::Koji Masahiko Mori, the Prince of the Wasteland::

Quote:
Gaia Avatar: [Mods will do this.]
Gaia Name: Hibarii chan

Quote:
Name: Koji Masahiko Mori
Nicknames: The Prince of the Wasteland
Age: 16
Appearance: User Image
Clan Rank: Prince of the Remnant Nation of Japan
Love Interest: ---
Parentage: Motonari Mori and Minori Koroko
Personality: Circumstances and incidents have hardened Koji up into the person he is now. Silent and brooding, he prefers to keep to himself unless it is absolutely necessary to his plans. He’s untrusting and difficult to befriend, disillusioned with the world they live him; always keeping his walls and defenses up. He is strategically cunning, and thinks things through thoroughly before acting. Anger and bitterness bottle up inside of him and he is at times blinded by the idea of getting his revenge on the people who betray him. Despite his cold demeanor, and at the very rare occasions his thoughts of revenge are subdued, Koji has kindness deep deep inside, and like his mother, he would protect those who needed the help; and he’d never leave a friend behind.
Bio:Perhaps among the most likely of children of the 'Bad Future', a series of coincidental events lead to his conception as the son of Shogun Motonari Mori and one of a very few Investigation Team Members to avoid their untimely disappearance, Minori Koroko. The history of Koji's parents is a surprising one, given the dramatic history between them...but after being forced to sit out the mission which ultimately saw the I. Team disappear into Babel due to severe injuries in an attack by the Messiahs the day before, Minori...wracked with guilt...began a hopeless search for some means, any means at all, to turn the growing tide of darkness enveloping the nation. Yet one group of allies after another fell...and after the disappearance of the Shadow Operatives as well, the grieving young girl came to the conclusion that only one person in the country was likely to have a solution to the problem of the Corruption...thus, she swallowed her anger and ventured alone to the nation's capital...to meet with the man they now called 'Shogun'. Once a suitor for her hand, Motonari had more important issues on his mind with the Corruption quickly compromising the nation...searching for a means with which to combat the darkness, Minori joined him in Tokyo to try and turn the tide...and for a while, the city remained surprisingly whole, his brilliant defensive strategies keeping the Corruption at bay. Yet even he seemed to know that defense was merely a temporary salve to keep the infection at bay...but it would not last forever if they could not find a way to counter the problem. Days grew into weeks...weeks into months...and the city grew weaker and weaker, with it, the Shogun grew more and more weighed down by his burdens...by the reality that even the Shogunate lacked the resources and the knowledge to salvage the country from this peril. And in those moments of dark acceptance and grief concealed behind those brilliant, dark eyes, Minori saw for the first time the man beneath the cold gaze and the abominable agenda...a man who, in his own twisted way, loved his country...his family, his lands, even his people...and who was being torn apart by the fact that even his legendary genius could not save them all. She saw him for the first time as a human...as a man...and in his darkest hours she somehow found it within her heart to comfort him, and accept him...perhaps because she had been so grievously wounded as well. As a result, two children were born...Kouichi and Koji...and with each smiling little face, a new fire and a new hope was born, light returning to the eyes of the Shogun. A plan emerged in the weeks that followed, in anticipation of the day the Siege of Tokyo ended