"There's no need to apologize to them," SR had hung back, listening to the banter until he felt like saying something - which was when a fellow ToTer decided to join in the conversation. His hood was obstructing his face, and he sounded as pissed off as usual as he turned to regard the students, "Lucky you to have found your way to this particular camp, huh? Why not use your brain for a moment, and figure out who else could have set up camp in the fog? You don't think with your Jacking a**. You have a brain, right? Or did that get consumed by the fog?"
Every sentence from the ToTer's mouth seemed to cause Malcolm to twitch a little, until the professor was lightly pinching the bridge of his nose, trying to resist the urge to say something.
"Yeah, Trick or Treaters," He muttered; why did they even get invited along? He sighed softly, turning to look at the Bogeyman, "You need help with those? Some of the kids can help keep the camp running, maybe? Keeping them useful will probably minimize the chance of them running off, and giving us more work to do in the future." Yes, he is aware of the fact that the students are able to hear him. Yes, he is also hoping for them to actually behave for once.

Cricket could be seen preparing a medical area for treatment and making cycles around between various boogeymen, placing a hand on their shoulders and sometimes seeming to be giving them an extra boost to keep them going if needed.
Every now and then she'd return to a handful of cots she'd managed to steal and get settled in for the newly reformed to sit on until they had regained their bearings.

As was to be expected Mitsu followed along quietly. Getting answers was tricky at first though that often seemed to be the case when they spoke with Arel. The secretary often hid behind a curtain of secrecy or maybe it was just fear. To a point Mitsu felt bad for him, she understood what it was like to be afraid. Now so more than ever. If she had a choice she would be back in her dorm but not without Shun and the others. It would be hard to sit in her room knowing the others were out here trying to figure out what was going on.
Watching the ice demon for a moment Mitsu finally turned away and followed the group to the next Professor in line. QB seemed to know a little more or at least was willing to fill them in a little more on what was going on. It was only when Mitsu saw Malcolm and then Cricket did she finally start to relax. Out of all the Professors she probably trusted them the most and she actually still needed to talk to Malcolm at some point. She had a photo to give him.
Mind drifting since she was relying on the others to ask the questions Mitsu turned back to look out onto the fog again. It looked like it was shifting....changing. She tilted her head as she watched almost mesmerized as it took shape in the distance. It was hard to see from where they were but...wasn't that?

Shun turned towards the boogey that approached to chip in a bit of information regarding the other camps. One was hostile? While he knew there were horsemen in the area, that couldn't be them. Was it insanity related? No. From what he felt during the time he was consumed, there wasn't any real sentience to be able to do something like that. Just a strive for home and destruction of invaders.
This left one particular group that was known to be relatively hostile towards them. The Reaper hadn't seen any hunters around but... that didn't mean that they weren't here.
Twitching as Rage came up and cut in as well, he grimaced as his rather condescending tone.
"Great," he muttered under his breath. And now it sounded like Malcolm wanted to try and put them to work here. Who else was in the fog? Shun knew Tybalt was around. He recalled what Xiu mentioned regarding who else was here. Were Lizzy and Hel out there as well?
"We should get moving.."
If a few of his friends were still in the fog, it would be ideal to try and point them out to this campsite. So far the four of them were the only students to arrive. It was probably safe to assume that the others hadn't managed to find this place yet.
Letting out a breath, he turned towards the girls for a moment, then started to make his way out.

As soon as Shun started to move Mitsu was at his heels only stopping to grab some pumpkin pills and stuffing them in her pocket. If they were going back out into the fog....they would probably be useful.
Looking back at the others Mitsu turn toward Shun again before trotting off after him.

Speaking of said teachers, The secretary and the minipet had made a appearance, followed shortly by Malcom and even a few ToTers. Since Shun was doing all the talking, Poke was able to focus on all the answers. Most of which added up to "stuffed if I know". But she did receive a few useful tidbits. The fog had reached as far as inside the school (which meant that going back would have put them in just as much danger), and there were multiple bases set up. Chances were one of them was for the hunters as they seemed the most likely candidate for 'hostile'. There was the usual "stay out of trouble' by Malcom, but she wasn't about to sit idle while everyone else was out there.
In no time of all Shun was off with Mitsu in tow, so poke began walking after them "If we find any students, we'll tell them to come here." She said to Malcom as she left
Avery entered again some time after the others. Despite where they were and their situation, the behemoth hadn't been able to simply sit around and was out looking around shortly after camp had been set up. Something which he continued to do whenever he was able. Not that it really mattered. Exploring in this place meant you might as well be walking in circles, because that's what it felt like. Especially since each time he returned no better off than when he had started off. Though when he returned this time, he was surprised to find that there were more faces hanging around. Students.
"Why am I not surprised to see them here?" He muttered under his breath, irritable from his fruitless search and came over to stand beside Mischief. The fact that they were running off again, rather than staying put didn't seem to surprise him either.
Avery is interactive now, finally XD;;

