Taste preened at the compliment from the doe. At least someone knew how to treat him right. He was to be admired and adored, not... sent through the muck to hunt. Not that the Acha seemed to notice the dog's antics.

"No worries! Even if we don't have your flowers... uh... there's lots to eat! We could eat just a Taste if we had to." The dog shot him a glare that read like 'just try it and see what happens.' But this only got the dog a splatter of mud as the Acha tapped his head with a hoof. "Aw, come on. I wouldn't really eat you. Don't look at me like that." He looked back to the doe. "What are you hungry for?"

Snack danced around a little before putting his nose down towards the sand dog. "Hey, I think she likes you." He teased before prancing off to stand beside the doe. "Hmmmm. Fish might be alright. They're easy enough to catch. Yeah! Owl cat is kind of icky. I don't like them." He stuck his tongue out at it. "Come on! We'll catch all the fish we can eat!" He bumped his hind quarters against the doe before leaping up onto a log.