with the utter Corruption of the city...a plan that involved disappearing beneath the city...leaving the world beyond to the Corruption until such a time as they could emerge again and fight against it. It was a delay tactic, but it would buy them invaluable time for humanity to endure and study the Corruption...time to prepare to one day return to the surface. However, to leave the rest of the country at such a crucial junction...while the practical and likely most successful choice...was a cruel decision that the new mother could not accept. And so after some debate it was decided...that when the time came and the Shogunate moved underground, a diversion would be made that allowed Minori and the second son, Koji, to escape the city and seek out the so-called Resistance of the Yatagarasu. Which is exactly what they did, and though the loss of the two of them might have broken the Shogun's cold heart, he let them go...keeping only his oldest son by his side to one day carry on his legacy. And time passed by, Minori's considerable power enough to keep them alive until the day that they were discovered by agents of the Resistance...and there they joined, Minori's power allowing Koji to find a place to grow and learn, to make friends...and with his brilliant mind for strategy, he became a key member of the younger portion of the Resistance...the kids who would one day leap through time. He developed his power...the unique Atma Style of the Devil Kings with inherited items from his mother...over time, but even that couldn't help him on the day that he and his friends were overrun by the Corruption. His strategy had called for a rear guard of Inigo, their nominal leader on the mission, to protect the group as they retreated...but as the team made their escape from the Corrupted Koji noticed that their 'leader' was nowhere to be found. Determined not to leave a friend behind, he returned and helped Inigo to escape...but himself, became surrounded by the Corrupted with no hope to escape. Inigo fought to reach him, but to no avail...and as the Corrupted threatened to overrun him and the rest of the team behind him, others becoming injured in their attempt to escape, Inigo made a decision that continues to haunt him...to order his team's retreat before Koji had been recovered. Koji fought hard...believing that his friends would save him...but the rescue that he had faith in never came. His spirit began to waver and an anger welled up inside of him...at his so-called friends for abandoning him, at his mother for believing in them...but at Inigo most of all, who had left him behind after he himself had gone back to save the swordsman. Fighting with a renewed anger through the exhaustion, Koji managed to escape into a building and found his way into the sewers beneath the city before the Corrupted could overrun the facility. He escaped the edge of the city and kept on moving, navigating his path towards Tokyo in hopes of reuniting with the father that he had once upon a time left behind...but upon reaching the city he found that there was nothing left uncorrupted...no path into the underground that he could reach...he was alone, abandoned, and bitter...he had no home, no parents...as his mother had long since died...no friends any longer. Only his bitterness drove him...and it brought him back to the Resistance on the brink of their mission into the Corridor. When the door opened, he followed with what other Corrupted beasts had followed, slyly chasing their path to the far end...and the past. There, he would find them all...one by one. There, at last, he would exorcise his anger...and make them all pay for what they had done to him. He would make them regret the day that he had believed in them...and that they had ever dared betray that precious trust.

