The confusion faded at his comment, a small laugh bubbling from her lips. " You really didn't have to go to this extent you know.. I was just making conversation.." She looked around the roof as they reached it. Her eyes scanning across the horizon, the dark pools reflected the scenic view. "Well, if you've never dines on a roof then I should think maybe you're in for a real treat." With that, she giggled and leaped out onto the lip of the roof seeking a suitable perch to sit that wasn't too overly dangerous to sit on.
Testing stones as she walked along, she tapped one with her foot and tsked lightly. "Well I would suggest not sitting there.. you'd likely fall due to faulty masonry. This stone's loose." She hopped over the loose stone and continued walking along the ledge. "Ah here should be good." Smiling, she sat down on the ledge and patted beside her. "Coming?"

"Well, it's like we were saying downstairs... life is an adventure, so why should we let opportunities pass us by, right?" Kadar never lost that smirk of his, watching the agile jinn step along the edge of the building, seeking out an appropriate spot for them to sit.
"Like I said, never done this before... so I'm going to trust the expert on that." He winked at her, wasting little time in joining her at the edge. "It is a wondrous view from here though.." He stated, setting the plates down between them.

She chuckled lightly once more. "Well spoken" She crossed her legs up so that she sat Indian style. "Lets just hope the kitchen staff doesn't mind us being up here." She spoke as she eyed over what he'd ordered only now having the chance to do so. "Isn't it though? and all free for the gazing too. So, what exactly did you order?"

A soft chuckle escaped the fire-jinn, hands resting on the rooftop while legs hung lazily over the edge; gaze directing itself out and over the city before them. "I don't think it will be a problem... We might even make a habit of it." He turned to look at Lakshmi as he spoke, that flirty tone returning to his voice once more. He was definitely trying to be the suave sort right now. "As for food, we have some delicious couscous , hummus, Murtabek, and shish taouk. Hopefully you enjoy."

Looking up, she gave a chuckle."Oh? You planning on whisking me away for meals often?" She gave a genuine smile that lit up her eyes once more. Directing her eyes once more at the meal. It all looked rather delicious. She wasted little time trying some of it, eating gingerly with a slight daintiness to her movements. "This is really good, Try it."

"Sounds to me like you're rather keen on that idea... so I believe I'll have to make it so, won't I?" That genuine smile that lit up her face drew one across his own lips, eyes staring deep into her own for the brief moment. "I told you the food here was rather good, didn't I?" A chuckle escaped him once more, the jinn beginning to partake of the meal before them.

She gave a small shrug. She enjoyed his company and conversation mostly. Food during conversation was for her an after thought."You don't have to treat me to meals you know. I just like talking to you. Besides, if every time we came across one another we went some place to eat.. it's become a little mundane don't you think?" She ate a while in silence, pondering over what to do for dessert.

"What I meant that you were keen on the idea of seeing me again... Nothing says dinner has to be involved every time we meet, because it would make things very monotonous." He stated, that smile still gracing his lips. "Besides, I rather enjoy talking to you as well, Lakshmi. Your presence resonates a I rather enjoy your company... you seem to resonate a soothing aura that puts me at ease." As he spoke, a hand came to rest atop her own, eyes seeking to stare into those vast pools of her own.

The touch of his hand upon hers caused her to start and look at him. Smiling, she lowered her eyes ever so slightly so that she looked at him from under a curtain of lashes. "I'm glad you find my company soothing." She didn't know what, if anything, she could say further at the moment. With nothing coming to mind, she remained silent, finally looking up to meet his eyes fully once more.

There was a certain allure in the manner that she looked at him, the curtain provided by her lashes adding to that effect, that hand seeking to take hold of her own now. He really didn't know what else could be said right now, smile still gracing those lips as eyes came to meet once more. "You..You have very pretty eyes, you know that?" Not really keeping with the subject of the conversation, but at least he was being sincere, which should account for something.

Her cheeks tinged with a flush of color. "Thanks. Yours aren't so bad either." Smiling once more, she risked a glance out over the city. The sun was starting to make it's decent from the sky as it did every evening. "The capitol looks nice during sunset no?"

A faint flushing of color could be seen crossing his own cheeks, hand rubbing at the back of his head. "Thank you... but your's are still prettier.." He stated simply, not wanting to ruin the moment, even as those eyes found themselves turning toward the setting sun. "See? I told you this was the second best view in the whole Capital..."
He leaned back some, just reveling in the moment. "Remind me to take you to the palace one of these days... I'm sure the view is beautiful from up there." A smirk crept across his lips, "Though, nothing is as beautiful as you... but I already told you that, didn't I?"

"The palace?" She'd only ever seen the palace from the outside and even then she didn't linger long around it. Her cheeks flushed even more. "I'll bet it's most lovely.. and no.. I don't think you'd flattered me that highly..." The tinge on her cheeks deepened further she she looked from the sunset back to him.
"I'd like to go some day.. see what it's like inside your world." Her gaze lingered on him, that look that seemed like she was looking beyond what was visible to things deep within before she blinked the look away, her thumb idly rubbing over the fingers in her hand before she let it go. She didn't want to risk anyone thinking lower of Kadar for his actions though she had an idea that seeing the two of them together alone might be cause enough for talk. She wasn't of a high ranking family and the fact that her father's home was a decent size didn't mean much for their estate didn't really add up to much. It's hard to feel important when your family lacks a treasury to spoil yourself rotten with. She fed herself and clothed herself for the odd things she did when she traveled about though sooner or later, she knew she'd have to settle and find a job if she decided on staying in the capital permanently.

((we're moving this to Aim but will log the rest here Also inserting time skip here.)) To fill you all in! Lakshmi and Kadar after this went on to have a second meeting and several others after till she fell off the face of the earth so to speak. She never showed for a meeting they'd set up and to find out why read xXx and xXx those two rp's to help fill in some gaps.)) Naru_Uchiha007 There was a bit of apprehension felt in Kadar as he strolled down the streets of the Capital, mind seeming to dwell on the note that had been delievered to him earlier that day. What could Lakshmi want to speak to him about? Had he done something wrong? No. That couldn't be it, head shaking lightly to dismiss such a thought from his head. He must keep positive about all this, he told himself nearing the restaurant they'd shared their first meal at....

lysia_nyteblade She stood on the roof, staring out at the captial like they had so many months ago. She'd enjoyed the time they'd had together till one night of her own celebrations of how her life had turned for the better had brought on what she now stood here to discuss. Deep blue harem pants stuck out from under the cowl she wore now. She'd worn it to help her keep from being followed by any unwanted prying eyes.
