If Victoria had a tail, she would be wagging it really hard right now.
"That is really deep and really wide..." Her eyes widened with awe as she tried to comprehend the size of the ocean; then again, she probably won't be able to comprehend it even if she was to see it for herself. As it is, she was having trouble thinking of the land part of Halloween as being vast... It's difficult to visualize how big the world is when you come from a small town, and had never really traveled.
"Coral formations?" She echoed, shaking her head before leaning forward to take a closer look at the hair clip, "Mermaids make their homes in these...? But it looks so small..."
Maybe mermaids could shrink?
"Oh dear Sally!" Her hands flew to her cheeks as she looked down at Amphi's legs, brow knitted together in worry, "Perhaps you should cover them, Miss Amphi? What if... What if it rains?" Oh, the hooror! The mermaid had been so nice... It would be dreadful if anything bad were to happen to her!

Amphi's head bobbed up and down, her eyes lit with her own excitement. Her ears fins even wiggled a little. "Very deep and wide..." She said once more and then nodded her head more.
"Coral formations are kind of like the tree's and rocks and all that for the sea!" Amphi blinked at the size and then flushed. "Oh...no...no oh gosh. Our coral formations are much bigger! the sizes of houses or large caves!" Amphi rolled the hair clip in her palm. "This is just a small piece of coral! Because we can make jewelry out of them too! A lot of mermaids have crowns, headpieces and necklaces made out of coral. We also like seashells and pearls and sometimes we can find underwater mines with glittering stones...."
"Oh and in the ships! We find a lot of treasures and stones and stuff in the ships to make all our jewelry and stuff...." Amphi missed her piles of jewelry though she never wore most of it. She was a little bit sad she ahd to leave all her glittering purple and blue stones in her home far away.
"Co..Cover them? Amphi looked down at her legs that were barely peeking through the dress and stockings. Since her /hunter/ accident she had been more modest in her clothing attires, so far as wearing a hooded dress over her bikinis instead of just the normal attires she would wear before....
"Is it raining outside?" Amphi whispered...she couldn't lead Victoria anywhere if it was RAINING.

"I would like to see them one day. These coral formations and sunken ships and underwater mines," Victoria replied, nodding as she tried to visualize what the world under the sea was like; it sounded to her like a wide, colorful place with pretty, ample-in-the-chest-department mermaids such as Amphi swimming around, "But I am unable to swim. As a ghost, it is easier for me to hover above water than to stay under it..."
The good thing about being a ghost was the fact that breathing air was optional though; she could forget to breathe and it wouldn't affect her.
"Yes! Cover them, Miss Amphi," Her brow furrowed slightly, "With some... Waterproof material perhaps?" She was sure that such materials exist, and if not, maybe a sorcerer could enchant her clothing to be waterproof, "I believe it is sunny out today!" Usually, if there was rain, she would be able to hear it.

"Well you are a ghost so maybe we can go on a vacation together! And you can meet all my sisters, I have a lot of them. Undine is my favorite though, she's my older sister and the queen of our clan. She seems serious but she really isn't. She.....is nice." Amphi hesitated as she looked at Victoria, "Have you ever....tried to swim underneath the water?" Amphi had Jove and Tybalt both swim under with her, but perhaps Victoria's ectoplasm was different? or the way the ghost worked?
"Oh! DO THEY HAVE THINGS LIKE THAT?" Amphi looked down at her legs and then back at Victoria, "That would be really nice! Maybe we can visit Junko and Lizzy, Lizzy probably would know!" Because Lizzy was the best, and she said Junko was the best too so that made BOTH of them the best.
They hit the end of the dorms and Amphi peeked outside, smiling. "No rain! Looks like we can make it to the cafeteria!" She opened the door for Victoria, following her out without losing grip on her hand and sped walked to the cafeteria. "So greens and milk and then we can both hope that it will help us!" Not that Amphi needed help but she would eat it with Victoria.