Name: Ravenna Aodhan
Nicknames: The Sand Snake
Age: Unknown (appears in 30s)
Appearance: User Image
Clan: Cernunnos
Rank Lord’s Guard
Love Interest: Obelyn Cernunnos
Personality: Ravenna is loyal to Obelyn, as she was loyal to the Cernunnos family when they were alive. A strict woman, Ravenna isn’t one to look lightly at things; and after the massacre, that side of her became more prominent. She had great esteem for Morrighan, and was devastated when she heard of the news…turning colder and sterner. Still, there’s a softer side to her, and she isn’t as vengeance-driven as Obelyn, focusing on her duty as the Lord’s Guard, and caring only about his well-being. Her affection for him is no secret to anybody, and while she is quite open about their relationship, she will severely reprimand -to say it politely- whoever dares to speak about it out of line.

The Spirit of Morrighan Cernunnos
Item Type: Blackstone Magatsuhi Crystal
Description: Passed on at the death of the Morrighan of House Cernunnos, older sister of Obelyn Cernunnos, the spirit lays in wait until the right time, then bonds with a chosen successor to her powers. Imbued with the might of Morrighan, Shepherd of Spirits, the owner of this Crystal can summon to his or her hand the Axe of Morrighan and with it, wield a new set of powers. To channel the spirit of Morrighan, the user must crush the crystal (it will reform after the possession but must be kept on their person at all times). The result will be the complete, temporary sealing of their powers which become replaced with these. Signified by blackish-violet eyes that swirl with the darkness of the underworld and dark, translucent aura that radiates pure energy, they may hold this transformation for as long as they choose, but cannot access any other abilities, items, weapons, etc. until they release it. Form's power is on the same Tier as their own.
Effects: Summon the spirit of Morrighan in place of other powers:
- Add Medium Dark Damage to all attacks and unbreakable Dark Absorb.
- Ability to use Low-Level projectile attack...a cutting slice of Dark.
- Mastery of the weapon type [Hammer/Axe].
- 5 Skills chosen from Skill List (Low, Med, High, Very High, Restricted [With Approval])
- Unique Signature Attack (Phantom Queen - Representing the three aspects of Morrighan, Babd, Macha, and Nemain; Phantom Queen makes use of one of three signature abilities. 'Babd' sees the wielder raise a hand and unleash a storm of Dark-Elemental Crows which hit for 2-8 strikes of Low Dark Damage on all enemies. 'Macha' Deals High Dark Damage with a 1/7 chance of inflicting Charm. 'Nemain' opens a Dark Link between the wielder and an enemy for 3 turns which Drains Med Dark Damage from the enemy and refills the health of the wielder. [May only use one of these skills once every 3 turns.])

::Obelyn Cernunnos, the Red Viper::

Quote:
Gaia Avatar:
Gaia Name: Arena Emperor

Quote:
Name: Obelyn Cernunnos
Nicknames: The Red Viper
Age: Unknown (appears in 30s)
Appearance: User Image
Clan: Cernunnos
Rank Lord
Love Interest: ??? (But as has been said, he is famous for frakkin' half the underworld.)
Personality: There is a mischief and devil-may-care way about him, a freedom of speech and thought and deed and promiscuity that defines him. He is restless, never given to any one passion for too long before mastering what he wishes of it and moving on. He hates deeply, loves even more deeply, and is loyal to his clan to a fault. For a devil, he is surprisingly forthright...wearing his heart on his sleeve as well as his grudges, his interests and inclinations. All of which belies a venom festering deep within his heart, the need for vengeance...for justice. And his patience for lying in wait for the perfect moment to strike is all but worn completely...
Bio: Born into the Cernunnos Clan of demons, he was a Prince of the Underworld from the day he was born...flattered and loved by the warriors souls that were claimed by his father Belroth and his sister Morrighan, the King and Princess of the little corner of the underworld which they ruled. Owning a small corner of Hell, they were strong and venomous as a family, and even the Prince of Darkness himself had always let them be, let them claim what few Celtic souls they desired...never wishing to waste his Generals in an open conflict with the powerful serpents of Cernunnos. Obelyn knew of this unspoken agreement, took pride in the nobility, the strength, the beauty of his family, and he was beloved nearly as much as his older sister. He studied as he liked, loved as he liked, and was notorious as well, both for his conquests on the battlefield and in the bedroom. His family was proud, close-knit, and they were happy as they had been for countless ages...

...Everything changed on that day, when upon his return from Japan in the human world he discovered that his family's kingdom had been decimated, parsed out between the generals of Lucifer's Armies...and the daughter of the Norse Trickster Loki while he was gone. He laid low in the Underworld for a while, listening to the stories and gathering what little information he and his personal escort...the only members of the family to escape the slaughter...could glean from what those who inherited his territories would tell. His father and sister had received word that the Lord of Darkness was preparing an attack...and raised arms to prepare themselves, though on the eve of the War both fell ill...victims of poison. Belroth had been unable to fight in the battle...his age and the poison combining to incapacitate him entirely, leaving his beautiful and powerful sister Morrighan, young and vital enough to stand and to fight...to lead their family against the invading forces alone.

...It was a massacre. Betrayed from within by Hel, whom they had believed to be loyal, it became clear from the outset that their doom was upon them...and that the Trickster God of the Norse had been the one to instigate his daughter into doing so. The souls which they had safeguarded, the Celtic Warriors, became enslaved by the Prince of Darkness...his family and friends were killed, without mercy. What territory the Prince of Darkness had never dared lay claim to in Hell became his own in the blink of a night...treachery had done what thousands of years of wars could not. And the Cernunnos Clan had fallen. None, however, had suffered more than his sister...

