Jaromila thought a moment, before nodding her head, thinking it might be better to go see her parents first. If they didn't, who knows if her parents would send out a search party.
"Yes, I think it might be best to see mine first, I do not want Mama freaking out on us. You and I both know she would, so we will tell them first, then go see your parents,"she agreed.

Haides smiled. He did know that. "Then let's save her a heart attack." He nudged her gently lightly leaning into her. "Lead the way." Even if he wasn't tired, he'd only met Jaromila's parents here at the lake... He wasn't quite sure where they were.

Jaromila laughed lightly, knowing it was best for her mother not to get worried, since no telling what she would do. Mila nodded her head again and started to walk in the direction of where her family lived, trying to think how best to tell her parents.
"I just hope I can think of the right way to tell my parents, Haides,"she admitted to her new mate.

Haides's expression brightened at her laugh. He followed Jaromila, sticking close to her side. He nudged her gently when she confessed her worries. "I'm sure you'll be fine," he reassured her. "You always know just what to say." That was how it had always been. Him, who had trouble speaking, and her, who always knew what to say.

Jaromila walked with Haides, smiled softly as he told her she could do this. She loved how he had confidence in her, even when she was doubting herself.
"Well, I suppose I will be able to think of something, at least I certainly hope so. I just hope my parents will be as accepting of this as I am,"she spoke.

"I don't think they'll be very upset, if at all," Haides speculated. "They want you to be happy. If they believe that I make you happy, then I don't think they'll have a problem with it." That's how Serenity and Ve'ki would've reacted, at least, if it had been Beta or Kalyani or one of the other girls introducing their new mate. If it was clear that the mare or stallion made them happy, they would've been up to their ears in joy.

Jaromila's smile brightened, glad Haides was making her feel better about this.
"Yes, I suppose Mama and Papa will just be happy to see me happy. You know, you are getting pretty good at turning the tables on me, giving me advice, when it is usually the other way around,"she teased.

Haides blushed, glancing away in slight embarrassment at her teasing. "I got a lot of advice while traveling," he replied meekly. "I guess listening to so much of it helped me give more of it." He was quiet for a moment, hesitating before continuing. "Some of the best advice I got was from a bird Azrien from the south."

Jaromila nuzzled him, letting him know it was alright for him to give her advice too.
"My dear, you know it is a two way street, you can give me advice whenever you like. I am your mate now, it is normal for them to help one another. A bird Azrein gave you advice, hmm? What did he have to say?"she asked.

Haides nuzzled her back, smiling as he replied. "I know. It's just strange..." He wasn't used to it. The smile widened when Jaromila asked about the advice he'd been given. "Well, in short... that going any farther south would probably get me eaten alive and to get my rear back up here to you."

Haides smiled. "Punk C.A.B. was a very interesting Azrien... he really liked musical analogies." He was quiet for a few moments. "I wouldn't mind seeing him again. He's a good friend. I said he could come up and visit, but I doubt he will be able to... He said it would be dangerous for him."
(( If I get the breeding with Punk, then he will be coming to visit, btw. 8D ))

Jaromila beamed when she heard he had made a friend, it made her very happy.
"I am so glad to hear that you were able to make a new friend, dear. If he ever comes to visit, I am very much going to like to meet him. He sounds like a very interesting fellow,"she responded.

Jaromila thought about what her mate said, trying to picture someone like Beta, but different at the same time.
"Yes, dear, it was a compliment, I am glad to hear you actually are being a bit more social. Though, it makes me feel special I was one of the first you spoke to. Hmm, now I am even more curious about this Azrein you met, Hadies,"she admitted.
