He laughed, violet eyes absolutely sparkling. “Why yes, Aurora, I do think I can handle the pressure…and I promise you.” Mariposite gave her a small kiss on the cheek, then sunk into such a wonderful bow. “I will do my very best to romance the senshi of romance herself. And your first date, will be the very best date that you have ever had in your entire life. I promise you that.”
Not that this would be such a difficult thing to accomplish…seeing as it was her first, but still. Fancy wording like that would have her absolutely faint in excitement and anticipation.
He straightened up once more, then took her hand, kissing it gently then taking a few steps backwards. “I must go now, my fair one. But, tomorrow, at seven o’clock, be here, right out front. And be prepared to have the very best night of your entire life. Guaranteed.”
He tipped his hat then took off running, laughing to himself as he did. Well. Tomorrow would be all about the French food and the French kissing. Yes indeed it would.