...What became of Morrighan before her death remains the subject of much mystery. They say that Belzaboul and the Generals of the Prince of Darkness's armies had their way with her once she had been defeated and subdued...tearing away her pride as they had torn away the walls of their home...her children were murdered, flayed, given as offerings to the King of Demons...and in the end, she too was killed.

...

Hearing the stories, a great rage was born in the heart of young Obelyn...venom clogging his veins, stinging his heart...and an unquenchable thirst for justice against not just those who had killed his sister...but those who had betrayed her, those who had conspired to bring such a horrible fate upon her. Hel, Belzaboul, Belphegor...Loki...and even the Great Darkness himself...every one of them had to die. Every one of them had to confess their sins and be killed at the end of his spear for the great evil they had committed against the Cernunnos Clan. He would have to wait a long time...hundreds of years...maybe a thousand...and he would have to choose his moment carefully, a moment when the uneasy 'truce' between the Trickster and the Fallen Angel fell apart...before he struck.

...

Deadly patience...that was what was required if he was to ever have his revenge...to bring justice upon the killers of his sister and his family. He would show them, kill them...they would see that they should have snuffed out the entire Cernunnos Family if they would dare to tread upon them! They would feel the venom of the Red Viper...and only then would he allow them the grace of death.

::Sorata "Sora" Asakura, Survivor of the Nightmare::

Quote:
Gaia Avatar: [Mods will do this.]
Gaia Name: Arena Emperor

Quote:
Name: Sorata Asakura
Nicknames: Sora
Age: 17
Appearance: User Image
School: Okina City High School (formerly Shirokidan High)
Grade: Junior
Homeroom: 2-3
Apartment Room: #207
Love Interest: ??? (You'll find out soon)
Personality: Conservative and friendly during his time at Shirokidan High School, Sora was a class representative for a year and a half on the Student Council there. Approachable, but never remarkably outgoing, he lived his life with a measured, easygoing attitude that only really seemed to pique towards interest at certain things...a life lead easily, but never particularly thrillingly. He was a member of the High School's less-than-stellar Judo Club during those times, perhaps one of the few things that inspired something beyond mild interest in him. He is quite good.

Post-Iwadate: Ever since the terror of his kidnapping and eventual escape from death thanks to the final efforts of the teams in Yomi, Sora's passive personality has given way to something much more open and active. Though never seeming remarkably enthusiastic, his soft smile rarely fades and he is willing to try almost any idea, no matter how silly, at least once or twice. His love of Judo has expanded to many grappling arts ranging from Greco-Roman Wrestling to Karate even to Lucha Libre, having a suddenly-remarkable aptitude for all of them. There is, perhaps, an attachment to the arts and things that matter to him that reflects his inner pain...the scars of his imprisonment and the nightmare he endured to emerge from Yomi as one of, if not the only kidnapping victim to escape the dungeon after the Iwadate Massacre. He tends to be very accepting of how other people feel, even if he's gone to an extreme prior to change their mind. Life, he might say, is too short to dwell on the things you can't change. After all, his almost ended only a few months prior...

Bio: A fairly well-known, but not terrifically remarkable student at the high-profile beach-front High School of Shirokidan, he was one of many innocent students who got wrapped up in the strange disappearances back in the Spring against his will. Disappearing after successfully winning a regional Judo meet, his was just one of a few missing persons cases left outstanding when Haruto Mashiba and his allies dove into Yomi for the last time...clashed with those of Shinpachi Saito's team for the last time...and with the Massacre that was to follow, escaped from Yomi for the last time. Having spend days trapped within the hidden dungeon, hovering warily on the border between certain death and life, he began to wish somewhere inside of his heart that he had lived his life more fully...that he had tried out more sports, put his heart more into his education, confessed to someone dramatically, whether he was accepted or not...but by the time the fateful night had come, he had accepted that he was going to die.