"I have a lot of sisters too!" Victoria beamed, chin in hands as she hovered beside Amphi, eyes lighting up, "A ghoul as nice as you must have a lovely sister as well, I imagine! Are all your sisters and you related by Fear? My sisters and I aren't related that way, but many of us grew up together, so we see each other as sisters... Having them around is great."
It was making her a little homesick, talking about the people she left behind in the orphanage, in order to attend school.
"I have not," She replied with a thoughtful look, "I did try floating around underwater though... It's a lot different from floating around while on land. Maybe it would be easier if I get used to it...?" It was possible that she only found swimming difficult because of a lack of practice... Since it never occurred to her that swimming could be something she might be interested in. As a ghost, it wasn't like she would ever be in danger of drowning.
"I'm not sure," She admitted, tilting her head slightly when two unfamiliar names were mentioned, "Who are Miss Junko and Miss Lizzy? Are they friends of yours, Miss Amphi?"
As she was led along to the cafeteria, Victoria giggled, "I think your bosom is ample enough for the two of us... Can they really be helped? CAN THEY GET BIGGER?" As she said the word 'bigger', her eyes widened.

"Wow! Sisters are the best aren't they!" Amphi beamed right back at you Victoria, because sisters were really THE BEST. "Ah, just one of them is. Her name is Undine, she is my older sister. The rest are part of our clan and we just call each other sisters. We treat each other like sisters too! There is probably about 15 or so other mermaids in the clan. Um consistently...about 40 or so all together." She could name all of them if Victoria really wanted to know.
"Ah it might be a little scary! Because the sensation of air leaving your body under water is bad. but if you ever want to swim...I can teach you and help you and stuff." Because SWIMMING. Its what Amphi did.
"uh Lizzy is! Junko is...a friend of Lizzy's but I heard she is super nice!" Amphi nodded, "both of them are really...fashionable! I bet they would know a lot of materials that would keep my body safe from rain and such."
Once in the cafeteria, she beelined for the cook and returned with a plate of crisp greens and a large glasses of milk. Setting them on the table she looked around and then poked at the greens.
"Ah....They can probably get bigger..." She didn't want to know though, she thought they were fine just as is. Instead she pushed the plate to Victoria and smiled. "EAT UP!!"

"They are!" Victoria nodded with a broad smile, glad that she found someone as appreciative of sisters as she was... And she's not related to most of them by Fear! That's even better news, to the ghost.
"I do not need air though!" She replied with a slight tilt of her head, as if mulling over Amphi's offer; although there was no risk of drowning for ghosts, swimming seemed like something that might be useful to pick up. Like learning to cycle, or learning to spin around without getting dizzy, "I would love for you to teach me, Miss Amphi! Or should I call you Teacher Amphi now?" That had a nice ring to it!
At the cafeteria, Victoria sat down at a table while Amphi when to grab the food. Glancing at the greens and milk that was brought back, she eyed them before spearing one of the green things with her fork, and putting it into her mouth. A few chews later, she swallowed it along with a few mouthfuls of milk, and then looked down at her chest.
... Nothing happened??

"Ah don't call me teacher Victoria! I am by no means anything of the sort! We can just be friends and I'm just helping you out and stuff..." The mermaid was currently deep red at the idea of merely being called a teacher...Ahhhh.....
Once seated and both of them eating, she looked over at Victoria and made small sounds. "Maybe...Maybe you need to eat everyday for awhile...." The mermaid hesitated and then looked up at Victoria..."So...um..."
THEY WOULD HAPPEN IN TIME VICTORIA
HOPEFULLY.
At the ding of the bell, Amphi's head whipped up and then panicked. "Oh no! I forgot about night classes. Can you find your way back yourself Victoria?"

"I'll do that," Victoria nodded, determined to have her bosom blossom. Despite how disappointed she was, she did not want to let it show on her face; Amphi was only trying to help, after all! There was no need to sulk in front of someone who was giving her good advice... She'll just have to stick to this diet for a while, with the limited amount of pocket money given to her each October.
At the question, Victoria nodded before looking at the meal in front of her.
"I'll stay here to finish up," Since it's a waste to waste food, "Before heading back. Don't worry about me, Miss Amphi!"

"Okay!" Amphi dashed out of the cafeteria and then...dashed back in to hug the girl really tightly. "if you ever need anything from me, I am in the monster dorms okay!" She might've cheek rubbed her a little and then disappeared out of the cafeteria to class.Dragain WRAPPED WRAAAAAAAAPEDDDDDDD
