Marina was working by the hour and the cafe was close to closing. It was her responsibility to close up and do a little check up on everything before she left."I'm gonna get started on closing up since all the customers are gone."She told Drake."You should go on home, I can handle this much by myself."She said with a bright smile.

She got embarrassed when he called her babe. They weren't dating or anything like that. As Mari went to the back she heard something and got scared but then heard that it was a kitty and blushed at its cuteness. She then walked outside to pet the kitten."Oh you are so adorable. I love you so much. I want you so badly."She said softly."Now why couldn't you say any of that to me earlier?"The guy from earlier that day said.Mari gasped and stepped back a bit."Y-you."Was all she could say then she tried to get up but he grabbed her by the hair."Oh no my dear, don't get up. You will be useful on your knees in just a minute." He said with a smirk on his face. Mari wondered why she couldn't scream for help or fight back. She was frozen and in shock.

"Hey Mari are you done yet?" he said as he waited for her to answer. When she didn't answer, he went to the back. He heard voices so he grabbed a knife and went to the back alleyway. "Hey douchebag get your hands off her!" He said.

"Drake..'She said softly but he pulled her up by her hair and then pulled out a gun."You just you just brought a knife to a gun fight, sir."He said smiling then pointed it at Mari."Unless you want this pretty young thing to get hurt, i suggest you leave us alone until I'm done having my fun." Mari didn't want Drake to get hurt over her."Just go, Drake. It's fine..."She said, trying to get him out of this.

"You idiot, you won't be touching her anymore" He said as he looked at the man. In the matter of a second, Drake threw the knife from his hand which landed in the head of the man.

Marin screamed a little as the stranger shot his gun after being killed by the knife. She then ran into Drake's arms and cried."I was so scared."She cried out as she truly wished none of that had happened.

Mari looked back but was confused because she thought drake had killed that man for sure."We'll as long as you are safe I'm happy." She said smiling as she realized how close they were. Mari the quickly pushed herself away from him and blushed. "I'm sorry. We should finish locking up and then go home." She responded then walked back inside.
