The pair of eyes glowed bright with glee. "Well well well what do we have here? Fresh meat? That strangled so willing into my forest of mine? I do say what an honor it is to have you in my woods." His lips curled with excitement. It had been way to long since a stranger come into his forest and at night too.
Lupus dug his claws deep into the ground and growled. As soon as Anica was safely behind him he stepped forward into a defensive stance. “You’ll find no ‘meat’ here. Go to a butcher shop, or better yet, a curb. You don’t look like you could afford fresh meat.” He wasn’t sure where he found the courage in him to stand up to this stranger, he just couldn’t stand the way he was looking at Anica. “Please move.”
The chuckle gleemed with excitement. Did this kid know who he was dealing with. "Butcher? Ha, why get that KIND of meat when i know where there is fresh meat. A meat that looks so plumped." He laughed at his statement and came into the light of the moonlight "Oh yes that meant looks good to me." His lips curled with excitement that wiggled each one of his sharp claws. He glared back behind Lupus and he seemed mad. "What ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT THING!" The sky started to fill with black puffy clouds.

Anica glared at her father. She stood there in silence, just watching and waiting for him to leave. She hating meeting up with her father it was annoying.
Lupus looked taken aback. ‘Did he just call me fat?’ He snarled when the intruder changed the subject to yell at Ancia. Putting a black wall of Shadows between them and Anica he marched forward and got in his face. “I’m not done with you, old man!” His ears folded back against his head. “I won’t allow you to talk to her like that! I don’t care if you are related!” He held his position, but stayed light on his toes just in case his opponent decided to attack.
He laughed at him. "You are so funny! That thing doesnt deserve to be happy. She should have not been born. I am GLAD she went with that b*****d, she is nothing compared to her sister Anze. Now that lady has potential!" He circled him a bit. "Plus you dont scare me one bit, a little mongruel such as yourself. You two make a perfect couple of mongruels!" He laughed and smiled wickledly.
Anica's eyes blazed at him and noticed soemthing appear infront of her. 'what the...' She spoke quiety to herself. She could see it. "L..lupus..What is this?"

Lupus gnashed his teeth, “Funny, you don’t seem like the type to care about anything!” He turned so that he would always be facing his enemy, but kept his back against the wall he’d created. He wanted to yell that he wished that jerk hadn’t been born, but then Anica wouldn’t exist and, in theory, Lupus might not either. If Anica hadn’t saved him earlier, he would have bleed to death in the bushes. “Takes one to know one, you rotting piece of dog,” He spit his words out and growled. Whenever the other guy got near the wall it rippled, darkened, and hardened to prevent anyone from passing through it. Judging by this guy’s character, he was as mentally unstable as he looked.
Chief laughed at him. "Bravery. Ah how nice, you must really care for that pathetic thing i dont like to call a daughter. Then again, she isnt my child she is the mongruel's pathetic excuse to be a daughter. She is dirt that i walk on." He chuckled at them and circled him more. "Now meaty you look kind of delicious." He glared at him licking his lips.
Anica sat there furious, the more he talked the more he pissed her. She could see the wall that protected her from Lupus and her father but it was annoying her. She growled. "Father! I do NOT care what you think! You are nothing to me, but a pathetic old soul that abused my daddy into a dark mischievous night. I do not know what Anze loves you so damn much. AND you have a lot of nerve for coming to this neck of the woods. You have no power here and you know it. Do you SEE these flowers around here, they fill my soul with magic so you better leave now before i have full advantage over you. NOW BEGONE YOU OLD FART!" Her raged filled the sky. The flowers that surrounded her started to shake and fill the air that surrounded the area. She knew if she was in trouble and needed to use magic this is the only time she had to use it.