...But the noises began and magic caused the tunnels of the underwater caverns to fill with light and screams, both of effort and terror and gleeful madness...he thought that he had gone crazy, that he was hallucinating things...but as the sound slowly began to fade, footsteps could be heard in drastic flight from the conflict...their light shining the first true light he had seen in days through the cave and into his aching eyes. And through the light he saw a face, one he had recognized from his days at school...someone that he had long held a somewhat lingering attraction for but never had the immediate drive to confess to. It felt as though he had been stricken by a goddess...the sight, the realization, the sudden thrill of hope rising inside of his heart. Another crash of fire and darkness from down the hall rattled the walls, and even as the fleeing person tossed a spell back across his eyes towards the direction of their pursuer, his shackles were rocked and cracked and fell away...his body collapsing to the floor.

Whether intentional or not, they had saved him...and his life, whatever was left of it, he now owed to them.

Vision flashed white and black, and footsteps thundered past...he had no wherewithal to look and see...time passed and he couldn't count out a second or a minute or an hour as all of the fatigue rushed over him...

...And as the dungeon began to sink and crumble around him, his world began to fade entirely.

...

Post-Iwadate: In the days that came following the Massacre, when the bodies washed up on the shore of the white sands, his was among them...but unlike the others, there was life yet to be found within him. He escaped the beach before the reporters began to show and as he wandered the city in a daze, remembering all that he could of the nights before, he could hear and read on the television screens throughout the city the horror of the reports relating to the nightmare he had somehow walked away from. It was too much...he couldn't handle the attention, the memory...and when none of the reports made mention, not even amongst the dead, of that person...he decided there on the spot, standing on a street-corner looking in through the glass of the electronics store at the sight of the devastation...that it was time for him to get away. Away from that beach, from that town, from those people who would know that he had somehow been a part of that incident after his disappearance...either swamping him with suspicion or sympathy that he didn't want or need.

...They never came back to the city, so neither did he. He left, and he searched...and he followed as best he could the trail of the escapees from Yomi's Massacre until he at last discovered solid rumor of the city to which they had finally gone. Okina City...and the school, Okina City High School. Staying in a dormitory owned by the Kirijo, the survivors were all grouped up together...the only people in the world who might know, in some degree, what he had experienced in that hellish cave...he had to find them, to join them. There was something he needed to do there...

He enrolled in Okina City High School shortly thereafter (weeks before the Okina Team themselves), but without the cover of the Kirijo, that he was a survivor of Iwadate was no secret in his case. Kids throughout the school would know of him...that he was a survivor...but whether or not they would accept him, he didn't worry over much.

He had found the only people left with whom he could truly relate...and he hoped, find a home.

Quote:
Name: Kokona Keiraku
Nicknames: Koko
Age: 19
Appearance: User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
Parentage: Kusuri Keiraku, and Faustus Necromonium
Love Interest: Koji Mori
Personality: With a sort of cold, standoffish personality, and a venomous tongue...one would be fair in assuming the worst about Kokona, but beneath her prickly exterior lies someone who deeply cares for those important to her. Obtaining her mother's violent attitude, and her father's snark, she can be hard to approach..But to anyone who really gets to know her, they'd know she only worries for the right reasons, though....
Bio: Kokona was born to Faustus Necromonium, and Kusuri Keiraku during a slight time before the bad future unfolded...Meaning she was forced to undergo the horrors that the corruption brought at a very young age. Forced to watch families torn apart, lives lost, and blood shed from an early age wasn't the best thing for her.....
But, against odds...She managed to survive with her family, for a time. Enough for her to learn the remnants of the world that was lost to the corruption...And just enough to form memories of her Father. The two were rigorously training as soon as she could manage it, trying to get her to improve and strengthen herself....Before it was too late.
However, by her Eighth birthday....Tragedy Struck, and her father was lost to the encroachment of the corruption...leaving her to train with her mother to even keep exisiting.