Hostile, huh? Xiu's lips twisted into a grimace, shooting a worried glance towards her friends. They managed to find the base okay, but what if one of their other friends ended up wandering into the hostile camp? Would they have been captured, perhaps, or...?
The baku shook herself out of her thoughts when Shun decided that it was time to go. Turning to give the professors and the bogeyman a small nod in thanks, she quietly turned around and followed after the others.
The boogeyman laughed softly, shaking her head as the students walked off. "Amityville has built itself up a reputation of being rule breakers," she explained as she hitched the supplies in her arms up again. "When there's something going on, you're sure to find someone from Amityville in the thick of it. Hell, they're even like that after they graduate and sign up with us." She shrugged, flicking her tail dismissively. "People from Amityville just have a nose for trouble."
"Besides," the boogeyman nodded after them, "You can go with them if you'd like, just to make sure they stay out of most trouble. Your call. Regardless... ah, what was I doing with these again?" The boogeyman shook her head, chiding herself. "Oh dear. I've forgotten. I'll even forgot that I've seen you and made that suggestion, too..." She gave Malcolm a meaningful look before moving off, disappearing into the camp.

Rengath had shown up. He'd trusted the gnomes and remaining students not to wreck his auditorium while he was away. While the boogeymen made him frown, what made his frown deepen was the fact that it seemed there were more students than he'd been lead to believe. The area was hostile, and they were hardly trained to adaption and improvisation. The hell spawn wouldn't say he was worried... but he was worried.
He'd brought some snacks sure, but other than that the theater instructor was casting half worried half disapproving looks at the students. This batch was worse than his own graduating class. Well, maybe not as bad, they were not dead yet.
Action: Look at what Rengath is eating:
It's human flavored scaretato chips. Somehow it's not very surprising. maybe if you ask he might share.
Ask Rengath to share
Are you sure that is a good idea?. No
Smart move.
Yes
Are you really sure? Yes.
Well okay. Ask Rengath to share
He looks at you.
Ask again? Yes
"No."
No
He seems to appreciate you backing off his snack attack
Desu-chan sat in a corner, holding up her phone, snapping pictures of this and that. She also seems to have a bag of sweets with her. She seems willing to share. Ask Desu-chan for some candy
She smiles and hands you some chocolate in the shape of a heart. It helps calm your nerves and gives a renewed sense of hope.
The rapid patter of footsteps preceded Canon as she jogged into the camp. She was given a sharp glance from the Bogeymen on account of her gray skin, but it was quickly apparent someone so... happy wasn't likely to be under the effects of the Insanity.
Canon, in the meantime, was beside herself with delight. Professors! Students! Bogeymen! ((Grumpy Secretaries!)) She'd found the closest thing to home since she'd arrived in this weird place! She was containing herself at the moment, but any moment, any moment, there was bound to be a flood of questions.

"So true, so true," Mischief said airily to SR, waving a hand in greeting at the other Trick or Treater. He left Malcom to deal with the students and gamboled past SR, giving him a fleeting smirk in greeting.
"Glad to see you're always as cheerful as ever. Ah, and look, it's one of the librarians - "
For Avery had just arrived, and Mischief turned to smile brightly at him.
"Books treating you well?" he asked cheekily, hands in his pockets. "Got anything that might explain how to fix, ah...all of this?"
He waved a hand around him at the foggy haze.

Cricket seemed heavily annoyed that Rengath would not share his scaretato chips with her. Then again, she seemed to be somewhat anxious as well - a strange state of being to find the school nurse in at all....
You approach Cricket
She creases her brows at you and frowns.
You ask for a bandage.
She gives you a glowipede instead. It doesn't really make you feel better physically, but it is nice to have a little companion, you guess.
You ask what is on her mind.
She doesn't answer.
You press
"I haven't seen my son..."
"You have a kid??????"
She gives you a dirty look.
"Yes. His name is Yin." Wait, the Mantis kid? You're suddenly less surprised.

Malcolm put on his usual poker face as he watched the Bogeyman walk off; what she said might be true - that Amityville students tend to get themselves into all sorts of things - but the last time that happened to him?
All his friends are kind of dead-dead. Not even undead-dead.
Or more like missing on the official records, but they're really probably as dead as a doorknob.
He sighed, musing over her suggestion to go after them; there really wasn't much to do around the camp, since things had been secured, but was it really a good idea to go wandering around this fog? Her paused, looking up as another student arrived at the camp; this one was alone, and he had never seen her around before, but at least people were finding this place.

When Mischief announced the presence of the librarian, Avery had to resist cringing and looking around for the walking, talking disaster. Otherwise known as Hayden. It was only the bit of knowledge that Hayden chose to remain at the school, that he didn't actually look. Fortunately.
"Better than some things I imagine. As for that last part..." He tapped his fingers against his arm twice and shrugged. "No, nothing. Its the same results as before."
