to sit on the couch and watch everyone who was outside with their families. She was lonely and wanted someone to spend time with. But didn't think she'd ever get that.

Misty answered the door and saw Kintaro. Since she was in her true form her ears went back and she said "Hey Kintaro. I thought you didn't want to see me?" She then looked at him holding back her tears since she didn't want to cry anymore. Shadow then put the locket around her neck and she smiled at the large Tiger sized Shadow cat. She then pet his head and then looked back at Kintaro saying "It's okay. This is Shadow he's harmless." Shadow purred seeing her happy again.

Misty then hugged him and said "I'm sorry too. I just thought you wouldn't want to be around me if you knew what I was. That's why I did what I did." She then looked up at him with a smile on her face for the first time in afew days. "Would you like to come in? Koji is on vacation so Shadow and I are alone."She said and looked up at him happily. Shadow was glad that she was happy too.

"Of course I don't mind." Misty said and held his hand and brought him inside. "Would you like something to drink or eat?" She asked hoping that he would get used to her being half vampire, half cat demon. She hoped he wouldn't think of her any less. She missed when he would hold her close to him and snuggle with her.