And train she did...day in...and day out...Until one day, returning home from another excursion, she found that the vile corruption had encroached on her own home...On her livelihood...and on her mother, who'd been fighting to try to save her. Watching her mother being turned before her very eyes had been nearly enough for the girl to give up, and give into the corruption.....
But, in a chance encounter...The Resistance was able to find her.

She joined up with the group, strengthening her powers, and becoming a valuable asset to the group, finding friendship in the others.....one in particular.
However, after one mission that the others went on....She was informed of another loss. One of the group had been seemingly lost to the corruption...
One of the sons of Motonari Mori, Koji. She grieved, but continued on with the others, going on more and more missions with the others. One day, however, the group was surprised...And in the process of fighting her way out...
She was lost from the group. No matter how far she ran, or which way she looked...the group was nowhere to be found. However, before she could succumb to the despair of losing everyone she'd cared about, a figure came back from the proverbial dead...
And she was reunited with Koji Mori. He told her his side of the story....That he hadn't been lost, but actively abandoned to the corruption. With her own experience in being lost, she found a sort of kinship with Koji. Despite what the others may have done to them, the two grouped together, refusing to abandon the other like the group had abandoned them. And, a strong friendship formed....
Until the time came to find the group for their revenge. They followed the group through the strange corridor, refusing to be left behind again....But what awaited them was far beyond imagining....
It was labyrinthine, twisting, and turning. She struggled to keep up, yet also remain just out of sight of the others with Koji. The path was horrifying...wrought with danger, and in several cases...It seemed like it would be her end....
Until suddenly, they were out. Bright lights....Lush terrain. No Corruption to be seen.....
Yet..As she wandered the area....She'd realized her tailing had been all for naught.
Koji, along with the others they were following, were nowhere to be seen.
So, being lost in an unfamiliar land, she merely did what she was able to do.....

Look around to try to find her bearings....And to find the others. To find Koji...And, when they were together again, and could find the group in this new world....
She would show them no mercy.

Bael
. Lael

School: ???
Grade: Senior
Homeroom: 3-?
Love Interest: Eve Nekata
Parentage: Unknown
Personality: Lael is quiet and morbid, aware of another self that has slowly twisted his morality, but cannot entirely obliterate his morality. He is quietly passionate, but has forgotten most of his passions. He clings to those few he remembers to try and stay the person that he is...instead of who his increasingly troubled mind wants him to be. He cares for small things. He cares for someone. He wants to punish those who do not care for little things. He wants to punish the world...or something inside of him does. Sorting out which is him and which is...not, is what keeps him human. Or something resembling it.
Bael's Personality: Twisted and cruel, theatrical as well. He is carefree and insulting, the polar opposite of the much more quiet and careful Lael. He is an extreme version of his other self, punishing where Lael would be patient...loud where Lael would be quiet...and violently impulsive where Lael would be coldly calculating. His personality is so overwhelming that Lael's mind has begun to blend the two personalities together at times...making it hard for the milder-mannered Lael to tell where his own self starts and his other self begins. He takes the darker aspects of Lael's personality...his desire to punish others for crushing little dreams, little hopes, little things...to see a world more ideal...and he makes them awful...bloody. If he could keep this personality completely hidden he would...but he cannot. It's become far too strong for that.

