C.C. took in the cozy little space, stepping in carefully as she slipped off her saddle bags. The workbooks and the rolls of fabrics intrigued her, as well as the phony dress form tucked away. She quickly turned her attention to her hostess, tho, she would quench her curiosity later.
"Its great to see you too!" She chirped happily. "A drink would be nice, if it's not too much trouble." Her head tilted. "I brought you the books I promise." She stressed the s in 'books' a bit with a little grin pulling a the corners of her mouth.

Delta trotted into the kitchen with a nod, her horn glowing as a cup floated from a cabinet and the refrigerator door opened. The fillie felt all of a flutter, so pleased to have a guest. "Absolutely! I've got some really tasty cider, please have some!"
She floated the full cup toward C.C. with a small, shy smile, coming back into the room. "Thank you again, I -- I'm really excited about the books... I've been thinking, maybe the reason I don't know any heroic mares is because, uhm, I never really paid attention? M-maybe there's heroes all over the place and I just don't know how to spot them yet because I haven't read any books?"

Taking the cup, and a little sip, she smiled. "Thank you, its really good."
C.C. tilted her head a bit. "Yeah, if you don't know that they are there, how could you see them for what they are? Maybe you have witness them, you just didn't connected to being heroic or so. Heroines aren't phonies that go about and telling others they are heroines, they are humble phonies that stand up for what is right, who protect those who need protection and teach those who don't know better. They are teachers and mentors, and helpers. Everyphony is a heroic in their own right. Well...most of them. They are those who are just down right bullies and stupidheads."

Delta listened to C.C.'s speech with eager interest, her head slightly tilted. She smiled a dainty smile and lifted her head high as C.C. finished, feeling a shy sort of pride. "That makes sense, oh! Y-yes, I could definitely see that. Teachers are really wonderful... I don't know how I never thought of them as, uhm, heroines before. I, uhm, I guess I always thought you had to have big grand adventures and... oh! ... fight or something to be a heroine." She shook her head, a faint embarrassment coloring her cheeks. "I'm glad I met you, C.C. You're a good teacher, yourself."

A bright blush that almost matched her mane came on C.C.'s cheeks. "Well, I don't know about being a good teacher, but I am glad that I have introduce you to something new."
She gave quirky smile before going to her saddle bags, pulling out all three books. "Here you, the whole series, and if..when you are finish, you want something like it, I can let you borrow other books."

Dainty flushed herself as C.C. did, her long-lashed eyelids dropping, even though she did not feel particularly embarrassed -- she never could see someone else blush without doing so herself, regardless of the situation. She trotted over and looked at the three books C.C. presented her with, offering the other filly a small smile.
"Oh, gosh. This is already so generous of you -- I'll take good care of them, I promise. And, uhm!" This time she blushed a genuine blush, and she made her way over to the waiting dress form in the corner, gesturing for C.C. to follow. "I, uhm, hope this isn't too forward or anything, but I -- I made you a present, a thank-you for lending me these books and being so thoughtful. If -- if the size isn't right or something, I, uhm, I'll be more than happy to fix it!"
With a glow of her horn, the cream-colored prince's coat slipped off the dress form and floated toward C.C.

C.C. followed after her and her eyes widen at the piece of clothing presented to her. "Oh Delta, this is....this is just so thoughtful...I...you are very kindhearted." She stepped around it, looking at the coat. "It's so beautiful!"

Delta shook her head, still blushing, although her small smile became wide and earnest. "Oh, no, C.C. It was the least I could do for you, after you offered the books, and came all this way... but thank you all the same! Would you like to try it on?"

Blushing once again, she just gave a bright smile before wiggling in excitement. "I would love to!" Careful and with Dainty's help, C.C. got the coat on and trotted around the other filly with overly dignified to the seamstress her work in motion and in all angles.
"It fits really well!" She chirped happily. "It's just perfect, Dainty, you are really good at making clothes"

"Oh!" Delta shook her mane a little into her face and dropped her eyes, as though that would hide the blush that refused to leave her cheeks. "It's nothing, really -- I just... I'm really happy you like it. I hope it, uhm... makes you feel even more like a heroine."

"It does, it really does. I feel like a true princess ready to fight a dragon" She giggled and kissed Delta's cheek before giving her a light little nuzzle. "Thank you, it really is lovely."'

"O-oh! It was my pleasure, really," said Delta, coloring from the unexpected affection. She smiled brightly at C.C. "When I'm finished, let's get together again!"