His blood began to boil. He did care about Anica, which made him all the angrier. “You may not like it, but she is your kin none the less and you should not treat her as you do!” He sniffed and gave a slight smile, “My name is Lupus, old man. Not ‘meaty.’ You’re really as senile as you look. No man in his right mind would speak as you do.” He bared his teeth, “You’re parents must have beaten the sanity out of you to make such a wrong little spit of a man.” He heard Anica yelling and immediately dropped the shield. The Shadows fell to the ground with a puff and circled his feet. He felt strangely inspired by Anica’s strong dislike of her father. He saw her gathering power and decided he wanted to get one last dig in before Anica blasted him to bits. Taking a deep breath, he released some of his strongest Shadows and, while Anica’s father was distracted, used them to rope his feet in place. That way there would be no escape from her wrath.
"Oh Puh-lease you two dont scare me and anica dont get your panties wet im gone, but we should meet again, you and your little witch too MUAHAHAHAH" He laughed at the thought of his feet being tied up. He shook his head and grabbed some herb potion and threw it onto the ground. As the potion exploded a thick heavy cloud of smoke filled the air. Once the air cleared he was gone, nothing but the rope remained on the ground.
Anica glared at the smoke. "Really you are going to run away. COWARD!!" She said into the air. She was still gather magic that filled her blood. She could do almost anything. She turned to Lupus and looked at what surrounded him. "What are those and are they good?" She looked at him, she hoped he would calm her down before she went off with the magic build up.

Lupus cursed himself for not binding his hands as well. The buildup of Shadows around him was becoming overwhelming. Taking another deep breath, he exhaled and they slowly began to back up. He thought about the time he became so angry he almost suffocated himself with his own Shadows. After that he practiced a few quick ways to chill out. Turning to Anica, he spoke calmly taking deep breaths between short sentences, which helped to reassure himself. “They are Shadows. They do my bidding. I can only manifest them at night. That’s why I was so helpless earlier.” His pulse slowed and he caught his breath. “They are good for just about anything I want or need. They can do anything from help me travel far distances, turn into inanimate objects, or hide me from unwanted eyes.” He shrugged, now that his blood wasn’t pounding in his ears he was able to think more clearly. “Are you okay?”
Anica blinked at him, "Shadows, bidding? What kind of bidding are you doing, the good or bad?" She couldnt handle another guy doing biddings especially for evil. She wanted to murder her father for all the wrong he has done, but she wouldnt nor she couldnt. She looked at Lupus and she knew he wasnt evil and she could tell. She automatically relaxed and smiled. "Dont answer that i know that they do good....Right?" She paused looking up at him.
Lupus knew all the adrenalin was gone from his veins as soon as he looked down. His paws were shaking slightly and he had to take a few more breaths to make it stop. He nodded his head as if he understood her concern. After meeting her father…he shook his head. “You have nothing to fear from me, Anica.” Despite the fact he was not social and hated physical contact, the way she smiled at him warmed his heart. Lupus leaned forward and rested his cheek against hers and whispered in her ear. “I only ever use force for my own, and sometimes other’s, protection.” Her hair smelled nice as it tickled his nose. “For someone shadowed in darkness, I think you are the first to see the light.”

Anica felt his warmness around her and listened to his voice. It was sweet and soothing just how most whispering should be. She liked the fact that he was nice and she felt like this one COULD be possibly be the one. She just smiled and hoped he wouldnt leave her like the other one left her. The surrounding flowers started to glow a bright pink and red with little heart bubbles floating out of them. She glared at the flowers and hid her face on his shoulders to hide her rosy cheeks. "Thank you" She said quietly.
He blinked at the funny little lights. They had changed color and were now floating about them. Lupus squinted at one, a heart? His face suddenly felt hot. Was Anica doing this? Did she like him the same way he was beginning to feel about her? He relaxed as she breathed her thanks onto his fur and skin. Slowly, he lifted his arms and wrapped them around her. He’d never treated anything with care, but as he gently pulled Anica closer to him, he almost couldn’t breathe. Closing his eyes, Lupus rested his head on the top of hers. Despite his seemingly calm appearance, his heart was pounding against his chest. He found himself strangely comparing this moment to when he’d first finished a puzzle. It was 500 pieces and just as he was about to finish it, he had discovered the last piece was missing. After weeks of pouting, he’d discovered the final part hidden under the couch. As soon as he pushed it into place, it was complete. ‘This is a billion times better,’ he thought to himself. Lupus felt just like that puzzle. Anica was his missing piece. With her, he was complete.