Bio: Unlike many who simply wish to forget their lives before they come into this particular story or act of things, the years leading up to when the Black Burgess was discovered hiding out in an abandoned Kirijo Laboratory during the darker days of the Bad Future are an actual blur inside of his mind. He can't recall the town where he was born, or if it even was in a town somewhere. Lael can't remember his parents, his friends, or even the type of person that he was before a hand extended into the darkness to try and pull him out of whatever isolation he had been in before. What he remembers is long nights in that Lab, not because he was a test subject (one of the few things he is certain of is that he was not a subject, but someone who simply found his way to the Lab at some point and hid there for as long as he could from the darkness, using the supplies of the dilapidated place to survive), but because he felt safe inside the walls and with the cages nearby. If the Corrupted came in, he could hide behind a door where he could not be seen or reached by them, and there he endured for a length of time...perhaps, long, perhaps short. What he remembers clearly is the face of the girl who found him, and who offered to take him to a place that was safer...a place where he didn't have to be alone. He remembers being afraid of taking her hand, because there was a voice inside of his mind that whispered treacherous little impulses. He took her hand anyway, and with that, he joined the Resistance...

...He remembered being isolated when he joined the Resistance, unable to truly communicate with or open himself up to other members of their group. He remembered that little voice in his mind growing louder, but silencing itself a degree whenever she came to visit him and they spent time together in the few places left in the world that they had managed to keep beautiful. He remembered her trying to introduce him to the others...to the energetic ones that clashed with his quiet spirit, to the mature ones who tried to understand but couldn't quite, and to the isolated ones...like Set...with whom he could identify to a degree and whom he thought that one day, he might call a friend. He remembered the voice whispering loudly around each of them, and how afraid it made him. He remembered wishing that the voice would go away...but it only got louder.

He remembered the first morning when an injured member of the Resistance was found. He remembered the crimson blood that stained the floor...and the uneasy satisfaction that he felt for just a moment as he looked upon the beaten body of one of the crueler agents of the Crows that lived among them. He remembered the horror on her face. ...He remembered the second, more severely beaten member the next night, and the third. He remembered that feeling growing stronger, and the voice growing louder, and the blood spilling wilder and all over the walls and the floor...the injuries growing more and more severe...he remembered her growing more and more afraid. He remembered how much that ate at him, and how much he wanted to fight back.

He remembered when that voice was given a name. He remembered when he learned the truth. And he remembered how afraid he was that the truth of the voice and what it meant didn't bother him so much as it should have...

He remembered when she saw him standing over one of their fellow children who had been beaten nearly to death...and how he had cried out at the voice to stop...but how he had lost control of himself entirely and how it threatened her until he forced it to miss when it attacked her. He remembered when he regained control and explained himself to her...how she had tried to help him...to make the voice stop...

He remembered when he failed her. He remembered the blood, so much blood...crimson, staining everywhere...the body.

He remembered leaving the Resistance, unable to face her...and unable to face judgment, his other part not willing to let him. He remembered running, days, weeks, months, nearly three years that went by in the wild...alone...killing, surviving...until she found him again. He remembered her telling him that the Resistance was gone. He remembered her telling him that they had a way to change it all. He remembered...that he couldn't let such a chance pass...to undo what he had done...to change the world...

...

He remembered weeks in a cell, ever-guarded by the Shogun to ensure he did not hurt anyone. He remembered the day that they left...when he joined her...

...

He remembered how the voice had taunted her back in the cell...he remembered the traitorous words it whispered as they passed through the Corridor, the brutal promises it screamed inside of his mind...he remembered when he decided that he couldn't stay with the group any longer.

...

He remembered leaving them once they reached the new world...he remembered being found by someone else. He remembered the golden eyes that shimmered with devious, malicious mirth as he turned Lael free...to 'do more damage on his own than we could do using him ourselves'...

...He remembered...but no matter how he wished to change it all, he couldn't. He could only remember...and try to somehow change the future. If only he could first change himself...

Murakumo Force: Celestial Magnitude - A manipulation of the forces holding together the fabric of the world; bending the magnetic pull of the Earth upon all things to their own whims, the sky darkens as the clouds gather overhead. Gravity pulls violently down upon all foes surrounding the caster, straining bone, tearing muscle, and rooting the enemy in place temporarily as the very world conspires to prevent their movements. The user's eye glints a terrifying violet as he casts this technique, and only they remain unaffected by its celestial force.
